If you're looking for a dedicated wine storage facility, I would recommend looking elsewhere. My…read moreexperience was disappointing from the start. The monthly pricing seemed to change every couple of months, and the locker sizes are awkward and not particularly well suited for storing wine. Access is another major issue. Getting in and out of the facility is cumbersome, especially when you're carrying multiple bottles or cases of wine. Overall, the wine storage area feels like an afterthought rather than something that was intentionally designed and properly managed for wine collectors. The tasting room was also disappointing. While you're shown a tasting room, members apparently don't have access to actually use it, and the overall setup is strange and not very inviting. For a facility specifically offering wine storage, I expected much better attention to the practical needs of wine collectors.

We've rented from other Cube smart locations before and always had a great experience. This…read morelocation, however, is terrible. There is no manager onsite. We have not been able to return the locks they provided to get a refund. There are spiders in both of our units and they said it was our problem to deal with. We couldn't access our unit for several days last week because the storm messed up the gate connection, but no one put a sign up or sent an email. So after we drove all the way over there, and spent half an hour trying our code, and being on hold with the corporate people, we finally figured it out. Paying this much for storage and not being able to access it is unacceptable and we should get a partial refund. And lastly, due to heavy rain recently, one of our units leaked and all our expensive exercise equipment got wet and ruined. Three days later, no one has been by to fix the roof so we have to go get tarps to put over our stuff in case it rains again. The manager is totally unconcerned with this issue and the urgency in getting the roof fixed. We can't move units bc it would cost us hundreds of dollars of our own money for movers. Again. This is ridiculous and we can't wait to get out of here!

At that point, I had no other choice. Now, another $24 increase! I regret using this place. Another upcoming rate increase. I am out of here! The payment didn't go through on the old card so I went in to change it after returning from a business trip out of the country. They charged me a $48 late fee for being a week late and refused to waive it. They also raise the rates every six months to the point it's just stupid to stay there. I started out at $90/mo and ended up at over $350 for a 10x10. It's time to move out which sucks because I have a lot of heavy stuff. It's like they know they have you, so they abuse any way they can and DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS at all. What's strange is that once I move out they will sell it for $90/mo again and slowly raise it every 6 months to get back to $300+ over the next few years. So running me off is going to cost them a lot of lost money. Do they just hate customers that much??? I will never do business with this company again. Probably what they want anyways.
