Outdoor concerts in a lovely park. The temperature is so much nicer than the San Fernando valley. Great way to spend a summer evening

I enjoy visiting Six Flags Magic Mountain overall--the park has great rides and a fun atmosphere…read more However, I do feel the customer service could be improved. At the entrance, when asking questions, the staff didn't feel very attentive or professional. I understand many employees are young, but better training and communication would really improve the guest experience. I still like the park itself and would return for the rides, but I hope they work on improving customer service and making guests feel more welcomed and supported.

I lived in California for almost 7 years and I've been to Six Flags all of two times. And there's…read moredefinitely a reason for that! Came Memorial Weekend '26 and yes I assumed it would be busy, I expect that. A few issues that I've encountered while in the park. 1. Rollercoaster rides operating with empty seats! I was in line for Full Throttle and saw it being operated with 10 empty seats, yes 10, as others were on the ride as well. A waste of time for the people waiting in line for an even longer period of time. What happened to calling out "Is there anyone available to ride in this car"? Made no sense. 2. Batman ride had NO AIR while waiting in line before getting on. I felt like I was in hell and could've passed out before actually getting on the ride. Was there no vent for the air?? 3. Fast Pass needs to be regulated for weekdays only and/or specific times for weekends/holidays. I stood in line as at least 20-30 fast pass people just came right along. On top of that, I've seen a bunch of high school kids just enter the line and it was a known fact they didn't pay for that pass (was at least 12 kids at the time). 4. Employees need to learn to open their mouths. Had employee come through the Wonder Woman line with a trash grabber on hand and didn't say one word, just used the grabber in our face as a way of saying excuse me. If I wasn't so close to the front of the line he would've gotten slapped into next week. Overall, Six Flags is not that great of an amusement park. Rides are old and food is overpriced.

Their own website clearly states to arrive at 6pm, with no mention of calling ahead, no reservation system, no waitlist. So that's exactly what we did. We arrived on time only to be turned away because the spots were already gone. Apparently there's an unwritten rule that regulars know to call ahead, information conveniently absent from their website. When we asked the general manager, Cameron, why this wasn't communicated anywhere publicly, her repeated response was essentially "we're popular", offered with the self-satisfaction of someone who sees no problem with the situation. No apology. No empathy. No acknowledgment that their website is actively misleading customers. Just a shrug and a reminder that this is "how you learn for next time." My son was in tears. What's most frustrating isn't the miscommunication, it's the attitude. A good manager finds a way to soften the blow, acknowledge the failure, and make a family feel heard. Cameron did none of that. When I pointed out that if calling ahead is policy, it should be stated publicly, she had no real answer, just more deflection about how popular they are. K1 may be too busy to care about losing one family's business, but we had been planning a birthday party there. That won't be happening. If you value clear communication and basic customer service, proceed with caution.

The kids LOVED it! And it was great for the adults because the kids never left the bubble stations. There were so many different wands and ways to make bubbles. The lady who came did such a nice job. She was very friendly and so sweet to the kids. Any time someone had trouble, she would patiently show them how to make the bubbles. As the activity went on, she introduced other bubble making tools like a rope. Each new item captivated the kids. In particular, a few of the kids were timid at first. I thought the lady was very kind and encouraging. All of the kids warmed up to her and took part with the bubbles. I was happy to see some adults getting in on the fun as well. And even some parents teaming up with the kids to try to make the biggest bubble possible. It was a ton of fun all around. At the end, everything was cleaned up and taken away. It was a very effortless way to have an outdoor activity for kids. Highly recommend!

From the start, scheduling and putting down the deposit was very simple and straightforward. Nat reached out ahead of time to confirm timing, location, and all the details, which made everything feel easy and well organized. During the party, Nat did an amazing job showing the kids how everything worked, demonstrating some seriously impressive bubble skills, and most importantly were incredibly thoughtful about how to engage with each child. Some kids wanted hands-on support, others preferred to jump right in on their own, and Nat handled that balance perfectly. Nat also did a great job keeping the space tidy and ready for the next kid, which made the whole experience feel calm and well run. We received so many compliments from other parents. My 67-year-old dad said it was the best birthday party he's ever been to. Honestly, I don't know how we could have another party at a local park without Bubblemania. Truly incredible and worth every bit.

We got the "early bird" ticket where we can enter the park starting at 2 pm. The fan fest night starts at 7 pm so we got to enter early to enjoy the park along with the public before the rest of the fan fest ticket holders. This experience was great and I would do it again. In between the transition, there was barely any wait for the most popular rides and I never waited more than 15 minutes for rides that normally would take 2 hours. They are building the fast and furious: Hollywood Drift ride here, which is a new roller coaster. It's supposed to open summer 2026, so we just missed it's opening. For fan fest, they had the Harry Potter theme, one piece, Mario/Nintendo theme, and a few others. The concept was pretty good and Nintendo Land had Mario characters, including Yoshi's, Mario, Luigi and toad. I didn't get to enjoy the one piece themed foods since we brought lunch in from the outside. Hogsmeade had a scavenger hunt also, but we did not participate. The butter beer always hits, and one of my faves. It's like cream soda on steroids. The rest of the park was normal. I liked walking around at night with less of a crowd. Best part was I did not have a panic attack this time. I also bought a robe, which I look forward to using.

FALSE ADVERTISING My…read morewife and I have had some lovely visits to the SB Zoo over the years, but our last one... wasn't. We entered the zoo at around 4pm, and by the time we got to the back to see the lions and gorillas (our favorites), they had been put to bed. We learned from staff that the "superstars" of the zoo (lions, snow leopards, mountain gorillas, etc.), are put to bed at 4:30pm! This meant we'd spent $80 and wouldn't see what we came for. We brought this to the attention of a guest relations staffer who told us it was just bad luck, that they move in and out of their enclosers. The internet revealed the lie, "The Santa Barbara Zoo's lions usually start heading off-exhibit and into their behind-the-scenes holding areas between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM, though the specific time can occasionally shift depending on the season and the keepers' daily routine." And the zoo's own site says the gorillas aren't visible after 4:30pm! We contacted Tanner, the Guest Experience Manager, and he reiterated the lie. That same lie is repeated on a poster at the entrance, where a picture of a lion at magic hour advertises "Twilight Hours until 7pm" (see attached pic). I cc'd the CEO of the zoo about the matter and received no response. So, go visit the animals, but know that the Twilight Hours is an easily proven con job and the management could use some serious improvement in guest relations.
