I am a big fan of several locally owned coffee shops in the Spokane area. There are many good ones to choose from. But Lalozy is the top of the cake. The coffee is so delicious. The owners are as sweet as pie. Super friendly! Really kind. Supporting local business is important and this wonderful establishment deserves all the support. The building is really adorable. Looks like a stretched out coffee stand. It makes the appearance very appealing. They also sell Asian food, which I haven't had the chance to try yet, but that is high on my list. Tough rating but here is why... I was looking forward to grabbing some lunch because it had impressive reviews. I also opened the link to their homepage and read this, "Call ahead to have it ready or if you don't mind waiting, you can sit and take in the aromas of your delicious dishes being cooked." When I arrived at the drive up I ordered a #1, and the gentlemen asked if I had called in an order and I said no. I then said I was willing to wait. As I parked and made my way to go inside and "take in the aromas", he indicated this was not a sit down and eat place. He was not rude at all but simply trying to explain their business model. I'm not sure where I was supposed to sit and take in the aromas unless I was going to sit in my car, open the window and hopefully catch a wayward breeze from the kitchen. Seems it was bad communication, from their website to our brief interactions. I would suggest removing from your website everything after, "Call ahead to have it ready." I wish I could give this a rating for the food but I can't. I have tried twice to go here for lunch but both times they were closed. It was Wednesday at 1:00. I called ahead and no one answered but there was a message saying they were open at 5 and close at 7pm. They are closed between 2-3:30 for "restocking". I assumed maybe they were busy with orders so went anyway. Closed. Terribly business practices. I suggest changing your message if you are not going to be open on your " open hours". Dont advertise that you are open on the internet and on your voicemail if you aren't actually open. I had called from 330pm until 430pm, voicemail said they are open until 530pm, their website says they are open until 6pm. Voicemail said to call back if they don't answer because they are preparing an order, I'm sure it doesn't take an hour to prepare an order. False advertising, you suck! Really nice fella cookin' up decent Asian fare in a 40 x 15 shack with 4 drive up/thru areas. Sounds crazy, but his food is good. My gals greatly enjoyed their entrees (S&S Chicken/Stir-Fry Beef); however, you really must consider finding this place to have his Egg Rolls. Exquisite. To me, they are a cross between Filipino Lumpia and traditional Chinese rolls. He uses very thin wrapping, yet makes them thick enough to give an awesome crunch, with a perfectly cooked treat inside. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a lifetime of talented hands making these amazing rolls. As other's have said, it's darned tricky to find. Just know it's between the Mobil station and the Rock Bar & Grill on Trent. Might not be a destination for some, but if you are in the area it would be more than worth the effort. I tried out this place because of the reviews, but my opinion it was just okay. I like my noodles thick and juicy lol and these were very little and thin and dry. Our favorite place for Chinese food, especially the egg rolls and generals chicken. We have started ordering the egg rolls by the dozen since they freeze well and then heat up in 15 minutes in the oven. We live on the South Hill so usually take plates with use and eat at a nearby park so that the chicken stays crispy. Be sure to call ahead because it takes from 20 minutes or more for the food to be prepared. read more

It is a drive through coffee stand that also has EXCELLENT Chinese food, one of the best in Spokane. It can get busy, especially around closing time. Can't say enough good things about this place. Your Drink is given tender loving care each and every time. They also won't hesitate to make special requests, my girlfriends favorite is the Chocolate Huckleberry iced Coffee, which I must admit is pretty dang tasty. I go more for more plain drinks apparently like a Chocolate Mocha or Chai tea, and the owner always gives me playful guff about it and requests to make it more special, which I have never regretted letting him do. At first, I wasn't really even hopeful due to the fact that this place is just an over sized coffee stand that dishes out asian foods but I was wrong! We were greeted by an older asian lady (maybe the owner) who was more than helpful in choosing food to order. My husband is vegetarian and she was more than courteous and helpful. She serves up your order right there, fresh! And VEGANS? the tempeh is amazing! Its around $9 a plate and that includes a heaping serving of rice. I will return and recommend you do too!
