What a memorable experience! We ordered tickets only a few weeks in advance and they still had a decent selection. I've read other reviews that said the trip passes by some unsightly things. We took the 7:50pm ride and it was almost pitch black, so that helped. Prices are spot on for the experience. Renee, Lexi, and Steven were excellent! So sweet with the kids and their singing voices were amazing! The experience is very interactive and they even made it personal for some. The hot coco DID taste like melted chocolate bars, and the snickerdoodles were soft and chewy! The trains are nicely decorated and compliment the old look and feel of the train. The lighting effects and music were clear and vibrant. North Pole was less than spectacular, but I'm sure improvements will be made. My mom went to the Grand Canyon one about 8 years ago and said this experience was better than that one. Bathrooms are at the station, a little rundown but the town/station is old itself. Picture spots and letters to Santa are activities to do before you board. Gift shop is small but has some cute stuff. It closes at 8pm so if you have a late trip, visit before. I recommend waiting at car 1 for the little skit at the beginning and then boarding your train. It did get a little warm in the train so prepare for that. Take as many videos and photos as you want; they offered to take a group photo at the end as well! I will do this next year for sure!

I had such a wonderful time with my family! I was skeptical because the prices were a bit high. I was debating Knotts Merry Farm or going to the Polar Express. I feel they are both very different. The polar express is a must see and do for the Christmas Season. It makes me feel so much at home and you truly experience the joy of the Holidays. The cast members went really above and beyond. Great job to the team over at the socal Polar Express.

Awesome ride. Kept you entertained for the duration of the ride. Very interactive. Great show. Only improvement could be the "North Pole".

I do agree with other reviewers that they could've done more at the North Pole.

What's up Flavor Budz!!…read more So, it's been a minute since I've been to Six Flags. I was feeling the burn, seriously, walked for hours! But anything for my niece, she wanted to be there for her birthday, so there we were. The family showed up and showed out for my baby girl. She and her closest girlfriends had a blast. The park wasn't crowded, so they got through lines pretty quick. The park is still in good shape, most rides are running, I just didn't realize how hilly it was! Eh! Good thing I had my cute walking shoes on, auntie was cute! Ok! My hubby upgraded our day pass, so Six Flags, I'll be back! P.S. If you're interested, upgrade your day pass inside the park for $50 a ticket. You get access to all four parks: Knott's Soak City, Six Flags, and Hurricane Harbor! - You're welcome

For context, this is for my experience back in January 2024, my second or third visit to the park…read more For someone who loved thrill rides, it is indeed a coaster paradise (loved Tatsu, Full Throttle, X2 in particular). Couldn't get on Twisted Colossus due to size, barely got on Batman. But that isn't why I'm rating this low. No, I'm rating this low because of how the park responded to lost/found items. Fast forward to 2025 briefly; got a Disney pass, lost some Sunglasses on Splash mountain ride, got them back within the week, despite being lost on an obscure part of the ride. So what happened in January then? I was riding the dueling coasters based on cars. A fun concept, truly. Was really enjoying myself... until we stopped back into the station. I do blame myself for losing my phone after stupidly placing it in my back pocket of my pants; the phone slipped out during one of the loops in the second half of the ride, landing in an obscure part of the park below the tracks. However, I certainly do not blame myself for what happened after, but on the park: Once I got home 60 miles later, I uploaded the phone's location via Find My to the park's lost and found website, along with a link to a POV video where the loss approximately took place. A report was made shortly after. Fast forward to July of that year: I'm at my work's conference, and get a random text... from China. Evidently my phone was actually found at Six Flags, but was sold on some black market to be taken into China. Keep in mind: despite a report being made, no official response was made from Six Flags about the phone's fate. It's partially why I stopped visiting Six Flags altogether after my birthday in June... the Magic and thrill of visiting that Mountain died out, all because one bad customer service experience, and lack of due diligence. I certainly hope the lost/found experience had gotten better since the merger, but in case it hadn't? Let this be a warning, and god help you.

Their own website clearly states to arrive at 6pm, with no mention of calling ahead, no reservation system, no waitlist. So that's exactly what we did. We arrived on time only to be turned away because the spots were already gone. Apparently there's an unwritten rule that regulars know to call ahead, information conveniently absent from their website. When we asked the general manager, Cameron, why this wasn't communicated anywhere publicly, her repeated response was essentially "we're popular", offered with the self-satisfaction of someone who sees no problem with the situation. No apology. No empathy. No acknowledgment that their website is actively misleading customers. Just a shrug and a reminder that this is "how you learn for next time." My son was in tears. What's most frustrating isn't the miscommunication, it's the attitude. A good manager finds a way to soften the blow, acknowledge the failure, and make a family feel heard. Cameron did none of that. When I pointed out that if calling ahead is policy, it should be stated publicly, she had no real answer, just more deflection about how popular they are. K1 may be too busy to care about losing one family's business, but we had been planning a birthday party there. That won't be happening. If you value clear communication and basic customer service, proceed with caution.
