    Pork Thousand Burger

OMG! The wait was definitely worth it! It wasn't that there were a lot of people, the lunch crowd had just started and I beat it. The wait is because the food is crafted with care! They make your food to order! When my Pork Thousand Burger came it was nicely presented on a plate that looked like it was cast iron but no, it was plastic! It didn't matter what was holding it, because the first bite told me everything I needed to know. The bread was wafer thin and so crispy contrasting with the warm pork, fried egg! There was also for extra color and crunch purple cabbage, green peppers! The cilantro brought all the warm flavors of the pork to another level! I ate this Chinese burger with care because I wanted to savor each bite! So good! I had trouble finding Baolala! The hallways didn't lead to the store and one entrance was closed! But I am glad I did come! I would have missed the epic burger! The worker was pleasant and sweet!

Food: This is an eatery located in Industry City behind Sunrise Mart. The entrance is a bit hidden behind another restaurant. Their menu includes soup dumplings, small dishes, noodles, and rice dishes. They also have a boba milk tea and drink menu. I tried the jasmine milk tea, but it was disappointing. The tea lacked any flavor, and the entire drink just tasted very watered down. I likely will not return to this place because everything seems very mediocre. Service: Staff member was friendly and welcoming. Ambiance: The place is VERY spacious with a lot of seating. Ambiance is nice, and the place is kept clean. A nice hangout spot. Overall, I would not recommend this place, but it's a good option if you're craving boba or a refreshing drink while in Industry City.

We loved our Chinese burgers, pork. It was very tasty, flavorful and good for a light meal and only $9! The pork soup dumplings were tasty as well. The meal included a free soup which was a nice surprise! The staff was helpful and very kind. The vibe was relaxing and nice. I fully recommend Baolala!

Baolala is a must visit restaurant in Industry City. The food has exceeded all expectations. Pork soup dumplings 5/5! Juicy tasty.. Thousand pork burger 10/5 lol The sauce inside is everything. The pork is tender and juicy..loved it so much Braised beef soup 5/5. Rich broth! Lots of meat and veggies inside. Super filling. I wasn't crazy about their boba..it was ok. But I generally prefer fruit teas so I have a specific taste. I saw they have a sunny side up matcha. Looked cool but it was late in the day for me to have caffeine so sadly I had to pass. Hopefully next time! I do think their ordering system lacks. You order on your phone and they bring you the food. The menu isn't descriptive so there's a surprise element to what you're getting. The kid that was working there didn't bring napkins, utensils etc so we had to keep coming up to ask for things. It's very casual and you can sit there forever, there's no rush. I love the laid back vibe

Stepped a little out of the comfort zone and ordered an iced Black Sesame Matcha and it was delicious! Took a sip before mixing and was a little thrown off by the flavor. Stirred it up and it was divine. Very cute shop. Towards the end of the day so it was quiet but friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely return if I was in the area.

Great flavors, unique "burgers," and energizing soup! Stopped by Bao La La in Industry City for lunch. We tried a variety of dishes: Bao la la Soup Noodles, Dan Dan Noodles, Garlic Chicken Soup Noodles, Pork Thousand Burger, and Pork Soup Dumplings. Highlights: Garlic Chicken Soup Noodles: My top recommendation! The garlic-infused broth was incredibly energizing and perfect for a chilly day. Pork Thousand Burger: Don't let the name fool you--it's not a traditional burger. The bun is amazingly crispy and light. I honestly could have eaten two! Value: Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Good to know: Portions: If you're arriving very hungry, I'd suggest ordering a few extra items to share, as the portions are on the lighter side. Atmosphere: It was quite cold inside the shop today, so we ended up keeping our jackets on while eating. Service: Water is self-service and free. They have a great selection of popular drinks, though I stuck to the warm soup this time to stay cozy.

A new edition to Industry City. It has very cute decor and is basically self service. You go to the table and order via a QR code. The food comes out pretty quickly. Overall was disappointed in the food, I tried finger baos and soup dumplings. However my iced rose tea was amazing!

I came here on the grand opening with a friend. It's located in the Industry City Courtyard 3/4 near Japan Village. It's a bit difficult to find since there's no sign. They have drinks from uluhuluh and Chinese dishes like soup dumplings, noodles, rice bowls, etc. You order at the cashier and they bring the order to your table. I ordered the baolala dry noodles (braised pork, tofu, corn, egg, chinese pickled vegetables, green onion) and my friend ordered the dan dan noodles (ground pork sauce, egg, green onion). The portions were quite large. The noodles were delicious and was only a bit spicy. The staff were very nice. I wasn't that hungry so I definitely have to come back to try the soup dumplings! It's a great addition to Industry City.

Second time coming here for a quick snack! You can order at the table with the QR code or up front. Food did not take that long and it came out super good. It's spacious and very clean.

MaPo tofu had some seriously genuine mala spice. Felt the numbing. Authentic and delicious, broccoli was good too. Would also try the noodle dishes and dumplings

The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I found parking down the block and walked over to the restaurant. It seems like more of a delivery spot because there was no one inside sitting at any of the 5 tables. It's a fairly good size space, very simply decorated, mixed with a cool wall resembling a curio cabinet of treasures. I chose a spot in the middle and went to the restroom which was clean and simple. I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious. I even tasted a hint of salted egg yolk mixed into the egg mixture friefried up with the rice that signature crispiness with the little saltiness.... fantastic. The salt and pepper wings were different than the ones i'm accustomed to though the flavor was amazing. It didn't have the fried garlic, peppers, chilis, and onions that i'm accustomed to being in the dish. They were still flavorful, juicy and crisp and I could tell they cooked them fresh. That was much appreciated. I ended up taking half of my food home because I was stuffed.Thank you Msm Ellen and the Crown Garden crew for a tasty solo dinner.

We were skeptical about this restaurant but it exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return! We came on a weekend for dinner so it was busy! We were able to snag a table and seeing how busy this place was, we knew it was going to be good! We had the pork XLB, chicken feet, pork & vegetable wontons with spicy peanut sauce, noodles with scallion and peanut butter sauce, beef lo mein and the beef ribs. Everything was delicious! The highlights of our meal were the pork XLB and the beef ribs. The pork XLB were made fresh to order and they were flavorful and juicy! Definitely on my list of best XLB I have ever had. The beef ribs were also delicious! They torched it table side which definitely added a nice touch! Considering how busy they were, the service was immaculate.
