I'll just start by saying I was having a horrible day, perhaps even week and I was stressed out about the notion of having to go pick monograms for 3 different gifts for a wedding (which I waited until the last minute to do admittedly) in 3 days! When I got there the man and women behind the counter immediately greeted me with a warm smiles. The women was very busy (and working hard) on some towels and the man was helping someone else. The lady stopped what I was doing to give me a place to set my three big bags. She kindly showed me to the style book and I started looking. I quickly became overwhelmed. Colors, styles, so many fonts, and sizes... By this point the man (Raz, I found out was his name, sorry to say I never found out the women's name) was done with his other customer and on to helping me. Raz was literally the most helpful and patient man ever! He was so thorough and willing to try multiple designs, he had such a positive attitude and even helped me not to stress, was totally into helping me with colors and sizes and placements, and holding things up and going back and forth between all 3 of my items. I couldn't have done it without him. He helped me so graciously with every aspect of these really important gifts. Even the lady got in on a few ideas when we both got a lil stuck between ideas. And all the while he said it was simply just his job. I'd say he went over and above! Anyways I dropped off Wednesday, he quoted me Friday at 1, I got a call Thursday at 6:30p my things were ready for pick up! Great great experience. And you Raz, you really made my day! Horrible customer service. I have done business with them in the past and we agreed to a discounted price for future orders. I returned with another order soon after. They said give them a few days and they will make some examples. I returned to their store to look at the examples. I told them the price that Round Rock Embroidery offered me which was 60% cheaper and we could not come to an agreement price. I kindly asked for my belongings back and they rejected. They said I had to pay a 25% cancellation fee. I did not sign anything nor did they mention this to me prior to leaving the store the first time. I asked for my belongings many times and he told me on the work order it does not state what kind of uniforms I gave him. He said he is going to go to Walmart and buy the cheapest shirts they had and give those to me. Did I mention horrible customer service? After they raised their voice to me I asked them to calm down. There were other customers in the store and I didn't want to cause a scene. I also asked if they wanted to speak in the back or outside to avoid from other customers seeing this. He said, "They don't matter because they are returning customers." After all this I ended up paying the cancellation fee and taking my order to Round Rock Embroidery. With paying the cancellation fee and Round Rock's total I still did not pay as much as I would have at Lakeline Monogramming. read more

If there was an option for 0 stars I would choose that one. I took a Bible here to get my daughters name foil stamped on it for her dedication coming up. I called ahead, the man who works there said "it depends if we can do it, it depends on the Bible, I will have to see." I brought the Bible in and he said "oh yes, we can do that on this one." I paid for the service and came back a few days later to pick it up. When I looked at it, her name looked terrible. It looked ridiculous and there was no way I would give my daughter something so messed up for such a special occasion. I immediately asked for a refund (he also admitted that it was messed up) and he said "no, that is not our policy, sometimes they don't turn out." After a back and forth discussion he said he would call the owner of the store and see what he said and he would call me back that day. I did not hear from him. The next morning I called him and he then told me the owner would only give a 50% refund. Long story short, I am out 50% of what I paid for the foil stamping (which now I know was outrageously overpriced anyways....I called Mardel and they can do it for literally a fraction of the cost Lakeline Monogramming charged me.) AND the cost of the Bible I brought in that they ruined. Please do not give this place business. read more

Folks, I tried them for the first time this week. I initially walked in to ask some basic questions: - I'd like a monogram on a blanket that I will be buying, are there any constraints I should know about (material, colors, thickness, etc)? - What is the turnaround time if I bring you something today or tomorrow? They were busy and fulfilling orders, but took the time to kindly greet us and answer all my questions. I then found the blanket that I wanted for my 5-year-old granddaughter, and returned to the store. The process for working out the Monogram design/content/colors/placement was easy and they also gave some great recommendations based on their extensive experience. It was a great collaboration. They had all the fonts, colors, and extra designs...even suggested some little diamonds to sew into the heart shape. They gave me a pick-up date that was a week out...but called me in 2 days telling me that it was ready! When I returned to pick it up, they remembered us, and the lady was excited to show us their work. We were very impressed, the result is better than expected! Fast, easy, friendly! I will be giving them my business for monogramming and prints in the future. read more

first of all, I didn't know that there was a engraving store in Lakeline Mall other than things remembered... And the good thing was they are cheaper, much better and will work with you in detail unlike things remembered their stuff is very rude.. So thank God for another engraving place in the mall. I have been in this store couple of times just to see their work... and I am very pleased to say that every time i did something I was so thrilled and happy with the outcome... I got the weeding toast glasses done .... came out beautifully.... I did engraving on the back of my husband watch... I was really impressed how quickly and how good it looked... and I also did a photo t-shirt of my daughter picture saying " I love you grandma" on it .... I screamed when I saw the shirt and my mom cried when I gave this gift to her... Love the store and the people... very friendly, very detail oriented and very quick !!! Liars, Thieves, Shoddy Workmanship! DO NOT PATRONIZE THESE SLIMY CON-ARTISTS. Zero rating is not low enough. Let me provide a negative number rating. This place is a group of thieves and liars. Do not do business with them. They damaged my fine leather portfolio and did a shoddy job on the attempted embossing and then had the nerve to demand payment. They scraped the back of the leather leaving permanent marks. The embossing was not even complete and clear. They said they could do fine work and then produced crap. I requested a call and they did not return my call. I attempted to contact and Mohammed avoided my call. When I expressed my complaint he lied and then demanded payment for the botched job. This is not a way to run a business. Boycott them and make them go out of business! read more

Love this store! Everyone in there was friendly and very knowledgeable of how to create the look I wanted. I needed 12 formal dinner napkins monogrammed and desired it be elegant and classey. They were patient as I looked at various styles, thread colors and size of lettering. They called me when one was completed for final approval. My napkins are beautiful---prettier than other companies have done. I highly recommend them! I will be taking other items to them in the near future. I've been going to this business since they opened many years ago. The owners are so kind and friendly. They never cease to amaze me with their awesome monogramming whether it be on clothes, Stockings, or anything else. I recommend this business and these wonderful people to anyone wanting the absolute best quality work at reasonable prices. They cannot be beat. I have been looking for a shirt for my Grandson for Thanksgiving and cannot find one. I happened by Lakeline Monogramming and went in to see if they could make a t-shirt for me. The whole staff was welcoming and friendly. Razz helped me design the perfect shirt for my grandson. It is perfect and I only had to wait 30 minutes for the shirt. I have taken 2 different blankets to them to have monogrammed and even though they didn't have the font or look I wanted, they took a picture I sent and digitized it to give me exactly what I wanted. just picked up my second blanket and it is beautiful! For years I have monogrammed my daughters school backpack. Every year I go to the same place. Eventually she grew out of that. So now with a grand baby on the way I wanted to keep the same tradition and monogram her diaper bag. I looked for the same location upstairs and they moved downstairs with a bigger location. I wanted to get a logo engraved on my Yetti mug and they did it an amazing job!! I went Things Remembered and they said they can't do any art work/design/ logo on anything. There prices are very reasonable and do a amazing quality job. The engraver was very detailed oriented and his customer service was awesome!! read more
