First time visiting this store and Christine Miller welcomed me with a smile and asked if she could help. I needed one brass flat finial and switch knob. She said, no problem, I'm sure I can find you something, I walked the entire store and learned they have decor, pillows and furniture. I was amazed at their selection of all lamps & lamp-related items. I even got a a referral for someone local that does lamp repairs since they don't. I was shopping for bathroom vanity lights online. I needed to get a vanity light with at least 3000 lumens. I couldn't sort lights by lumens online and couldn't find what I wanted. I decided to try Lamps Plus. Jennifer helped me and was able to find the right style of light with the right brightness. As it turned out, when it came time to install the light, one of the shades was cracked. Jennifer was able to immediately replace the lamp, and my remodel project was not delayed. If I had shopped online, I would have been lucky to get a replacement in one week. Lamps Plus had excellent selection, expert help, and after sales service. Great store! They have a wide selection of indoor/outdoor lights, fans, vanites, chandeliers, etc. They have very helpful employees. I cannot speak higher of this store's layout and selection. We were looking to replace the 30 yo lights on the exterior of our house. Our old ones were a combination of plastic and cast iron. Over 30 years of SD sunshine and weather, the plastic was brittle and the metal parts were corroding. We looked at Lowe's and Home Depot, but the selections weren't exactly what we were looking for. We did a quick search on yelp and found this chain of highly rated stores. Here they had clear glass, fogged glass and weathered glass varieties of outdoor lighting. As well as a variety of shapes, sizes and collections in the event you would like a matching wall, hanging and/or post light. We were extremely satisfied with our purchase and the assistance given. They did not have the exact number of lights we needed, but they have so many locations, the additional lights were shipped to us at no extra cost. read more

I have been looking for 2 chandeliers and spent a lot of time on the Lamps Plus website. Finally decided to go to their showroom and see some of the lamps I was interested in, in person. I was disappointed in the lack of attention I got from the staff. They were not very busy on a Monday, yet I was totally ignored for the 30 minutes or so I was in their store. I asked one question and got a brief one-word answer without any eye contact. Although they have some nice lamps, I didn't have a good feeling about this place so decided to put my plans aside for now, and look elsewhere in the future. read more
