I don't write reviews very often, but I was genuinely surprised to see that this food truck has so few reviews. It easily outshines any other Thai food truck I've tried on the island. The crab fried rice is phenomenal. Unlike many places that skimp on the crab, this dish is loaded with real lump crab that you can actually see and taste in every bite. The flavor is amazing, the portion is generous, and the price is very reasonable for the quality and amount of crab you get. Another thing I love is the location. The food truck is inside a mall, so you can enjoy your meal in a comfortable air-conditioned space without having to deal with the Maui heat. Great food, great value, and a comfortable place to eat. This hidden gem deserves far more attention than it's getting. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend giving it a try. read more

My family and I came here because I was craving thai food and I was impressed by the reviews. But sadly, I was quickly disappointed starting with the service. The lady taking the order immediately gave my husband and I attitude, for no reason. She seemed miserable and almost as though every time we ordered a dish she got madder and more frustrated with us....again, for no reason. We ordered $110 worth of food (and even left an 18% tip) that we were taking back to my family at the hotel. I bought chili for $1.50 and she took it from my hand and said she would put it in the bag. When our food was ready I asked "Is the chili in the bag?" She looked straight in my eyes and said "Yes, I put two in there for big order, ok" I trusted her (shouldn't have) and quickly left because being around her negative energy and attitude was making me sick. We get to the hotel and I see the chili is missing. Of course it was. She probably reused it to charge another poor soul for it after I had purchased it. The food was subpar. No one in my family was impressed and on top of that, the plates all come with a lot of rice and very little of the main dish so everyone had very small portions of everything minus rice, we had a lot of that left over. For the lie, high price, "meh" tasting food, and worst of all the bitter lady taking your order, I wouldn't recommend this place and we won't be going back here again. read more

This place is in the lahiana cannery and is a food truck. It doesn't have the best customer service. The lady in front of me asked for a cup of water. The lady said they only sell water. She had to pay 2.00 for bottled water (even though she paid 25.00 for her meal). Glad I brought my own water. Then when I asked them for chili on the side for my order to go, since I chose mild, they told me that they charge 1.50 for a small container of chili sauce.... I told them that I chose mild so I could control the spice level so I wanted the chili on the side. They did give it to me complimentary but albeit reluctantly.... The food was average. Portion size was medium. Could have had more vegetables. read more

Lahaina Thai Ono - Thai Near Me - Lahaina, Hawaii

We grew completely fed up with the poor food options during our stay in Maui--everything we encountered felt overpriced and overrated. Ocean view? Just get a McD and stop by the road, lot better view and pricing. Hoping for a better food experience, I decided to give this restaurant a try, and to its credit, our order came out quite quickly. The ordering process is simple, place your order at the counter, receive a beeper, and pick up your food once it buzzes. Everything was packed in to-go containers, complete with forks and chopsticks upon request. Unfortunately, the food itself was entirely mediocre, with absolutely nothing that stood out. The Pad Thai noodles kept breaking into tiny pieces, most of the mussels had broken shells--a clear indicator they were not fresh--and the papaya salad was completely lack of flavor. We will not be returning. read more

I would say that they are fairly priced for the quality of their food. Probably the best Thai food we've had in this island so far. Their fried crab rice is legit and tasty for $22. We liked it so much we had to come back again to order for our flight trip. Clean and GF accommodating. I recommend them! read more

Literally stumbled upon this inside food truck after coming out of Safeway. I ordered the green curry with chicken and it was SO good. There was so much chicken and veggies it was packed with deliciousness. It came with white rice and mixing the 2 was perfect. The ordering process is super easy and they have tap to pay. The employee was very nice and the service was quick! They have tables right there if you wish to eat right away, but I took it to go and they packed it great and it was still piping hot when I got to my hotel 10min away. Highly recommend if you need a well priced hot, tasty meal while visiting Maui! read more

Was excited to see this place open on the westside. They're part of the new food court in the Lahaina Cannery Mall. There are a few tables inside the food court. Curry comes with rice which is nice. We were looking for a more economical night out and decided to stop at Lahaina Cannery for the food trucks. Lahaina Thai Ono did not disappoint. I ordered the duck curry special and it was awesome. Good portion of duck, very fresh veggies, all around a good red curry. There was also a decent amount of spice which I enjoyed. The food trucks are a hidden gem among Lahaina's pricy and busy restaurants. read more

Lahaina Thai Ono - Duck curry special - so flavorful - Thai Near Me - Lahaina, Hawaii

Best Thai food that Ive tried on West Maui. Trying this place for the second time. The first time, I will admit it was just okay and wasnt sure about it. But they have perfected their food after opening. Thai Ono is part of several other indoor trucks at the Cannery Mall next to Safeway. Really nice concept for eating inside with lots of seating. On some days they have hula or live music and that's a real treat! I got the green curry (thai spicy) and the shrimp fried rice. Both 10/10. If I could give it more rating I would. The flavors really came together, the portions were just right and the fried rice alone would have me eating there everyday. Dont forget to treat yourself with a Thai Tea to complete the meal. Don't take my word for it. Just go grab a meal sometime and share what you think. read more

Went to the truck at the mail area. They had an oxtail soup as a daily dish. With a bottle of water my cost was $32. There was one piece of oxtail and 97% of it was fat!!! Not exaggerating. So disappointing to pay that for a bowl of broth with a handful of carrots and buk choy and a bowl of rice. Won't be back. There is parking in the place behind the building. read more

There food may tasted ok but my husband and I got very different dishes,He got king of ocean and i got cashew chicken and Tom Kah. We both were very sick after eating there. They can't even make Thai coffee. Not a good place at all. read more

We came here after our half day snorkel tour to Molokini and it did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised to find it is located inside a small indoor mall between Safeway and the ABC store. It's so nice with AC and a clean bathroom and being out in the sun all day. We ordered Pad see ew Beef, Pad Thai shrimp, mango Salad with fried fish, mangoes with sticky rice and couple Thai ice tea. It was all da bomb. The portions are huge which is good to take home for a snack later. We will come back to Maui and eat here again! Lahaina strong, eat local, peace and love. read more

We had the yellow curry with tofu--excellent!! This was our second time and loved it both times.

Came here to eat after our whale watching boat tour. This spot is inside the Lahaina Cannery, operating out of an indoor food truck at their food court. We got here about noon and the place was relatively empty. Tables were readily available. A nice place to rest. We had the chicken pad se ew and Thai basil stir fry with tofu. Both were tasty and authentic (by my standards anyway. I'm not Thai, but have eaten my share of Thai food). They had "wok hay". Portion size and prices were reasonable. The stir fry came with white rice. Overall a satisfying meal. read more

Really yummy food! My mom is extremely picky and she said it was delicious! I found this spot in yelp and door dash. It is a hidden gem for sure within a small shopping center. Highly recommend! read more

we had the Pad Thai and some spring rolls. It was very tasty. It actually is nestled in a food trailer along with some other food trailers. Kind of like a food truck. So I was able to get a pedicure and the pad Thai all in the same mall. In the Lahaina cannery. They were very busy on a Friday about 315 so we knew that they were good. How do you go wrong with Thai food. So if you're ever in Lahaina and you're looking for Thai food, it's very authentic. read more

I've been dreaming about this food truck for a year! Finally was able to go back and my Cashew Shrimp Stir Fry was just as good, if not better than I remember! Perfect to take back to our hotel after a day at the beach and fill up on some truly delicious, fresh, healthy food! read more

Food is amazing with fast service and a friendly staff. If you want a quick meal to eat in a clean dining environment, this is the place.

Who would have thought a food truck inside one of our westside malls would become a favorite! The quality of ingredients are always fresh, the taste -balance of ingredients hits perfectly with their curries, stir fry's and daily specials. Thai tea is a perfect balance as well, often times they are too sweet or too "bitter", theirs is just right. There is plenty of seating or nicely wrapped to go. Never a mess! I highly recommend this place. It's onolicious! It never disappoints! Mahalo for opening on the westside and so convenient Ps: lots of parking too! read more

so-so Thai food. Pad Thai has all of the sugar, but not much of the taste the dish should have. Swimming in plenty of oil, the shrimp and chicken versions we tried were underwhelming. We ordered several dishes and while the portions were large, the flavor was worse than wimpy. AND THEN after spending over $100 with them for the menu items, they refused to give me one cup of tap water. They wanted me to buy plastic bottled water. Why chisel me and make more waste for the LANDFILL? How cheap can you be? Shame! read more

This place was amazing! The food was fresh, filled with veggies and very hearty. The prices were also reasonable for Maui! We had veggie green curry which was a hit with adults and kids. Drunken noodles was very flavorful. Chicken fried rice and Chicken pad Thai were both very generously filled with chicken. Basil fried rice had subtle but fragrant flavor that just hit the spot.
