This is a great business! Highly recommend. My mother is elderly and hard of hearing but they make everything so easy for her. She appreciates being able to rely on them. Prices seem very fair. read more

Was quoted a certain price 125$ for a service and when brought in on appointment date the following week , one mechanic complains he will try then sends another mechanic to say the price will now be 200$ because they have to use the torch . Basically a WASTE of TIME cause I was quoted 180$ by this other place in Shrewsbury and below 200$ at another place in Holden read more

I took my car in to repair a power steering fluid line leak by my front passenger-side tire. I paid $50 for the repair. The next morning, power steering fluid was all over my driveway. I took the car back to Gerardi's. They fixed it. A few days later the power steering fluid leaked again. One of the mechanics wanted to charge me for fixing it the second or third time until the tall mechanic intervened. Last week, my engine started spewing smoke from under the hood, near the passenger-side windshield. The cap to the reservoir for the radiator fluid was off, and couldn't be attached. The reservoir was empty. I paid $181 to Gerardi's to fix it. The next day, I was in a parking lot after driving maybe 10 miles. The car wouldn't start. The radiator reservoir was empty and there was fluid on the engine. I had the car towed to Gerardi's. They kept it two days and charged me $215 to fix it. When I challenged them on the second repair, they became obnoxious. I will not be going back to Gerardi's. read more

Got the name of garage from Assumption Parent website. They were very helpful with all of my questions and was able to get car towed their off hours and drop off keys. Despite the fact they said they were backed up with work, car was repaired in two days. Honest and fast!!!! Yes will come back but hopefully wont need to soon. read more

Gerardi's is wonderful. I have been going to them for the past 3-4 years and the guys working there have remained honest, friendly and very skilled. I have had a steady run of old cars that need many tweaks and fixes to keep them on the road. Gerardi's has always been there to offer sound advice, fast assistance, and knowledge about what is going wrong. As a grad student with a limited budget, they have been helpful in telling me what absolutely needs to be fixed and what may require monitoring or eventual fixing, allowing me to plan ahead and keep moving (pun intended). I highly recommend these guys! read more

Bruce is one of the nicest people in this business. The rest of his staff is great, too. He helped me with a flat tire today and it was so kind of him. He never forgets to ask me about my family and is all-in-all a good guy. They also do great work for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!!!! Only one caveat - parking is tight. Otherwise, this place is great read more

Sorry Gerardi's but I will never be using your service center again. I went here for an oil change and a MA state inspection for my Subaru and when they attempted to install a new cabin air filter (that they eventually said they couldn't do unless I wanted to pay 10 extra dollars) they broke my glove compartment. When I questioned them about it, they denied it. It's cost me 84 dollars for a special part to get the darn thing fixed after they broke it. The guys were friendly but they broke something in my car...you might want to think twice. read more

This shop is nothing short of awesome. I've had engine trouble twice in the last six months, and the turn-around time has been unbelievable. I dropped my car off at 7:30am, and just got a phone call that it was fixed. They're always so friendly and approachable. I would really recommend them to anyone. read more

I have been bringing our two cars here for years. The guys are always very friendly and accommodating. However, I am rating them two stars because I've had a few too many instances when I bring the car home and there's still something wrong, or the job isn't complete, etc. I don't feel like the mechanics are intentionally trying to screw me over, I just don't feel like their work is particularly strong. Sorry to say because they're good people and the location is great, but I finally got sick of taking my car back and forth so I'm taking my business somewhere else. read more

Consider yourself warned I would recommend restricting your work to the old man. The son deliberately sabotaged my car The reason for this was because a customer who must have been a friend of the son almost hit me in the parking lot. He started waving his hands around and cussing like it was my fault. I told him to calm down. When i pulled my car in the garage the mechanic (son) was really rude to me and I didn't understand why at the time. Anyway I was there for an oil change. 3 days later my oil light came on and turns out the guy drained my oil and never filled it. Then a week later my car started spitting gas out when I was pumping gas. Turns out the guy had pulled some bs move and damaged EVAP hose /valve. This was a real freak move and this guy clearly has some head problems. Again the old mans great but that clown son of his is definitely one to avoid at all costs. read more

These guys are great!! I went to them for a second opinion and they were helpful, honest, fixed the problem, and didn't even charge me. I will never take my car anywhere else and recommend them to friends/family without hesitation. read more

Finding a good mechanic can be a stressful (and expensive) experience. I have had multiple cars over the years, and therefore multiple problems. I would always get overwhelmed when it came to repairs because I felt like I was getting screwed everywhere I went. A friend of mine referred me to Gerardi's a few years ago, and now I won't bring my car anywhere else. They are efficient, kind, and most importantly: honest. Their prices for labor are totally fair, and they provide quality work. I recently called to inquire about some repairs on my car, and one of the guys talked to me for over 20 minutes about all of the options I had available to get my car in tip-top shape at the lowest possible cost. I have always been impressed, but this was just another example of them going out of their way to provide the best possible service. I just asked a simple question and I got a fully detailed answer that broke everything down for me in terms that I understood. These guys are great. For as long as I own a car, I hope Gerardi's is in business! read more

these guys are wonderful, gave us a free estimate on what it would take to get our aged Civic to pass inspection, and have done some inexpensive patching on it in the meantime. they are timely, quick, and friendly. read more

Truly one of the best. I went there because I thought I had to get my entire windshield fluid wiper assembly (sorry, have no idea what it's actually called, my wiper fluid wasn't working) fixed and I wanted an estimate. Okay, I wanted a better estimate than the $400 I had been quoted. They looked at it and instead of ripping me off, they told me what was actually wrong and repaired it for $30 (that's right, thirty) dollars. It's been almost a year and my wiper assembly whatchamacallit all works just fine! read more

I don't trust anyone with my car other than the Gerardi's! Best prices, quality work and caring people.

My family has been taking our cars here for as long as I can remember! Bruce is the nicest guy....your cars in good hands with him!

I have nothing but praise for the people there and the service they provide. When my tire went flat, they filled it up so I could get to meeting then, when I came back, took it off to check for leaks. NO CHARGE. When they do need to do work on my car, it is so inexpensive I do a double take to make sure they didn't leave anything off the bill. The guys are friendly, honest, attentive, and good at what they do read more

When Bruce is in the shop and working on your car, you're in good hands for sure. He's considerate, honest, and won't take you for a ride. When Bruce is NOT in the shop, the other guys there aren't nearly as thorough and you might go back 3 maybe 4 times for the same issue. Not good. Not cost efficient. I recently had an issue with a my exhaust, which they wouldn't, in the end touch. Glad they didn't because they didn't really even LOOK to see what the issue was and it turned out to be something much smaller and less expensive. I had been going to this shop since I bought my first car, and never had a problem with quality or service until Bruce started taking a (well earned) step back from the business. He's built a great name for himself in the hood and across the city. It's a shame that it's slowly being chipped away due to poor service and attention to detail. read more

My family has been going to Bruce for years. He is thorough and very fair prices. Anthony is great too!

I used to trust these guys with both my Toyotas. I brought my car to get new tires inspection sticker and an oil change. When I picked up my car after work I noticed my rear bumper was cracked. I questioned them the next day and the young guy and Bruce gave me a sob story saying "an elderly women backed up into it" he offered to give me a discount of $250 or that the "lady" is going to pay to get it fixed. I told him I would like it fixed so I waited for him to let me know when I could bring it. He called me and gave me a date. But the day before a client of mines told me the truth behind how my car got hit. One of the workers from Gerardis was moving a car and ended up rear ending my car and another truck. I was pist off because I trusted these guys and they went and lied to me about what happened. So it's been months since this has happened and I haven't gotten a call on what they plan on doing. I will NEVER give them my services again. I will be bringing this to court since they don't own up to the damage and has neglected the situation read more
