Now that phase 1 of the museum is complete and open we are amazed. A beautiful little outdoor theater, a play cafe and farmer's market, a real greenhouse and a Channel Islands themed playground are just a few highlights of the outdoor experience. The indoor has a nice little classroom and shop area and a really cool maker space including a cardboard "chomp saw" and lots of crafts! The staff are really kind, patient, polite, and helpful. They help transform this from a fun space into an inviting experience. You can tell how passionate they are about family learning. The museum is already amazing and a fitting successor to the library that used to be on the site. We can't wait for phase 2, when the rest of the indoor space is renovated and available!

Older kids were going into the small children's section, which made it unsafe for the little ones. When you have very young children, supervision of those areas is really important to prevent accidental injuries to toddlers. Unfortunately, that was not happening during our visit, which made the experience stressful rather than enjoyable. I hope the business considers adding better supervision to keep the toddler area safe for the youngest guests.

It was not too crowded and the kids weren't too crazy. I've seen crazier kids at Sky Zone. My lack of one star is because the port a potty had no toilet paper, and it was unclear what you could bring in. You can bring whatever food or water you want, and you can buy water and snow cones there. I also asked a worker how long this event will run and they said into November.

I had just finished my shift at work nearby and wondered if there were any good saltwater stores nearby. I searched on Yelp and found this place. The store is run in a townhome and the only way you would know about it is by word of mouth or looking online, so it truly is a hidden gem ;). Jason was fantastic! He has a nice little setup that has one of the most amazing collection of corals I've seen in a compact space. If you're an sps guy like me, then this is the place to go to. He also has a nice variety of lps and softies. All of the corals are in great health and are thriving. I bought with confidence! Jason also has amazing prices on his selection of livestock and dry goods so it really is hard to complain about anything. He was really accommodating on my visit and made sure to answer any questions I had. If there is something that isn't there and you would like to get your hands on, just let him know and he will get it for you. I can't believe I drove by this place so many times without taking the time to drop by. I'm really glad I found this place as I will be back very soon for another splurge! Came to see 24k Magic - the Bruno mars tribute band. Our family isn't really a fan of Bruno Mars…read morebut they're all songs played on the radio that everyone knows so we figured why not come see what the concerts in the park are all about. We had SO much fun! The park was filled with friendly, neighborly people all eating delicious food, picnicking and dancing with their kids, dogs and families. The community here is awesome! We came a few hours early to reserve our spot with some lawn chairs and a few blankets, and got a pizza in advance to go from toppers so we didn't have to wait in food lines, but we did end up getting some ice cream from the mister softee truck! :) You can also bring your own beer and wine! Such a blast! Can't wait for the next one! Everyone was so respectful and kind to each other, this is what it's all about!

The equipment is new and I love that it is covered by a huge umbrella shade so that the apparatus doesn't get too hot. They do have a funky swing set which took me a while to figure out, but basically it's a 2-person swing where the baby sits in one seat and the adult can sit in front of the baby vs having to stand and keep pushing. There is also bathrooms and picnics tables on site (can be rented) which makes this a nice place for parties. There seemed to be an organized dog training class here on Saturday with a good group of dogs and owners and orange cones set up.
