Great store! They have a wide selection of indoor/outdoor lights, fans, vanites, chandeliers, etc. They have very helpful employees. I cannot speak higher of this store's layout and selection. We were looking to replace the 30 yo lights on the exterior of our house. Our old ones were a combination of plastic and cast iron. Over 30 years of SD sunshine and weather, the plastic was brittle and the metal parts were corroding. We looked at Lowe's and Home Depot, but the selections weren't exactly what we were looking for. We did a quick search on yelp and found this chain of highly rated stores. Here they had clear glass, fogged glass and weathered glass varieties of outdoor lighting. As well as a variety of shapes, sizes and collections in the event you would like a matching wall, hanging and/or post light. We were extremely satisfied with our purchase and the assistance given. They did not have the exact number of lights we needed, but they have so many locations, the additional lights were shipped to us at no extra cost. read more

We visited the store but did not see what we wanted, however Pal assisted us and recommended a couple of chandeliers from their online selection which we liked. He also recommended the bulbs for the lighting we required for each chandelier which we were able to purchase in the store. With a deadline of receiving the fixtures and having them hung within a week Pal made sure they were in stock and would be shipped within a couple of days. Everything came together and was accomplished in our time frame. We love the chandeliers and the type of lighting each one offers us for our needs. Thank you Pal! read more

I was in need of two lamps for my living room and have always loved this store. I'm not good at getting a feel for this online so I took a picture of my living room to the store. My sales person, Christine Miller, helped me pick out two that really worked out well for my space. She got my the right bulbs and carried my items out to my car. As soon as I start looking for pendant lights, I saw Suzanne and told her I needed her to rescue me! I had been looking for five pendant lights for weeks! I showed her pictures of my home, and then we went to look at the displays. When we didn't find what we needed, she headed over to the computer as I strolled the store. In a few minutes, she had several choices for me to look at! She nailed it! I kept going to one of the first light fixture she had shown me, and I knew that my search was over! I was extremely grateful for her gentle help. I now have five light fixtures that I am thrilled to get as we repaint our entire upstairs! read more

Christian was really awesome to work with. He spent a lot of time in the store with me to help find a chandelier within our budget and style preference. We couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so he continued the search on his own. He emailed me the next day with a solution for purchasing a floor model that would put the chandelier exactly in our price range and it fit our style perfectly. I really appreciate his hard work and creative solution. read more

Jennifer at the Oceanside store off Vista Way was absolutely amazing. I needed some help with a part for an existing lamp purchased from them and she was so great to come up with a solution. To be clear the electrician that installed the lamp dropped a part and no where to be found - it bounced and rolled off into the sunset. I am sure it will be found when I move read more

I have been looking for 2 chandeliers and spent a lot of time on the Lamps Plus website. Finally decided to go to their showroom and see some of the lamps I was interested in, in person. I was disappointed in the lack of attention I got from the staff. They were not very busy on a Monday, yet I was totally ignored for the 30 minutes or so I was in their store. I asked one question and got a brief one-word answer without any eye contact. Although they have some nice lamps, I didn't have a good feeling about this place so decided to put my plans aside for now, and look elsewhere in the future. read more
