If Earl Grey is Hong Kong's signature flavor, then I must have it! At $75 HKD per slice (or $68 for the original flavor), these mille-crepes are not cheap. However, their distinct flavor and light, airy, and creamy texture are amazing and worth a try. The earl grey had a hint of tea-flavor without being too strong, and the original flavor is classic. The slices are generous, yet it's not a heavy dessert. Located on the 2nd floor in IFC mall, Lady M wasn't too difficult to locate, as they're adjacent to a Starbucks. For takeaway orders, they package your cake(s) with a small frozen pack to keep it cool. Although these mille-crepes are best enjoyed fresh, I had a slice one day later and toppling around in my carry-on bag, and I thought it was still delicious.

5 stars solely for the cake. Earl Grey Crepe Cake: The HK exclusive. Had to try it. It tastes like earl grey but not super strong so if you don't like the earl grey taste, this is still good. The texture is what's great about Lady M mille crepe cakes. Location: So weird.. it's behind the elevator that's next to a Starbucks. Coming from the direction where Starbucks is on your left, you can't see the Lady M shop but you'll see the random seating area along the glass wall as you turn the corner. At least there are workers that will direct you to where you should line up to wait for a seat or wait to order to take away.

I never made my way to Lady M in NYC, so thank you for bringing it to me halfway around the world. I finally tried it one year ago after the lines were manageable. You'll find the beautifully decorated Lady M dangerously located in a corner of IFC that is also home to green juices and musubi. Stay focused and head straight for the cake display! It is the perfect place to have a break while shopping at IFC. While I agree it is pricey, decadent and the lines can be looong, Lady M is an indulgence and worth the splurge on occasion. Lady M's famous mille crepe cake is a must try, it's picture perfect, decadent, soft and buttery. Stick to original or the original with strawberry. They have other flavors (ex: the famous earl grey that everyone raves about) but if it's your first time, I encourage you to try the original. Or get both and share! Next on my list is to try their citron mille crepe. After you've been here a few times (as you should come often!), I recommend you venture outside of the mille crepe. Their banana mille feuille is delish, I hope to try their strawberry next time. And what may not be obvious is that they may have the best cheesecake/gateau fromage in all of Hong Kong. So if you have already had the mille crepe cake, try their cheesecake. It is my favorite thing on their menu, so it is not to be missed. I find myself craving it often and still have quite a bit on my list of things to try here. I appreciate that they've opened a few locations, I am looking forward to my next visit!

Lady M at IFC has special flavor (ROSE) available when I was there so I gave it a try along with the EARL GREY crepe cake. Rose Crepe Cake There was a layer of rose jell on top of the cake and had a pretty decent rose flavor in it. If you are someone who loves rose, you might want to give it a try! Earl Grey Crepe Cake It did not have a strong taste and flavor to the crepe cake, it would be better if the earl grey taste was much stronger. All I taste was the sweetness of the whip cream and not too much of the tea flavor. Price is definitely higher but if you love crepes, definitely give it a try! The original crepe cake I had in New York was pretty good!

This place get their cakes right! The Earl Grey is HK signature, and the hint of Earl Grey is obvious, light yet identifiable. Layers of Crepe with creamy Earl Grey taste. Nice I had the chocolate cake Checkers, and the chocolate sweetness is just right, the top thicker chocolate is slightly bitter and it enhances that palate. I really like it, and fortunately had it after the Earl Grey, otherwise it would have overpowered the Earl Grey hint. 5stars

Walking around the IFC, I happened to come across a long line waiting in the middle of the walkway. Curious, I walked closer and saw a second line marked "takeout". Not sure what the line was for, I walked up to the counter and saw some beautiful cakes on display. The cakes were made of thin layers of crepes, sandwiched by light pastry cream. I'm not a huge fan of sweets, but since I love crepes I decided to get a slice to try. I got the seasonal strawberry flavor and took it back to my hotel to eat. It was delicious - soft and fluffy, held together by the cream that was just right and not too sweet. It's a little pricy for a slice (75 HKD) but definitely worth a try.

Lady M me crazy please! Loved the rose petal one! The green one version is very good also!

This is the 2nd time I had Lady M. My first time was in New York and it was amazing. The cakes at the Hong Kong location were even better. I think they offered different styles of cake vs the one in New York. Since there was 4 of us, we got to try 4 different cakes. The rose milli crepe was pretty but wasn't flavorful. I couldn't taste any rose. But the chocolate mousse and matcha milli crepe were delicious. The only negative point I want to mention is their customer service. The only have a limited amount of seating, so if you want to dine in, there's a line you stand in and there was this group of 5 ppl in front of us that was waiting for a very long time. The server only had a table for 2 that was available so they came and got the couple behind us even though they just got there and mind you our group has been waiting for atleast 15-20 min and the group in front of us was waiting even longer. Then the server came back again but they only had a table for 4, so they offered us the table. The group in front was upset and I cant tell they were irritated. Honestly, the server could easily just sit that group at the table of 4 and just add an extra chair at the side. I felt bad for them.

Finally visited this "legendary" store for their crepe cakes. No need to queue during lunch time at all (after all those crowds). The strawberry crepe is light , layered with fresh cream and strawberries. Can finish one slice without any trouble~~~ goes perfect with a pot a hot tea :) worth returning for other flavours ~~~

Their cakes are pretty amazing. We had a strawberry shortcake and earl grey mille crepes, and so delicious. The shortcake was so fluffy, creamy with fresh strawberries. The earl grey mille crepe just melted in my mouth - incredibly soft from cutting into it to swallowing it - with great flavors and not very sweet. No tough and chewy or doughy crepe. A good tea/coffee selection, too.

Delicious as always! (I usually eat Lady M from LA). I was really excited to see the Earl Grey flavor which we don't have at home & it was so yummy!

They have a couple of locations and I went to the one located in Central HK that was near my hotel. The shop was pretty small and was on the middle of an incline hill. The shop is pretty small and tight. There is only one person working in the front. The table we sat in was not clean. It was sticky and the employee did not bother to wipe it even when we were seated. We have to order through a QR code. There was a seasonal flavor which was strawberry sake at the time. I got the strawberry panna cotta kakigori. Strawberry panna cotta: The strawberry flavor was artificial. The inside of the kakigori was artificial strawberry cream and whipped cream. The shaved ice was icy and crunchy. It was not soft. It was made by regular tap water ice instead of the milk/cream ice that Japan would use. There was no panna cotta on the bottom. It was just more whipped cream that I think they were fooling us thinking we wouldn't notice. Overall, the kakigori was not cheap. It was about $20 USD. It was huge, the same size as you would get in Japan. I think the size is enough for 2 people to share. Another thing is that they include 10% service charge on the receipt. Barely any service but whatever, most restaurant in HK automatically include a 10% service charge. I recommend to try traditional HK dessert dishes instead of this fail imitation of kakigori.

They visited Oddies and we wanted to try egg waffles so we walked there. Getting there was admittedly a steep trek but it was completely worth the walk. It's a small shop that was easy to miss, but there was a nice spot to sit down inside. We bought the Fancy Pants parfait, which was somewhat pricey (about $10 US). We opted to eat it on the way back to our hotel. The gelato was soft and creamy, and had multiple layers of tantalizing flavors (peanut butter, cookie chunks, etc.). It was super flavorful and delicious. The egg waffles themselves were crispy on the outside and custardy and soft on the inside. They were the perfect amount of sweetness and absolutely delectable when eaten in a spoon with the ice cream. This was so, so yummy and unique- definitely somewhere to go and wish we had time for a repeat visit!

Well yea, I can be a freak lol, but in this case it's all the bakeries "so far", not all were exceptional, but damn most are! Tai Cheong Bakery is the OG of bakeries on my list. Established in 1954 here on Lyndhurst Terrace, Tai Cheong Bakery is a legendary Hong Kong bakery famed for pioneering cookie-crust egg tarts. Known as a favorite of the last British Governor, Chris Patten, it is considered a must-visit for warm, buttery egg tarts, along with their signature Sha Weng (Chinese donuts). Bakehouse and Hashtag B Bakeries are the innovative ones that turned the "egg tart wars" upside down with modern recipes and Michelin baby followers lol. On the other side you have Tai Cheong Bakery that has been using the same recipe for 72 years. All amazing bakeries yet something in my heart will always favor the originals. On my visit I arrived about 10 minutes before opening and was second in line. For the 10 minutes I chatted with the sweet Korean lady who was there for the same reason as me... original egg tarts! There's a menu sign posted outside - lucky for those waiting in line because it's a photo menu with Chinese, Japanese, Korean and English translation. Once the doors opened I was second in line and the line of about a dozen formed behind me. Auntie greeted me in English and I ordered the following: Egg Tart (Cookie Crust) 12 HK$ x2, Puff Pastry Egg Tart 12 HK$, Milk Protein Egg Tart 15 HK$, BBQ Pork Pastry 7 HK$ x2. I actually wanted the Coconut Egg Tart, but oddly I ended up with eh Milk Protein Egg Tart. Ok, still ate it! Ambiance can be described as a good chi bakery, and apparently this is the original location from 1954, if so it was really clean and inviting. I didn't see a sit-down area tho. Everything I had delicious, yes including the Milk Protein Egg Tart I didn't order lol. The traditional Egg Tart (Cookie Crust) amazing with flaky crust and tasty filling expected from only the best Dan Tat! In the end, Tai Cheong Bakery is a must for egg tart fanatics. In fact, the menu was diverse enough to walk out with no egg tarts and still be happy as a clam. I heard the buns here are delicious. There is a reason why this place is so popular: it feels very home-y with the booths along the sides of the shop and round family-style tables. We arrived around 9:20pm on a Monday night, with little to no line. Just a short 5 minute wait for tables to clear up. In that time, we noticed dessert bowls served in pretty yellow Chinese-style porcelain bowls. Once seated, a Chinese menu peered up at us from under a glass-topped table. I quickly asked for an English menu and a lady kindly brought it to us. I was originally eyeing the walnut cream 合桃露 or the almond cream 杏仁露, but considering my slight cough, decided against anything nutty and heavy, and went for the red bean sweet soup with tangerine peel 陳皮紅豆沙, and boy am I GLAD that I did. It wasn't too dense or too watery. The red bean was blended quite smoothly into the soup with small chunks here and there. There were no visibly large red beans as you would see in other places. While I previously preferred the large chunky "hong dao sa", I think my tastes buds have changed, and have found my go-to place at Yuen Kee. In addition, what I liked best was the use of the tangerine peel - which gave the red bean soup a new uplifting citrus-y smell and taste, and provided a pleasant and natural sweetness to the soup (compared with overly and unnaturally sweet ones elsewhere). My friend's sesame soup 芝麻湖 was just as delicious! Like my red bean soup, it was perfectly blended, and not too grainy, nor too thick or goopy of a sesame mixture. I only wish ALL the desserts came in the yellow bowls - ours came in plain white bowls. You can be sure I'll be back once my health is fully restored.
