I took a picture of the bumper and emailed that to a few auto shops to get a quote. My usual ones quote me over $400 and said will be even more.. while most other quoted me around $320..So now it is time to try another body shop. The owner of this auto shop repairs car himself too... The place looks decent and he sounded honest and I decided to give him a try out of all the body shop lining up the area in bullock/laidlaw/heritage. The car got fixed on time (even before the time he promised), looks like new, car was washed, price as promised... I am so happy driving my own car again without trying to get rides from my friends! I hope I never going to a body shop again! But if I do need, I will definitely take it back to the same body shop...

I recently had a minor damage done to the lower section of the driver-side of my Accord bumper…read morecourtesy of a curbside wall "invisible" to my vision as I approached the parking pad. Great!. I left a significant dent to it as well as a pretty-good scrape to the paint. The dent measured about 5 inches in diameter. I also had a very small indentation on the car hood that was made from an unknown source. Just a dent (2 inches) and no paint issues. I received three quotes from three traditional auto body shops in the Toronto area including one recommended by my car mechanic of 30 years. They were all able to give estimates that were very similar ($1500-$1800) that would take about 15-18 hours to repair the damages. As a consumer, I could not understand why the estimates were so high and so much time was required. Yes, the bumper needed to be removed to be repainted. But having to replace all of the bolts, screws, etc.? So, I took a look at the industry where there was innovation. I found two companies, DentDoctor and AutoDent. DentDoctor (Leaside) said they could fix the bumper dent ($150) but couldn't do the work on the hood or repaint the bumper. They recommended that the work done at an autobody shop. AutoDent said no problem, $600 and done in two days. Marty (owner) and Alex were true to their word. Incredible craftsmanship. My wife was shocked at how beautiful the work was and how new the car looked. A minor car dent repair with inflated prices from the traditional auto body companies explains a great deal why insurance companies are stuck with increasing insurance premiums. AutoDent is great and worth every Loonie or Twoonie!

Their price is very competitive; almost 1/3 price lower than the quote we got from a body shop. We provide the credit card to order the glass ahead on time. Then the glass is replaced on the same day when the glass arrives. They deliver the fix nicely and we saved a lot of money. We are happy for all visits.
