I have ordered delivery from them few times and my favorite dishes are the stir fry lamb with cumin and the plov. The portions are big, but most dishes are a little bit on the oily side. Still delicious though. The meats are tender and flavorful. Recommended if you want to try Uzbek cuisine.

We had an AMAZING experience at Laghman, this place kept coming up on my maps and I had been wondering about it! We were a group of 7 people, the first group got black fungus salad, smashed cucumber salad, lamb, and three types of noodles. Two of us came later and opted for chicken dumpling (vegetable was sold out) and lamb cold noodle laghman. Everything was excellent! Noodles had a great mix of toppings and noodles, there is a chili oil you can use on the table to add spice. Dumplings were not really my cup of tea... Another note is that their prices have gone up alot- if you look at the menu photos from a year ago everything was cheaper by 2-3$. Even in the laat 7 months!

Diced Chicken with Hot Peppers

Have heard so much about this place which I guess is Central Asian food. Wasnt too familiar with it. Ordered the spicy diced chicken and the dry fried noodles . The chicken was my fave. Spicy but not overpowering with lots of chopped peppers. Very flavorful and great quality. It comes with a side of white rice. The dry fried noodles werent really that dry, they were quite moist and also very flavorful. The "meat" as it says on menu was lamb (I think) and was good. A bit oily but still pretty good. Both came with little containers of chili crisp and a red tomatoey sauce and a white sauce that was a bit like the white sauce at Halal carts. All the meat is Halal. The portions are very large and can easily shared with 2-3 people. Prices are a bit high but not outrageously so. I got it delivered and it was well packaged and traveled well.

Top: rice noodles with beef bottom: shawarma

I had takeout from here. Food was addicting but not especially tasty, if that makes sense? I got the rice noodles with beef, and it was very flavorful. It reminded me of Chinese American takeout lo mein (like it's a guilty pleasure, but it's not really quality food). Also got the shawarma, but it wasn't really like the typical shawarma. More rice and veggies than meat. Sad that they gave me hard, old rice, though. Maybe it's because I ordered right when they opened so they didn't have time to prepare fresh rice? I wouldn't mind trying other dishes here.

First visit here. I ordered take out on a Saturday evening. This place was packed! So I already knew, I was in for a treat! I ordered the beef laghman, a generous helping of handpulled noodles and savory beef and vegetable soupy stew. They use top quality halal meat and you can taste the difference. It was delicious, even after being microwaved. The service was friendly, the order took about 10-15 minutes to prepare, but it was worth it. I'll definitely be back to enjoy more Uyghur delicacies! Happy Yelping!

Guess I'm the odd woman out... but overall - "OK La"... We dropped by to have lunch, small shop seats about 20 (possibly less) but there are 2 tables outside. Feels more like a "takeaway" spot vs. dining in. It's not a table service establishment - you order via the kiosk or front. They will ask if you want it to go or "eat in". If eating in, grab a table and they bring you the food when ready. Our experience today definitely impacted the overall feel - like maybe they are too busy with so many "takeaway" orders which then resulted in unorganized dine-in experience. We ordered 2 different noodle dish and fried manty, and asked for 2 cups of tap water. We got the fried manty... but the tap water never came. So choking on chili oil... had to get a sprite ($5!). Then 1 of our noodles came... it was ok, good flavor but after my 5th bite - it became one note. The gamey taste didn't help. After about 15 mins in... my husband's noodle never came. Finally had to ask the staff and found out, it was never put in. So we canceled it - 1 fried manty, 1 laghman noodle, and 1 sprite; total of $42 +, paid in cash, to avoid the extra fee - paid $45 and left the change. Perhaps a different system is needed to streamline how their orders come in but who knows. Food wise, it's ok, I don't understand the hype... is it due to the lack of halal or Muslim eatery? Is that why ppl are flocking here? I don't see myself eating here often... food feels heavy and overly salted. To each its own.

Cold noodles with lamb cumin

This may have been my first time having Uyghur food and wow was I impressed! The big plate chicken is so good, dare I say it may be even better than Spicy Village's Henan version. It's sweeter and the chicken is so tender. Also loved the cold noodle with lamb cumin. Would 100% reorder these dishes. Next time I'd go with dry fried noodles instead of the rice noodles (looks similar on the photo menu but rice noodles turned out to be more watery). Beef dumplings were good but not my favorite. There was a slight hiccup where we ordered the black fungus salad but it never came - no worries tho as we def over ordered and didn't need it. Another dish for next time. Service was great and can't wait to return.

Delicious fusion food! Absolutely try the non-chinese food, and ask for recommendations. Premises are clean. The staff are super friendly! And the prices are super reasonable. A rarity nowadays, with good service, cleanliness, good food and good prices

Went to the 20th Avenue and 62nd street location of laghman express in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn nyc. Written up by the ny times in 24 and 25 as one of the top nyc restaurants. Central Asian cuisine: laghman, chechvera and compote. Phenomenal food. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great staff! 3% credit card fee Small restaurant. Can be a wait to dine in.

Ambiance - the staff keeps the space very clean. the tables are not sticky; inside / outside seating. The place gets fill up pretty fast. Service - The staff are pretty sweet and nice. They are bilingual? Triglingual? English, Russian and another language I don't know?!!! They are helpful, eventhough the menu have limited selections - which is fine. ;P Food - Ordered the Danpanji (Chicken)- Medium size - it comes with wide noodle, the beef noodle - not bad. The Beef tripe salad can be better - if they blanche it a little or cold water rinse it more/ longer to get rid of the odor it could've been better?! it was a bit of disappointment. The lamb with Scallion was my favorite! If you like lamb and you tolderate it's gamey - definitely try it!! The Chili oil tastes pretty good, it have a good heat and cumin in it - the plain hand pulled noodles is not bad - it tastes pretty good with its chili oil and vinegar. All the portion is pretty big. Try It!!

Smashed Cucumber Salad Fried Wantons

Hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to in Brooklyn! The price is VERY reasonable and the portion and taste of the food is amazing! I still think about the cucumber salad and wish they had this place in california! The workers are very nice and made sure my water was always full which was very nice and although there's nothing in particular I did around the area of the restaurant, it was definitely worth going out of the way to go here.

Everyone knows Laghman Express has amazing food -- it's always busy and there's usually a line, which says a lot! The dishes are consistently delicious. But today I especially want to recognize two waitresses at their first location -- Molly and Zhanerke. Even with a full restaurant and nonstop orders, they were incredibly polite, warm, and welcoming. Their tone of voice, kindness, and professionalism truly stood out. Working in such a fast-paced environment isn't easy, but they handled everything with grace and positive energy. Also, credit to the kitchen team -- they work nonstop and still deliver high-quality, flavorful food every time. Great food and wonderful people. Highly recommend!

Stir Fried Lamb with Cumin is a must try dish! This location serves up great Uzbek cuisine with an easy to read menu (English/Chinese language), and the staff were really friendly. The boiled manty-wontons were especially flavorful with the yogurt dipping sauce. Did I mention the hot Lemon tea pairs so well with the dishes, beverages served in a glass pot-perfect. The star of the meal was definitely the cumin Lamb; meat was marinated so well, and did not taste gamey. This branch is fairly small, the wait time for a table can be long.

The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I found parking down the block and walked over to the restaurant. It seems like more of a delivery spot because there was no one inside sitting at any of the 5 tables. It's a fairly good size space, very simply decorated, mixed with a cool wall resembling a curio cabinet of treasures. I chose a spot in the middle and went to the restroom which was clean and simple. I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious. I even tasted a hint of salted egg yolk mixed into the egg mixture friefried up with the rice that signature crispiness with the little saltiness.... fantastic. The salt and pepper wings were different than the ones i'm accustomed to though the flavor was amazing. It didn't have the fried garlic, peppers, chilis, and onions that i'm accustomed to being in the dish. They were still flavorful, juicy and crisp and I could tell they cooked them fresh. That was much appreciated. I ended up taking half of my food home because I was stuffed.Thank you Msm Ellen and the Crown Garden crew for a tasty solo dinner.

The pork with garlic sauce was absolutely delicious. This one isn't spicy so it didn't numb the mouth. The mapo tofu was also delicious and a little spicier but still not numbing the mouth. Def better to have it with rice though. The green pepper fish was mouth numbing and honestly I couldn't taste much of the flavor because the combination of spice and the hot temperature of the food was overbearing for me. So if you're like me and can tolerate some spicy but not numbing spicy then I would recommend telling them less spicy. Portions were perfect for 5 people (3 males and 2 females) as we ordered 2 of the pork with garlic sauce, 2 mapo tofus, and 1 big green pepper fish dish. We went on a Saturday at 5:30pm so it wasn't too crowded. Overall delicious and the staff were all friendly and very attentive in filling up our water for our spicy meal. There was nothing that I ordered that needed ketchup. Nothing. There wasn't even soy sauce in the bag. Then had the unmitigated gall to charge $22 for the salt baked shrimp and told me I had to pay $5 extra to substitute the lo mein for white rice. Who is eating white rice with shrimp? Girl bye. I'm not paying almost $30 for one meal from a hood Chinese spot. If there's no heat in your establishment, your prices need to be in lowercase. If it looks like you might catch staph in your establishment, your prices need not to be so loud. I also believe they overcharged me. They did have a sign saying that the prices went up, but I think they may have been too cheap to print out a new menu if that was the case. I was going off of what they had on the wall for the general public. So as I stated, I ordered crab Rangoon ($7, allegedly), honey wings ($7, allegedly), a shrimp egg roll ($2, allegedly), spare rib tips with fried rice ($12, allegedly). My total was $31. My assumption is they probably charged me extra for pork fried rice, which I didn't ask him for. I know for a fact they are not charging tax because there's no way that you're forcing people to pay in cash while also charging them for taxes that you don't pay. The crab Rangoon was actually pretty decent even though I didn't have the sauce that comes with it. The honey wings were OK. They actually taste more like honey BBQ. I prefer C&Y honey wings. It's real honey and stay hot for an hour due to the way honey maintains heat. I also don't appreciate when these spots chop up a wing and call it two wings. 1 wing is the entire thing. STINGY. The spare rib tips I don't like and neither do I like their pork fried rice. The rice is a bit bland and I don't like those large spare rib tips. I prefer the boneless spare rib tips that C&Y has. A shrimp roll is a shrimp roll is a shrimp roll. It wasn't too bad and it was actually pretty happy. The shrimp was a little bit larger than those baby shrimp that they normally stuff in shrimp rolls. Their pricing is on par with C&Y yet I don't have no issues paying what they ask and their food is good aside from their lo mein. They are not stingy and have pretty decent customer service unlike the guy who took my order here who paused my order to take another order over the phone and tend to the person behind me. This is what I get for cheating on my spot and being lazy when they both were far af.
