We called a number of places to get these floors done, but when we found David, everything became a breeze. He worked with us on price, was patient with our decisions, helped navigate a combination of wood and tile, and once we set the cost, he didn't upcharge me as the work continued. The floors came out beautiful, and David is truly a man of his word. He will take care of you, and has a high standard for how their team performs. Would recommend them to family and friends, no question. And they finished a week earlier than expected. What more could we ask for? read more

Reached out to David based on strong reviews on Yelp and so glad that I did. He was very responsive and answered all of my questions. I could tell immediately that he was very experienced and we soon scheduled the work. David is a detail oriented person who takes pride in his work and the end result was superb. I am remodeling a house in preparation for rental and the flooring that David suggested for the project more than exceeded expectations. In combination with the perfectly executed install I have no doubt that I should be able to get top dollar. I would highly recommend David and his team for your next project! read more

I definitely recommend you hire David and his crew. David responded quickly and came by for a consultation the next day. He helped keep the project within our budget and even coordinated with the wood provider to help with logistics--we had new floors leveled and installed within a week of reaching out. (It would've been faster but we needed to give the wood three days to acclimate to the room.) Really good guys all around. I'll gladly hire them to do the rest of the house. read more

SPECTACULAR service! David and his team turned an absolute nightmare into a dream for us. The remediation company that came in after the Altadena fire ruined our floors and I thought they could never be repaired. David came in, knew exactly what to do, set up a fast paced schedule, a fair price and got right to work. They were very sensitive to our situation, and worked overtime to make sure we could get back in our house on schedule, which meant the world to us. The result was more beautiful floors than I ever thought we could have, especially given the damage that had been done. I can't thank Lam Flooring or recommend them highly enough. I am so glad for having Lams Flooring to bring a new look to my floors. I had four offers before I chose this contractor. All others were very expensive but the Lams' estimate $$ was so reasonable that I couldn't pass it over. The contractor was so courteous! Boy! Did I make the best decision ever?? Here are few reasons: 1. Cost of the materials is absolutely low enough to afford. 2. Quality of the work is absolutely TOP. 3. Work ethic was respectable. 4. Communication was fast and punctual. 5. "After Work clean up" was amazing. They cleaned and shined everyday. Even my driveway was cleaned each day just like nothing happened. I strongly recommend the Lams Flooring for those who want to change their floors. read more

Working with Lam's flooring has made our lives easier. Thanks to David and his crew, we were able to remodel all the floors in a 2-story Townhome quickly. David was very responsive every time when we had questions. David was also flexible to accommodate our requests while his team was providing great quality of work. Specifically, Peter and Fernando were very detail-oriented and took good care of our home. Oscar who demolished the old tile was very careful but expeditious. We had a major issue of uneven floor, but they delivered a great solution and leveled it very nicely. We are very satisfied with the final product. We highly recommend Lam's Team for anyone that needs their flooring to be done! 1. Reliable, easy to reach, responsive and efficient. We contacted Lam for a quote to get our place flooring done, Lam came right away to our place to give an estimate and have his team started working on it the next day! Lam also went above and beyond to help accommodate our request too: he was willing to meet on Saturday to show us the flooring color. Lam always takes the time to answer any questions I may have, and provides me with all the options available. His worker, Fernando, works really hard, provided excellent service too! 2. Excellent skills: We needed to have the floor leveled, which needed a lot of grinding and extra concrete to level up. It's a challenging job and not a lot of flooring teams are willing to take this job. But Lam's team did a truly exceptional job! 3. Price is fair! The price that Lam's quoted is fair and good! The quality of work is exceptional too! Overall, we cannot be happier to have Lam's did our flooring! read more

Words can't describe how satisfied I am with my new floors. David, the owner of the company, is very professional, has great communication, and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. His worker Fernando worked solo on this project, and he completed the job within 4 days. It was amazing to see him break down the previous floors and build the new. David stopped by and checked on the project during the whole process. On Day 4, the worker Oscar came and helped assist with the crown molding, and he also did an amazing job. The floors definitely made a big difference in my home, and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for great services, nice flooring, and time management. My wife and I are first time homeowners and this was our first flooring project. We are so lucky to have found Lam's Flooring. David was patient, accommodating and knowledgeable. After we reached out, he came over the next day and gave us a quick and accurate quote. He provided several options for flooring and baseboards and even let us come to the warehouse to see the full selection of finishes. This was high quality luxury vinyl planks at a very reasonable price and along with it came high quality work. David's team did whatever it took to get the job done in three days, as promise. What a wonderful find! Remodeling is stressful enough, but when you find a company and people who offer great prices and phenomenal service, it's like finding gold. We were still debating on whether or not, we wanted to redo our flooring and upgrade to vinyl planks. We called David, and he was super responsive and showed up the very same day, even though it was a Saturday night. The price was great, the material was great, and he was able to do it in the time frame that we wanted. He even went above and beyond and delivered our molding the day before so we could paint them before installation. This experience was amazing and our floors turned out great. I just wish all contractors were the same way. Thank you so much, David. Highly recommended. A+. read more

David and his team installed our first ever hardwood floorings and I cannot say much more than it was done PERFECTLY. The hardwood floors look amazing and better than what we had ever thought. He promised a perfect job and delivered on that. Prior to installation, David walked through our house to inspect our concrete slab foundation and explained some of the extra work that would need to be done since there were areas in our kitchen that weren't level and needed filling in. We already knew from doing some research that this would have to be done and we appreciated him explaining what could happen if he just installed things without making sure everything was level. Because we weren't 100% sure what we wanted to go with, David brought some samples of different wood because we weren't. He gave us some good pointers on type of wood, size/width, and other general aspects of flooring that we would've never considered. After buying the materials, David had it delivered, inspected it, and unloaded it into the house himself. During installation, David kept us updated on the progress with pictures and let us know that he'd finish ahead of schedule (originally about a week). He also helped us source and install the baseboards and matching quarter rounds. After installing, he cleaned up and helped us cover the floors with x-board as we still had other renovations to do. Overall, we are very glad we went with David and have no regrets. He was very thorough in educating us about flooring so we could make the best decision on materials for our house and throughout installation. David treated our house with the same care as his own, especially as this is our first home. He was always prompt and responsive to our questions, which we had many. You can tell he is very proud of his workmanship and he is someone you can be 100% confident in entrusting your hardwood floors to. read more

We just installed new floors in our house with Lam's Flooring, and I cannot thank David and his team enough. We just finished last night, and all I can say is, what a great experience. We called David to set an appointment to get a quote, and he was at our door 45 minutes later! Samples at the ready, measuring and inspecting things. David is no-nonsense but still very professional, kind, and patient. It is clear he has done this for a long time and knows what he is doing. His quote was far below what others quoted us and included a lot of extra demo and work that others did not and his flooring was far superior to every other contractor or store. He quoted a timeline of 7-8 days and completed the job in half that time while still maintaining quality. His team was fast, friendly, and detailed. They did not cut a single corner and worked hard to ensure everything was done right. His team is clearly experienced and good at what they do. We are very happy with the result and all that David did to go the extra mile for us! If you are looking to get your floors re-done, I cannot recommend Lam's flooring enough. David took so much of the stress off my shoulders, and I am so grateful for that. My husband and I have been saving for a while to do this and dreading the process, but David and his team made this as easy as possible for us, and now we have beautiful floors that will last for many years to come. I am so happy with the new flooring. I hired Lam's Flooring to sand and refinish my kitchen, dining room and living room red oak floors. David is very easy to work with and provided an estimate after an in-person measurement appointment. His bid was very competitive and he was able to schedule the job in advance to meet my scheduling requirements. The work was done over the course of two days, finishing a bit earlier than expected, even accounting for repairing some unexpected water damage under the refrigerator. The first day of the job they helpfully moved a few larger items, including the refrigerator, which were beyond my own ability. The final product is absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be more happy with the result. I would not hesitate to hire them again. read more
