Our son was struggling and with their help he got back on track and is excelling in class!

My review is WAY overdue. We've been with Tutorific since December of 2019 and today is May 1st, 2025. Our kids start Tutorific at age 4 and continue until they begin 1st grade. There is no magic time, it's what we have decided is right for our kids. We utilize the reading program. Our oldest son, Evan ultimately worked on math too. He was in kindergarten via Zoom and struggled a bit. His tutor, Will started helping with the math and then all was good!!! Evan is currently in 4th grade. Our oldest daughter, Grace loved coming and playing the games with Matt. Playing games is one of many ways Tutorific teaches kids. She still asks me to play the reading games with her from time to time. Grace currently in 1st grade. Our 4.5 year old, Joey reads with the owner, Matt twice a week. He's in preschool and can easily sound out 6 letter words. Joey reads over 400 words by sight. Tutorific has a reward system in place. You reach certain milestones and go to the "PRIZE WALL!" Joey adores the prize wall. A reward system really helps Joey stay on track. It's amazing having kids that can read at such a young age. Our baby, Olivia can be found playing with toys and running around the Tutorific lobby twice a week while big brother, Joey is strengthening his reading skills. She'll start in a few years! I took screenshots of facebook posts my wife or I have posted over the years. I have so many wonderful things to say, I don't know what to write. I decided sharing our personal posts written for our family and friends would give you the best bird's eye view of how much we love Tutorific. We are moms who have feel like Tutorific is more than a place to help kids with homework. They have helped our kids learn to read but more importantly they helped our kids LOVE reading. We've been with Tutorific for about two years now, and I can't say enough good things. My eldest son who struggles with focusing and reading has been getting school help with his tutor, Dario, and the difference is incredible. Dario has been so patient with him, helping him stay focused and making learning feel manageable and positive. Even more amazing, my youngest son (who is just 4 years old) is learning how to read after I watched the progress of his brother. He usually has a hard time going to regular school or childcare, but somehow he absolutely loves going to tutoring and is always excited to bring his work box. He loves that Mr. Mat plays reading games and makes learning fun. The encouragement and connection they build with the kids make such a huge difference. We are so grateful to have found this place. They also moved to a new facility down the street which looks great. There is a comfortable sitting area and also a bonus yard for parents or students to sit for fresh air and greenery. Matt and his team have done the Early Reader program with 3 of my kids. The littlest will start when she turns 4. I cannot stress how amazing their program is. The staff are all wonderful. What's great place. They are very helpful and accommodating. One of my kids needed help with reading due to dyslexia and they provided supports and techniques to help with reading. I really wanted my kids to not hate reading, so I appreciated that they made it fun. Their reading has greatly improved and they enjoy reading more on their own now. There's only one tutorific and all I can say is that we're blessed to have it here. I know, first hand, the positive and tender, teaching and mentoring they do of their students. And the progress! The owner is kind and cares for all our families and the community. He's turned over a third of their building to food share to help feed the less fortunate thank heavens for this wonderful organization. There is no other place that does it this well. read more

My experience with Tutorific has been wonderful so far. My son has autism and I wanted to get him extra support with reading, math and writing. I'm so impressed with the tutor. He was able to keep my son's attention and engagement for the entire thirty minute session. I was a little skeptical he would be able to do that! The tutor is very patient and really has a gift with working with children with special needs. I can tell he is passionate about his work. Most of the teachers were good people and my kids liked them, except one in particular. The complaint I have is that there wasn't much consistency in the staff and continuity from one session to the next. We were very hopeful that this experience would surpass other places we had been to. However I think we attended at a time where they had a tutor shortage, not sure. read more

The owner/director of Tutorific is a compassionate educator. My company has done work for him and I had shared photos of my family's pool which has a lush environment including waterfalls and a little island. The Director became aware that one of their eight-year-old students had to leave his public school because he was being beat up and having food dumped on him by other students because he loves mermaids, fingernail polish, and 'traditionally girl' colors in his clothing selection. The Director asked if we'd lend our pool so that Tutorific could give the boy a positive day to remember and they did. The boy and a few girls "walked the mall" (one of his wishes), had their nails professionally done, and then they and their parents had a mermaid swim party. All of it was paid for by Tutorific and it was a glorious day for the kids and their families. Tutorific, its director, and its staff, allow kids to be who they are. They support all children and families equally well and want all children to be happy learners. read more

I would give Tutorific ten stars if I could. My son has been going to Tutorific for almost a year now as a result of not being at grade level. His growth in math and reading have been outstanding. Although in the second grade, his AR level of reading is mid-fourth grade. His math scores have also seen vast improvements. I attribute this success to Tutorific. Matt, the owner, has always been approachable and generous with his time. He has always been willing to work with me on a strategy for refining my son's course of study and truly puts the child first to ensure that they succeed at school. Moreover, all the tutors are caring and thoughtful and I trust their guidance implicitly. Tutorific is truly worth the time and money and I offer a wholehearted recommendation. My granddaughter was struggling with math after it being her favorite subject all though school, although she did not want to go we took her to Tutorific to be evaluated and have some help. Coming out of her first tutoring session she said "I Love Math again"! And talked about it all the way home saying "this is weird but I want to go back"! This review is long overdue. My son began his Tutorific journey 1 year ago. My 11 Y.O. has a myriad of deficits- fine/gross motor skills, LD in Math/Writing, mild visual processing, & ADHD to name some. Let me just say that my son has gained more in the 1 hour/2X week at Tutorific than he has in his 6 hour school day academics. Tutorific's support has been invaluable. Matt is patient, knowledgeable, & an expert at helping kids who are differently wired. As a parent of a neurodiversed student, I especially appreciate the time he takes to lend an ear to my woes as a parent navigating the school system. I brought my child in because he was falling behind and not meeting grade level expectations at school. We have tried extra aide time in school and extra hours at home, all which was moving to slow for the school years pace. I found Tutorific online and was impressed by reviews, I was hesitant about a tutor center but once I was contacted by the staff I immediately felt comfortable and knew this was the place I wanted my child to be at. Since enrolling him at Tutorific a few months ago, we have noticed he is excelling far more then we could have ever imagined. The facility is clean, quiet and professional. Tutorific has made learning fun and with incentives, rewards the children for doing such a great job! My son looks forward to coming in for his sessions. Reality is, I am not a teacher so there is only so much I can do at home before frustration sets in, I will leave it to the professionals who love teaching and can help get down to my sons level. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My son started coming to see Matt the end of January for reading. My son is 5 and hadn't had any other reading lessons or phonetic knowledge...clean slate. It's now the beginning of May and he is reading. It's more than that though. Matt is wonderful with him, very patient, but great at getting him back to the lesson when his mind starts to get off topic. He makes learning fun, and I'm always amazed by what I overhear in their lesson times. Can't recommend him and the staff there more! read more

I went here as a teenager and it really helped me aside from what I got out of regular classes. One on one time with practice on anything I needed help with. Math was my struggle but with help from my tutors I passed each level of math I needed. read more

Matt and his team have really went out their way to make sure my 2nd grader has got up to speed with the rest of his class. It has been a positive experience for my son and I plus I have seen immediate improvement in his math. You may find a less cost tutoring center in town but the tutoring received here is excellent and you are not tied into a contract. read more
