I went to pick up and they forgot the RN letters. 2 days later went back again and the letters are not even aligned with my name. You can see it. Im so frustrated with this poor service. I took my daughter's American Heritage Girl's vest to them to have her badges sown on. They charged me over $7 a patch so the total came to over $100. When I went to pick it up I was horrified at the workmanship. I asked they redo quite a few because the stitching around some of the odd shaped patches went into the design of the patch, was uneven, and threads were poking out the front. The woman said it was very difficult to sew them on. I am not a sewer so I called my friend who knows more about it. She said they should know how to sew on patches, they should use clear thread on the multi colored ones and not try to sew around the complete design of the oddly shaped patches. But instead make straight sewing lines where they can to attach the patch. To top it off, they handed me her vest wadded up in a used plastic grocery bag, they didn't even press or hang it. I hope I can find another monogramming store to do this. They don't know what they are doing. I believe the man saw dollar signs when I walked into the store with all my patches and I told him I am not a sewer. I am going back today to pick it up, I have serious doubts they made it look any better. I hope I can get my money back on the bad ones and I plan on paying for the easy round patches. Absolutely Bad Customer Experience and complete unprofessionals. This store is run by Iqbal, Sami and Shiraz and these are the people who will dupe you with your money. They charge hundreds of dollars for boggy work and they justify it blatantly. A mere print on a T-shirt will cost u 5X times more than any other place. They charge more than the market price. I dropped off 8 passport covers to be customized before a girl's trip. I wrote the names down and the lady copied the names on the receipt and I verified them. When I went to pick them up no one was in the store but the store was open. I called out for assistance thinking someone was in the back. I waited at the counter several minutes. I called the store thinking they may have stepped out and taken the phone w them. No answer. I went to a kiosk outside of the store and inquired. One of the guys said she was in there another said she went to restroom and would be back. I went to another store and came back. Store still unattended. I called again and this time the lady comes running in to answer the phone with a bag as if she has been shopping. I explain that I am the caller bc the store was unattended. I had placed some things on that I had considered purchasing while I waited and she goes to ring them up. I explain I no longer want them and need to pick up my order I have already paid for. She gets them and I check them. My last name is wrong but all others are ok. I explain my last name is wrong (not even my name). She asked for my receipt for proof but found her receipt when I looked at her crazy and the receipt of course had my name. She said the owner was not present and asked if he could call me later or if I could come back. Since I live out of town I said no do she called him multiple times and sent pics of the receipt and my item. She could not reach him and asked what I wanted to do and I said refund of the $20 monogram fee and $15 for the passport cover. She says owner would need to approve. Asked if I could get another passport cover and bring it in. I explained I had ordered the covers online and did not have time to reorder and get it to them to fix before my trip and that I would still be out the cost of the passport cover. Owner called back and she explained the situation and he wanted proof of what I paid for the passport cover and me to produce a receipt. It was on my phone since I got it from Amazon but took a bit to load. 45 min to pick up my items and justify why I wanted a $35 refund of the $170 something I had spent in this business for their mistake. And they did not refund the tax on that. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They ruined one of my daughters suitcases by sewing the name too large and then ripping the stitches out to embroider it smaller. When I arrived to pick up the 5 suitcases she showed me the suticase and there was almost a hole in the big one. When I pointed it out to her she acted like I was seeing things and said she didn't see what I was talking about. This was absurd because ANYONE would have seen that they nearly put several holes in the front flap! I used to own an embroidery shop so I know you can tell this has been done by looking at the backside of the item and when I showed her this she said I was not correct and the bag looked fine. She finally got her husband to come talk to me and he admitted that his employee had indeed made a mistake and tried to fix it. I wanted my entire $75 back, but he only offered me $20 store credit. These bags cost me $200! I took the bags and left because I was in a hurry to get the suitcases home because they were for my daughters birthday that afternoon. Over Christmas we went to my moms in Alabama and the embroidery on one of the smaller cases began to unravel. I plan on taking the bags back to the store tomorrow and demanding my money back and to be reimbursed for the value of the suitcases which now have holes in them. I doubt I will get what I am asking for because they were so disagreeable the first time. Seriously, don't go here. They are sneaky and will try to get out of reimbursing you if they screw up something of value. read more

I took two jackets in to get college logos embroidered on the backs of each. We spent quite a bit of time laying out the sizes, locations, exact colors of thread, etc. Once I was convinced we had everything absolutely correct, I paid them and left. They called a few days later and I went to pick up the jackets. One was absolutely perfect. They pointed out that other one had been snagged on their machine so they agreed to add some lettering to cover it at a reduced price. It turned out very nice. I found them friendly and agreeable, but I can understand the other reviews. Spend the time to be specific and make sure they understand. If you're not sure they understand exactly what you want, don't leave until you are sure they do. This is my second visit to this shop and the first one was very well done. read more

Roz (pretty sure that's how he spells his name) is a gem! He helped me with multiple items for my wedding last year and again this year for an engraved cup for my dad's retirement. Super friendly and professional! Obviously goes without saying, but the work they do is really great. I highly recommend this place over Things Remember. I brought a necklace in that had 2 very small hearts that I wanted engraved. One name had 4 letters & the other 6 letters. The girl said that it would be 15.00. I gave her the info then she gave me the bill for 34.86. When I asked why it was double she said it was per heart. I was irritated because she didn't specify that. After I gave her my credit card I noticed she had actually charged me 16.00 per heart. It's just sad to me that being fair and honest is a quality that is rare in people. The ladies behind the counter were very patient while I asked to see multiple changes in the monogram font and with a few extra bucks I was able to get them returned same day (about an hr). So far so good... will update review after I receive the product. Get 10% off for reviewing. Update: I think I will leave it at 4 stars. I didn't read the reviews before I went and I was pretty worried after leaving. I have to say, though, that I really had no bad problems and was pleasantly surprised. I can see how people could feel some abrasiveness from the gentleman working there. However, he was fine with me. He was very matter of fact, but not mean and he was helpful. I thought the woman who helped me was very nice. I got bathrobes monogrammed for my children and it's looks good. My son has a long name and it's slightly crooked, but I had read past reviews and figured it's not a battle I wanted to fight: it's just a bathrobe, so he'll be wearing it crooked anyway. So a few things to note, They were very concerned about my yelp review. The gentleman didn't believe that I wrote it, but the wife/lady gave me the 10% off. When I came in to pick up my items they asked me to add to my review. Honestly, I almost didn't because I know they are reading it now. (Hello!) but at the end of the day, yelp is for future customers. It's so they get to hear about how a business is run and they can chose if that's where they want to spend their money. I felt I owed it to future clients to be honest. It's also so the business owners can see how they can better their business and retain customers, and build new clientele. I thought the store has so much potential. The front feels like it's a good starting point, but its little tired. Then you walk to the back where most of the business is happening and it feels a bit chaotic. It doesn't really give you a desire to shop their products. It's not inviting. But I guess most people have their own products they want to monogram anyway. The binder that shows the lettering is a bit old and worn out. I think it could be refreshed. I also think they could give pricing next to the lettering so your not totally blind sided by the prices. I thought they were pretty expensive. It was $17 to get a name monogrammed onto a bathrobe. I actually had brought backpacks because was going to get initials put on them and I had patches to put on the bathrobe also, but I didn't want to spend more than the $35 I was charged. Which felt like she plucked from the air versus having a clear pricing plan. As far as customer service goes, they saw me put the patches on the bathrobe and pull out the backpacks, they should have asked me if I was interested in getting more done there. It couldn't have hurt. And it's good customer service. So overall, the woman was very nice. They need clear, visible, pricing and over all it was very expensive. The whole bathrobe was $30 so to charge me over half the amount to just have a name put on it, seemed a little excessive to me. I don't know if I would go back. I would probably look into another place and their pricing first. read more

No matter if you are at a store purchasing an item or in a restaurant eating out, the experience is RUINED if the service is nonexistent. Quite frankly, I'm surprised this establishment is a store and not a pesky kiosk. My office purchased a customized t-shirt for a client Christmas gift. Not only did they say it would be ready before Christmas, they did not call until the week after. The shirt looked like an iron-on transfer pic I make at home. Actually, I can make better shirts then the one we received, just to emphasize the lack of quality. Typically, they would let you customize the font and preview before purchase and we did not get that opportunity, so when we received the finished product for $50.....yes $50....we were extremely disappointed. We ended up finding another print shop that made us the shirt with much better quality and half the price. I tried to return the shirt and was given the worst treatment. The man raised his voice, said NO RETURNS. He was instantly defensive, saying it was ridiculous that I would come in to return something customized while walking away from me. Seriously what businessman does that?!?! This store has absolutely no concept of good customer service, and on top of it provides very low quality customized shirts. So whatever you do, don't shop here. No customer deserves the treatment I experienced. read more

If I could give this a zero I would. The owners are nice upon meeting them but if you have any concerns or disagree with them at all, they are terrible and unwavering. After they tore through a top we had emroidered,he didnt replace the top ,then when took the replacement in,he raised the price almost 2 times the cost of the ones done in past years,they need to close down or Sami get her own shop and dont let him work there. I was in a hurry to get a fishing shirt monogrammed and ended up here because I had seen their store in passing at the mall. Well, I should have done my research! I took a brand new Columbia fishing shirt in there to get monogrammed on the back flap and we went over how I wanted it to be centered on the flap. Well, $29 and 2 days later, I came to pick it up. The monogram was off-centered and I asked does this look off centered, it's not centered above the Columbia PFG logo on the flap? The lady of the store got defensive and said no this is how you wanted it and it's centered. I left the store and went to my car to measure it with a business card, and sure enough, it wasn't centered. I walked back in and said I'm sorry but can you please explain how you measured this so that I can see your train of thought on how this is centered. She pulled out her measuring tape and low and behold, it wasn't centered. I asked for a full refund and she said no, what about my time that I spent working on this? I said that is not my problem. You have now ruined a $50 shirt. She then asked why I spent so much on the shirt. Her suggestion was to bring in another shirt and she would monogram for free. Lady, I'm not letting you ruin another shirt that still has tags on it! She offered to redo the monogram, but that you'd be able to see where the prior monogram was because of the hot pink thread. I was livid at this point and attempted to not scream and yell, because that gets you nowhere. I ended up leaving with half of my money back and a ruined shirt. Please, do your research and go to another monogram place. I would hate for a bride to bring in a handful of items to get monogrammed for her bridal party only to have the items ruined. read more

My boyfriend & I tried out Lakeline Monogramming for the first time yesterday evening. We both had a very pleasant experience! The staff was really helpful and assisted with fonts, font colors etc. MAJOR PLUS! We were able to bring in our own personal item to have monogrammed rather than having to purchase an item from the store. We had a name monogrammed to a bag for a bridal shower & paid $24. I was expecting it to be more so that was great! We asked what the turnaround time was & they told us if we wanted it done same day {within 45 mins} it would just be a $6 charge for rush. Still not bad considering we drove from South Austin & would spend that in gas money to get back up there anyway. Overall very satisfied with the product & definitely will return in the future. read more

Oh my gosh...when I decided $95 was too much for monograming three initials on two pillow covers, I was told by the sales woman, "You wasted an hour of my time. I am a paid employee..." She expected me to buy her time? She originally told me it would be about $60, still a lot, but I was willing to pay that. Part way through working with her, I just wanted to leave. I had my 3 year old son with me and could not think while being shown fonts. I was feeling as impatient as he was, and I am a very patient person. I came in with a picture showing what I wanted. The sales woman could not find a font similar to the one in the picture. I was counting on the store's "expertise". I got a gut feeling that if it did not come out the way I wanted, it would be my fault. At one point I said I would come back another time but she almost refused to let me go saying, "No, no..." When she finalized the order and I realized this was not worth almost a hundred dollars, I apologized saying I was sorry but I did not want to spend that much. Apparently, the price went from $60 to $95 dollars, simply because her husband, or the owner, said the monogram letters should be bigger for the pillow case than what the lady originally estimated. He also came to her defense saying, "Didn't she tell you what it would cost and you agreed?" In the end I felt badgered. I repeatedly asked for my cases back (I think I actually had to take them away). They continued to argue as I left saying I was sorry. Since I spent their time, they expected me to pay for that. Certainly not the way to do business! I was shaken leaving and my 3 year old could tell they were "mean" people. I felt so bad putting him through that with me. No fun! read more

Once again I would give this place a zero if I could. I have FOUR coozies embroidered and she said she could do it. I only had one letter done on each coozie (total of 4 letters) and she charged me $70 and I told her no way I'll go somewhere else she bumped it down to $50 and I accepted only bc I was on tight time constraints. A gentlemen calls me back the next day to say they can't and will have to use vinyl and it'll be an extra charge I said forget it and then he said it would be free. I picked them up 3 days later and the color was off and the vinyl looked terrible. All they did was argue with me and over charged me. Do not ever ever go there!!!! They are crooks!!!! read more
