For the amount of work put into a Lady M cake, it's well worth it. Having never been able to try it when they had a pop up store in Atlanta, I was happy that I got to go to a proper store and get a cake there. They have all the cakes on display, and when you eat it, it's an experience. If you have never had a crepe cake before, it sort of melts in your mouth. I would definitely recommend the cakes, even though they're pricey, it's worth it. Would I recommend to just eat there? It's alright, I've been there twice and I think their system of ordering and then checking out is a bit chaotic and I would rather just buy it to go and go eat it elsewhere. I still think that the original cake has the best flavor and it does its best in the Tysons area to keep the brand value. I've been here several times, and the cake here isn't super sweet like other pastry shops. It melts nicely in your mouth and had a subtle flavor of whatever you ordered. The service is quick and fast, and I really like the crepe cakes with the endless layers. My favorites were the earl tea cake and the original signature flavor. I had other flavors, which were the chocolate and the matcha tea ones, and although they taste great, they weren't as good compared to the earl tea and the original flavor ones. I came here with a friend and we got two slices of the tiramisu and the matcha yuzu. They were both pretty good but we liked the tiramisu a bit more. The layout/service of the store however is a bit lacking. We were waiting to be seated for around 10 minutes as they had two signs - one sign that indicated that you should wait in a separate line if you wanted to be seated in the dining area and another sign that indicated that there is a separate line for a takeout order. The employee definitely saw us waiting for ten minutes and there was even a line forming behind us, but he ignored us ( and the place was not even that busy). The employee from behind the counter then yelled saying seating is open first come first serve. Could they not have said that earlier when we were all waiting in line for 10 minutes for a seat? After saying that, all the seats got taken by people who were ordering takeout. Not a very organized or mindful way of running the store. There's lots of seating available since it's located inside a mall. The cake has lots of small layers like crepes. I tried to Tiramisu and it was wonderful. The staff were friendly and they had some sort of assembly line going where it was ordered then the cake placed on a plate or in a to go box. We were surprised that one of the cakes was missing but grateful the people were kind and fixed their error. The cake was amazing! I'll definitely be returning to try more flavors. The first time I had this was in NYC (where all the great bakeries are) in the Plaza food hall.
