I was looking to get a perfume bottle engraved for a wedding gift and stumbled upon Austin Engraving Solutions in a Google search. I called to see if engraving a pre-purchased perfume bottle was an option and after a quick details exchange, they said it was no issue at all and to bring it in whenever I was ready. When I dropped it off, the owner was so accommodating and had tons of ideas to make the engraving perfect. We ended up matching the font to the perfume name and filled it with silver to mimic the design as well. I was so happy with how it turned out and bride loved this personal touch! COVID Precautions: The business is run from the owner's house so while there aren't strict guidelines, I suggest wearing a mask out of respect. read more

Great quality work! Easy and quick. I did need to provide the font i wanted for a monogram on a knife blade. So i had an app bazaart i used to create the whole monogram the way i wanted with the last initial big in the middle. It looked great. In general I think if you have an example of what font and wording you want he can match it closely. read more

Neville is a pleasure to work with. We inquired about getting 40keychains engraved. He was able to get us a quote quickly and performed the engraving exactly as expected. Everything was centered and in line. His quote was more than fair and everything worked out. I dropped off the keychains on a Thursday and he had them done by Tuesday. Fast, efficient, and as expected. Thanks. read more

This shop owner, Neville, is very professional and uses the highest end laser machine for engraving. Despite the fact that I needed the engravings at the worst possible time (mid December) he was able to deliver a high quality engraving very quickly. He's also a kind human and a great communicator. I contacted via Yelp for a last minute gift engraving on a Yeti a few days before Christmas. He responded quickly within 30 min and said to come in the next day and he'll do it. I came in next day and had my beautiful engraved yeti within 2 hours max. Super quick response and turn around, especially for a last minute order--I was getting estimated 2 weeks turnaround at other engravers. He even added a special engraving inside my yeti for no extra cost. Highly recommend! Thanks:) read more

I've gotten a watch, a bottle opener, and 3 small heart shaped urns engraved here and every time I've walked away very satisfied. The urns engravings included hand drawn artwork of my dogs actual paw print. I bring everything I need to be engraved to Neville and I'm never disappointed. read more

I had a great experience with AES! My project was unusual - a custom-built lightsaber - with oddly-shaped parts in different materials. The reference artwork I had wasn't the best, either. But despite me not making it very easy, the end result is great, and working with Neville was a pleasure from beginning to end! Very responsive, fast work, and a super reasonable price. I'd definitely go back! read more

Updated: Ruined gift. After this review was posted the owner messaged me and offered to redo it, he payed for another cutting board (the exact same one from things remembered) I just had to pick up, now it looks marvelous and perfect my grandparents are going to love it thank you very much I was recommended this place of all from Things remembered, it was a Friday and we had a cutting board where I wanted to engrave a vine around my family name (vineyard) so I tell him what I want and how I wanted and asked him can you do it? He said yes. before also said I'll message you telling you when is ready probably Monday, well A week passed until Friday. I messaged him he responded saying "i said it will be done Monday" alright I sent my husband to pick it up and when I get home and see it.. oh lord he CHANGED THE DESIGN I CHOSE. why didn't he ask, why didn't he show me first, I have no idea but we ended paying $40 for something that looked nothing of our original idea. read more

Steve B. rarely leads anyone astray. I had a Zippo lighter I wanted to get engraved for a postdoc leaving UT and moving back to India. I searched for a place to do it, saw Steve's review and went to Engraving Solutions this afternoon. It's a small shop; Neville said "well, I can do this right now". And he did. And it looks beautiful. I thought I'd have to go to a snooty jewelry store and was so glad I found this place. Look at his website and the photos here. He can etch/engrave anything, and they all look beautiful. And he's a nice guy and fun to talk with. If you ever have a need for something like that, I highly recommend him. read more

Great work, fast and reliable, and as pleasant an artist as can be. We needed some promotional items engraved for an upcoming opening day event and Neville came through with a great idea and wonderful execution. The keepsake playing card bottle openers are unique and memorable, and sure to be a special remembrance of our opening day. The perfect engraving on these items led us to solicit Neville for a larger custom sign to hang in our new pub, and once again he did not disappoint. From small items to this very large sign, every detail is perfect. We will be proud to hang his work in our new pub. The tools and technology used to create these engravings are amazing, and if you get a chance, check out their videos. If you need something engraved, or especially if you need many items engraved, let Neville put his tools to the task and you will not be disappointed. read more

Excellent work. Very easy process: I decided on a font and marked out the location I wanted engraved with tape. Austin Engraving caught that what I'd marked was off-centered and fixed it. Turnaround time was super fast, less than 30 minutes. The price was very reasonable, and the man working was friendly. Would absolutely recommend and will be back for any future engravings. read more

Wish there were 6 stars! I wish I had known about Neville and his abilities to engrave Just About Anything, years ago. Here are some of the things that Neville has engraved for me, for my friends and family, this past year: Musical instruments, a steering wheel cover, lipstick tube holder, the soles of my wedding shoes, and things "The dog that has everything," my sunglasses and case, our headboard, my glass jewelry box, my girlfriends "90 day "recovery chip", It's almost been a challenge, finding something that Neville cannot engrave. Another cool thing is that he did most of these things at the last minute because I had called so many places and was trying to make a "common place" gift feel like I had not thought of it at the last minute. read more

I needed a complex emblem on a leather flag, and they did a beautiful job. It was difficult just to find someone that could even do the job - I wish I had found them earlier.
