Did I get the car I was looking for at seemingly a reasonable price? Yes. Was it the most stressful, unprofessional and heinous customer services I've ever received in life? Also yes. Full disclaimer I'm a young, single woman who went in alone. I had totaled my car and was not only in a rush to do things but I've never done this before. In the past I was apparently spoiled going directly to the Honda dealership. I saw an ad for the 2021 Honda Clarity that I was looking for online, went from Boston out to Worcester, test drove the car, put down $200 as a deposit while waiting for the check for my insurance. The car had 120k miles on it but is otherwise in wonderful condition from what I can see. It was listed for about $15k but when I came in I was pleasantly surprised they can take $4k off the top as an electrical vehicle tax credit. It seemed like a no-brainer. Now it's screaming scam. I was transparent with the manger, Yana, who I dealt with every step of the way that I hadn't done this before and was looking for guidance. She miscommunicated with me in multiple ways including the best form of payment, when to insure the new vehicle and that the sales tax ($1k) was not included in the price but expected at the RMV. My paperwork says I paid the tax at the dealer then was shocked to have to pay again. Screaming scam. When I went to get the car inspected it immediately failed. There was a safety issue in the front left wheel. I called Yana and she ordered the parts and had me come in the next week for her mechanic to fix the car. This was extremely upsetting. I just spent $11k on a car and they didn't even apologize for the serious error. They said "mistakes happen" and refused to compensate me for my horrible experience. When expressing my frustrations with Yana, the owner (her dad) came out of nowhere and took control of the conversation. He was extremely rude and dismissive and refused to give me the name of the mechanic who supposedly fixed the car. They don't have a mechanic on site and drove it somewhere down the road. It was all very shady. They had initially asked me to write a review so when I took my phone to take pictures of the place they got extremely offended and said "we're done here" and threated to call the police. We actually are not done here. I'll be in touch with the BBB and my lawyer. I really tried not to judge a book by its cover but the place is also filthy inside and out. It's dark, dingy and the "waiting area" are literal dog beds. When I went in I was jumped on by multiple dogs. So unprofessional. read more

Bought my new car from here, owners are not very responsive and aren't even there half the time, no appointment times are needed they said I could just show up but sometimes they leave the buisness and are gone for hours, only good thing about this buisness is they fixed everything wrong with my car before I bought it and got it ready for inspection. On my way home from buying a Nissan Juke at MetroWest Auto Sales, I hit stop-and-go traffic, and the car stalled. Repeatedly. It had to be put in park in order to restart, so it was scary, being at risk of getting rear-ended. This wasn't the sort of problem that would have caused the car to fail inspection, but it was dangerous, and it needed to be fixed. I figured it was my car now, and my problem. But MetroWest actually sent someone to my house, over an hour away, to pick up the car. They tried SO HARD to fix the problem. Two mechanics failed, so they took it to $$$ Nissan. I cannot imagine how much money they spent trying to diagnose and fix that darn car. I know they lost money. Lots of money. When Nissan couldn't fix it, they offered me a choice - a full refund (including registration/title fees), or I could put the purchase price toward another car. I wanted a small AWD/4WD vehicle, so I bought a sporty little Mazda CX 3. MetroWest took care of registration and all fees, even insisted on refunding the Pay-by-plate fees incurred during test drives. The Mazda had a minor issue with the windshield washer, and I simultaneously had a family emergency in Florida. So when I took the car back to get the washer fixed, they DROVE ME TO THE AIRPORT and stored the car until I got back. I cannot say enough about the fantastic people behind MetroWest Auto Sales. I was interested in a Crown Victoria, and found one on Carfax from this dealer. The price was 128 above Carfax value, which wasn't too bad. I went to their website, but there were no pictures. However, they put in the description "Excellent condition inside and out". Days later they added another thousand or so to the price, making the car 1000+ over the Carfax estimate. I called and asked why, and they said it was because the car had some detailing, some fixing, and etc. They finally uploaded pictures, and the car looked great. I made an appointment the other day to come in on Monday, and drove an hour to Worcester to test drive the car and potentially trade mine in towards it. I told them I had an appointment to check out the Crown Victoria, and the gentleman there said "don't turn it off, the battery is dead". Okay, sure. The first thing I noticed is that the car looked much better in the pictures. In person there were scratches and etc. I ask if there is any rust, he says no. I check under the hood, where there appeared to be traces of rust. This is a 12 year old car, so I get wear and tear is a possibility, but if there is a lot of wear and tear, don't put "excellent condition inside and out" in the description. I got in the car, and another gentleman walked over. I asked him some questions, and then told him I have a potential trade in. He immediately told me my trade in would be 300 max, which I told him should not be the case, as the Carfax estimate trade in value was 1,500+. He dismissed that, which made me feel as though I was being low balled intentionally, and that their promise on their website, "get the best value for your trade in", is not genuine. I mean, if the best value for my trade in is 1,500+ and he offers me 300, that doesn't seem like that promise would be delivered. I drive the vehicle, and turn onto a street. The car was behaving strangely. The dealer said there was a full tank of gas, but now the gas says empty. The speedometer still hasn't moved even though we are driving. I turn into a driveway and start to reverse to turn around and head back, and the car dies as I'm pulling out. We had to call and have their mechanic come and give us a jump. The mechanic then told us that there was probably no gas, even though the gentleman on the lot says there was a full tank. All of this was highly disappointing. I feel like the car was misrepresented, and that they did not consider my needs as a customer. The mechanic was nice, though. NOTE: I left this same review on Google, and the dealership responded by literally making up stories about this day. They said my trade-in had 300,000 miles on it and is only good for the junk yard. My trade-in has 165,000 miles on it. I can prove this. They said they told me "this car needs a battery and you should not drive it", but that I "insisted on driving it". That conversation never happened. I called and told the lady that works there about this, and she apologized and assured me that she will speak to the employee and ask him to change the response to an honest one, but that she could no longer find the review on Google. This is because someone reported my review and it has been made private by Google. It is odd to me that the same week I posted the above review, it was reported. I'm not sure why reporting it worked, as there is no bad language or anything in the review, but that's google for you. Overall this is the worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership. Not only because the car was misrepresented, but because the employee posted a dishonest response to my review, which showed me that they just can't be trusted. It should also be noted that this Crown Victoria I looked at is no longer on their website. You can filter their inventory by "sold" to see cars that they have sold recently. This car is not among the recently sold cars. So if it is not for sale any longer, and they never sold it... What happened to it? Where is it? I can only assume that they realized that this car that was "in excellent condition inside and out" was not in any condition to be sold or driven. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Went to the dealership on a Saturday morning to look at a truck. As my girlfriend and I walked up towards the truck she slipped and fell on the ice. One of the salesman said "you should be more careful" and kept walking by. Regardless of the bad start we did take the truck for a ride after it took them 15 mins to find the keys. We liked the truck and decided to buy it. We were short on time because of family obligations but we were happy because of the no pressure approach. They never asked for a deposit or anything. As I was about to leave one if the salesman approached and said they had approval for me on the loan and it was in the price range I was looking for. I called them back two days later after yet another blizzard and agreed on price and payment over the phone. Again no request for a deposit. I in turn sold my car to someone and arranged to buy the truck on Saturday. I called the dealership on Friday afternoon to double check on what I needed on Saturday to pick up the truck and was informed that SOMEONE ELSE WAS COMING IN 45 MINS TO SIGN PAPERS BECAUSE I NEVER LEFT A DEPOSIT!!!! This is by far the most unprofessional and rudest dealership I've ever worked with. Not to mention they don't care about getting their customers the best deal all they care about is trying to pull the most money they can out of you. They told me that the bank that was financing us mandatorily required them to register the car for me then they proceeded to say that they have to charge me an extra 100$ on top of the standard 295$ dealer fee we already pay them, they tried to force me to buy a 2500$ "warranty" they said was mandatory "with that specific bank" they were very rude to us and extremely slow and unaccommodating. Every time we got to a a bank that would finance us they would say no not them because the fee they had to pay to the bank was to high. They wouldn't give me a receipt for the money I put down and then when all was said and done and I got financed they backed out of the deal and I asked for a refund of my money the girl said she didn't have any money so they made me wait two hours for the boss to get back! Oh not to mention when I asked to see a copy of the terms and conditions of the loan she told me she can't do that and I said excuse me ?? How can I sign for something and agree to something that I can't even see the terms on?? The girl said all of her customers sign without viewing their policy !!! after her saying that I new they were trying to screw us over as much as they possibly could. I purchased a Ford Escape Hybrid here. This is a no nonsense place. They advertise wholesale prices to the public, and when I did my research, most other places were at least $1K more expensive for the same car. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but the prices and selection is great. I had a small mechanical problem a week after I purchased the car. I called them and they dealt with me professionally and took care of the issue even though, technically, it was not covered under the warranty. The one star is simply for the fact that the have a great inventory and the other is for their no hassle sales approach. I do not recommend purchasing here for a totally different reason. 72 hrs after purchasing a vehicle it became problematic. It had passed inspection the day before. The check engine came on. I brought it to autozone who read the codes and and cleared them. I had the car towed at my expense to their mechanic (Belsito who are very reputable and knowledgeable). There were no codes so the mechanic told me he recommended to the dealership (hearsay, granted) to check oil screen and actuators but they said no and had the oil changed instead. Called me and said cars ready. On the drive home bang it comes back. They claim to only guarantee that it pass inspection. Under mass law there is "implied warranty" which states the vehicle should run well for a "reasonable period of time." They will do nothing and I am on to litigation. I was looking for a Dodge Charger, they had a very nice retired State Police vehicle there with low miles. Body was in excellent condition, Black will show every little imperfection and there were none. Went out for a test drive car ran and handled beautifully. Cant beat the price. I think these reviews are a bit harsh on this place. No pressure at all on the lot. I bought an I3 still under factory warranty so i cant speak to how they handle fixing cars. PLEASE steer clear of this place!!! If this place is as busy as they keep claiming they are (which they're not), I feel bad for the other (potential) thousands of customers getting royally screwed by these guys! First off, it is my own fault for not "reading the signs" and leaving before anything was signed, but they had a car that I really wanted (a Police Interceptor with low miles) and so I just figured I'd get the transaction over with and never see them again. That, of course, was not the case in the slightest. My first experience with their lies came when I first inquired about the car in question. The salesman, Bob, told me I'd have trouble financing a service car, even through their own financial institutions. It's when I brought this up with another salesman (Eugene or Jose, can't remember) that he confronted Bob, and said "No! No problem financing!" That should have been the first strike. So stupid me, I went back up there, and test drove the car again with the intention of buying it. The oil dipstick was lodged in the tube, which is a bad sign, but like I said, this is the car I had my heart set on buying. Otherwise it drove great, except for the "Parking Brake engaged" and "Tire Pressure Low" sensors on, which I will touch upon later. The mechanic, the only decently honest guy in this establishment, tried to take it out with pliers, only breaking it in the process. They ordered a part and told me the car would be ready the next day. Okay. So I asked about the Parking Brake sensor, and Bob said that it's the spring that's messing with the sensor, making the computer think the E-Brake is on. Easy fix. Fine. Then, I brought up the Tire Pressure Sensor. My dad and I took it to a gas station to pump them up; the car had been sitting on the lot for months anyway. So when it didn't go off, we ended up getting a ton of different reasons as to why it was on. I will list them in order: 1. "You have to drive the car for 50 miles before the computer recognizes the change." (This is a blatant LIE, if you read Ford's 2011 Police Interceptor manual) 2. "The spare tire is deflated." (NO. Another LIE. There was no spare tire and no donut, because apparently dealers think they don't matter very much.) 3. "Well, it's because the donut/spare tire is missing then." (Well GREAT, you can add that to the list of things you need to replace.) 4. "The sensor is always on in these Interceptors because of the heavy-duty rims they use." (REALLY?! Again, refer to Ford's manual for this 2011 model. It's a sensor that's supposed to WORK PROPERLY, just as any other car would) Okay, at this point I just told Bob to disconnect the sensor, as my last car didn't have one anyway. It wasn't interfering with the car's performance in any way. Anyway, when it came time to negotiate a price, they said they couldn't go down at all. Typical. So I left to "think about it," when Bob came outside and said "I just talked to the owner, he said he'd take $100 off." (...) I then dealt with Jose, who, like everyone else at MetroWest (save, again, for the mechanic), knows nothing about cars and just wants people to bend over by the dozens to get screwed. He claimed the car was NOT on the lot for months (even though there is a posting on CarGurus completely disproving that claim). Jose then had the audacity to say that the car is in high demand (let that one fester in your brain for a while) and that they can't sell it for any lower. I ended up getting frustrated though, so I settled for $9250. This was my next mistake, because the BS "document fees" (for which MA has no limit) totaled $250, so they sold the car for the sticker price anyway. Whatever. I signed the purchase and sale and left. So now came the next fiasco, when all MetroWest Auto Sales had to do was fax over TWO DOCUMENTS to my Credit Union and my insurance agent. They couldn't even do this. So what followed was basically an entire day of calling the insurance agent and Credit Union to find out if they had received anything yet. MetroWest didn't know what "paperwork" meant, so I had my agent call them. She left a voicemail, so I called Metrowest back, at the SAME number she used. Bob said "No, we don't have an answering machine. It just rings and rings." So I told him to call my agent, leaving a DIRECT LINE to her desk. Bob calls me back within minutes saying, "Yeah that's not a direct line, and every extension I press leads to voicemail." But FINALLY, we got everything squared away. I could pick up the car, and breathe a sigh of relief, right? TOTALLY WRONG. As it turns out, they gave me the wrong title, voiding the loan. Also, they don't have the car I intended on buying (56,000 miles), instead selling me a car with a reported accident. I hope this place gets shut down. read more

This is such a shady business. They get cars from the auction and do not put any money into them. I had started financing a vehicle from them, went to get a sticker and it barely passed on the tires. Its the middle of winter i have 2 children they couldve put tires on my 12k doller vehicle considering that's the only thing it needed . No the guy says they're fine they'll pass . He said the best he could do is mount tires if i got them. I got tires went back to have them mounted waited 2 hours to have the mechanic come out n say that I'm a have to come back tomorrow because they do not have any tire lube. Helloooo its called soapy water ! . So i brought it back to get them mounted because i did not have the money to do so because I'm trying to pay for other bills. His mechanic ripped 2 beads on my tires one had a huge bulging bubble on it and the other leaked air slowly. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY OR BRING A VEHICLE FROM THEM AGAIN !! stay far away from these scam artists . I never had a chance to work with them, because two phone calls I have made to this company have been horrific. I needed to get my inspection sticker for my car and all the websites (including the MA DMV site) lists this site as eligible to obtain an inspection sticker. When I called they told me they would only give me one if I purchased a car from there and just said if I didn't, "we won't do it". I honestly believe this place deserves negative stars. was the worst car buying experience we have ever had. First of all the owner Eugene kept bugging us to pick up the car. When we got there the car was not even ready. Mind you its a 45 min drive to the dealer. When we went to get the inspection sticker the check engine light came on and some codes popped up. 2 mechanics checked the codes and said to get it fixed or return the car, which the attorney generals office said we can, its the law but, Eugene said we could not. We brought the car back to him, he plugged in the computer and said the check engine light was not on and there were no codes. Basically he reset the check engine light. We then had it checked a 3rd time from a honest mechanic and he said the codes were still there. Very shady. We will be filing a complaint with the attorney general office and he will be getting a visit from the worcester PD for not abiding the laws. We said if the car needed alot of work we would want our money back and he said many times we couldnt. Even though twice the attorney general office said he had to or he would lose his license. I was very specific when looking for my new car. I am always sceptical about smaller dealerships and espcially mechanics lol. Metro west auto sales had a 2015 200 crystler S with extremely low milage, factory warenty and most impressive, it was $3,000 under the KBB value. (seemed too good to be true) but... The staff was wonderful to work with, extremely helpful and friendly. They have a great extended warranty program and cover and issues, should they arrise. (i was nervous because why would they be selling this car for so cheap? There had to be issues...)thankfully there were none. I was assured that they are able to sell their cars at such a good price because they are a smaller dealership and their outstanding relationship with their vendors. They helped me with the financing I needed and got me a great interest rate. They also have a great service department where I have continued to bring my car for service and oil changes. I have recommended them to several of my friends looking for cars and would buy from them again in the future. I can honestly say that I was very impressed with how they handled every aspect of the transaction. I'm not the type of person to waste my time doing reviews but I was very happy with everything and im a strong believer in supporting smaller local businesses.
