I apologize for underestimating the repair." They screw around with what is damaged and never make all the repairs in their quote, thus saving themselves money on parts. You continually have to check their quotes against others, wasting so much time and energy with their gamesmanship. We made it clear we were not going to use our insurance and since the car was 10 years old, we wanted the minimum required to make the car safe and drivable. We were assured this was a fair estimate. When we were waiting for a tow truck to take it to the other body shop in Toronto, for a second estimate, the manager said he could fix it for $2500 if we left it there or brought it back. The shop in Toronto is fixing it for $1700. Fix Auto may be acceptable if you are charging it to your insurance company, but make sure you get other estimates if you plan to pay yourself. I have had two small repairs and took both to their convenient location on Eastern Ave. The work was done as described and in the time expected. I find them very professional and would recommend them without hesitation for any type of auto body repair. Both times I went I only priced the job with them and both times I thought the price was a little high but since I didn't shop around I don't know if it was comparable to others.
