I called and they were able to fit me in, despite being busy and short-handed for the day. It took a little while because the car had to be towed but they still managed to fit me in. They were obviously busy when I arrived, with cars on every hoist, but they got me in after a short wait and diagnosed the problem - a broken suspension spring. Ughhh! The parts were ordered and it was just a matter of time now. Might as well check the brakes while the car was on the hoist. Darn, I needed brakes (pads and rotors)! I knew that but have been ignoring the screeching for a couple weeks. Ooops! Thankfully, with my sincere gratitude, all the work was completed, albeit after their regular closing time. Mind you I am very particular with my cars so I'll know if they have done a good job or not. The problem was that when they gave me the car, they had obviously spilled some sort of corrosive liquid on the hood. The paint had bubbled and cracked, not a small area either -- about the size of a donut. When I complained they went immediately into contentious mode. "It must have been the tow truck." Nope, I followed the tow truck in a second car all the time, nothing of the sort happened. "Well it was there before". Nope, I would have absolutely noticed this large of a blemish. "Well it didn't happen here." Well I'm a grown man with a family, a career, and a reputation -- I have no motivation to lie about this. "Then you'll need to come back tomorrow and hash it out with the mechanic". But I didn't have an arrangement with his employee -- my payment was to him as the owner. These are not honorable people. I recommend everybody stay away from this place.
