Since the compartments were locked, someone has a key and access into this storage facility so they go to whatever RV's their keys will unlock and take whatever they want. The first time this happened, I reported it to Midgard and their only response was to tell me to make a police report and file a claim with my insurance. I don't think this is a very secure facility since they don't seem to be able to control this type theft. I have used maybe 6 other storage facilities for my RV over 8 years and have never been robbed within the facility. There is a reason the price was so cheap to rent here.

(I drove down from nyc) whatever you have to settle between yourselves and the college is not my concern. This situation has left me feeling very upset and luckily this is supposed to be my sons last year there. We emptied the unit and don't really care about whatever politics are happening between the college and your facility. It's not about the money.... It's about the students

I told here I wasn't going to argue with her and that she did not need my email address to rent me an appliance dolly. I said if you don't want to rent me the dolly I guess I can go somewhere else. She tossed my driver's license back at me and said she wasn't going to rent the appliance dolly to me. I called U-Haul and filed a complaint. The customer service person called the store and the U-Haul clerk said I cursed at her which I did not! The U-Haul store has plenty of surveillance it wouldn't be hard to verify my story! I live in Virginia and am in Leesburg Florida to pack up my deceased mothers house. It's a hard enough job with out having to deal with this extra hassle. I guess U-Haul thinks this is acceptable behavior.

We used the Climate Controlled storage for a large unit. The facility was clean and temperature…read moreseemed good over the summer. Downside to this location was accessing the climate controlled area through only one sliding door in the front of the building. It was very difficult to park a large moving truck or a truck and trailer, and for the most part only one large vehicle could access at one time. The sliding entry door would shut automatically and you have to continually use your access code keypad to open the door. If someone was loading/unloading it was difficult and time consuming to work around them with the one access door. Additionally, I used a pickup truck and enclosed trailer and the front parking lot was nearly impossible to turn around in if any other vehicles were in the parking lot, including the employees vehicle(s). Therefore, if you intend to use the Climate Controlled area make sure you check out the access area in the front, because that's it, no rear or side access.
