At first, I was skeptical about putting lights on the house, but once they were done, I realized it was probably the best investment we made for the house. From the beginning, modern light scapes walked us through everything. Jason came by to give us a sense of where the lights would go, explained that they would be in and out and about one day, and gave us a fair price for the job. Jason stayed in communication the entire time and followed up regularly. We finally took the plunge and I couldn't be more satisfied with the way that our house looks! The installers were excellent. They were professional, they were quick, and walked us through everything. We literally have the nicest house on the block. The lights come with an application that allows you to pick different themes, including sports teams, holidays, general, warm, and white, lighting, and just about any other pattern you can think of. Our house looks great and I highly recommend modern lightscapes. As a bonus tip, they are licensed, bonded, and insured read more

We have young kids, so we wanted to invest in something meaningful that would bring our family joy and lasting memories--and exterior decorative lighting turned out to be the perfect choice. After doing plenty of research and comparing quotes from several companies, Modern Lightscapes stood out immediately. From the very first meeting with Doug, who impressed us with both his deep knowledge of decorative lighting and his friendly, approachable demeanor, we knew we were in good hands. When it came time for installation, John, Jake, and Rob were fantastic--professional, detail-oriented, efficient, and an absolute pleasure to work with. The finished product exceeded our expectations. The fixtures are barely noticeable during the day, but at night they completely transform our home. The Jellyfish app is incredibly easy to use and lets us instantly switch our exterior lighting to fit any occasion--Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, and more. It has already created so many fun family moments, and we know it will continue to do so for years to come. This is easily one of the best investments we've made for our home. Once our backyard project is complete, we're already planning to add more lighting with Modern Lightscapes. As they say, you get what you pay for, and this company is worth every penny. If you're considering them, don't hesitate--just read the other glowing reviews or check out their website. read more

From the initial consultation and measurements to the install, the customer service was TOP NOTCH. They were fast, reliable, efficient, responsive and more reasonably priced than their competitor. They installed permanent outdoor led lighting on our home. My husband hates hanging Christmas lights every year yet they bring me so much joy. This was a perfect compromise. It's so fun to change the light colors and patterns for the different holidays. We also use the white lights on off seasons which looks beautiful and keeps our home well lit to deter intruders. We love our lights and highly recommend this company you won't be disappointed. My pictures don't do them justice. read more

We had a fantastic experience with Modern Lightscapes from start to finish! Debbie was wonderful--she guided me through the entire process, answered all my questions, and made everything easy to understand. From the first time I reached out to installation, the whole process only took about three weeks. Our installers, John and Jake, did an amazing job. They installed our Jellyfish Lights in just one day, even during a heatwave, and handled a tricky WiFi connectivity issue on the spot until everything was working perfectly. They also went above and beyond to match our home's color scheme so that the wiring and tracks blend in seamlessly--you can hardly notice them during the day, which we really appreciate. The lights look beautiful, the installation is flawless, and the entire team was professional and friendly throughout. I couldn't be happier with the results and will definitely be recommending Modern Lightscapes to my neighbors! read more

As we get older putting up our Christmas lights has become a chore. Modern Lightscapes to the rescue. They sell a Made in USA permanent lighting system that is energy efficient and adjustable to any colors you want. A very polite efficient expert came to our home to give us an estimate and mapped out how and where the lights and electrical would go. The lights are plugged in our garage, no hardwiring required. The lights themselves are hidden in a rail under the facia eves. From the street the lights are virtually invisible. Today a crew arrived to install the lights. They were right on time, polite and efficient. I was consulted on any last minute decisions and they got to work. 6 hours later I was briefed on the app that controls the system. It's a very friendly app, anyone can do it. For now we are using the white lights for security lighting but we can change to any holiday colors, sports teams etc with preprogrammed patterns. We feel the cost is worth the safety of security lighting and convenience of easy holiday lights. Definitely recommend the product and the service. read more

We are extremely happy with our house lights from Modern Lightscapes! We love being able to create all the different colors and patterns. The installation team was fantastic and very friendly. I am the posterboy for permanent lights. I had a bad fall from a ladder after taking down Christmas lights. As such, I looked for a permanent solution which allowed the lights to be conspicuous as well during the daytime. Jellyfish was the only option I found when researching however I found multiple distributors. In the end Debbie and Jason were upfront and honest about the whole process and provided fair pricing. Their installation crew was efficient and courteous. I would highly recommend their company to anyone. read more

My husband and I came across this company at the San Diego Home show in January, 2024. I had been looking at finding some permanent lights that were discreet for the house for holiday lighting. After meeting with them at the home show we decided to get an estimate. They followed up in a timely fashion. There was no high pressure sales when they did come out. They had great ideas. We decided to proceed with the Jellyfish Lighting system and we had them installed very quickly and professionally. They look phenomenal and we love the lights. We go out every night and just look at all of the different options. We will definitely be using them for different occasions this year and especially in December for Christmas. It is also easy to use. Jason Zinn and his team were so great. We can't recommend this company or system enough! read more
