I've heard so many great things about this place. I was excited to finally come here! It's such a cute cocktail bar with lots of charming seating options, perfect for a date night. Honestly I'd revisit just for the aesthetic and ambiance. When my date and I arrived, there was no one to greet us, so we waited for a bit until we could be seated in the back of the bar. Lots of delicious cocktail options with creative names and unique ingredients. They were out of the ONE thing my date wanted, but I tried two drinks, which were both were light and refreshing. I loved the whole menu, which I can't say that about every bar I check out. Definitely want to try Lady Jane again (especially because they change their cocktail menu every once in awhile) and up this rating to 5 stars! read more

This is a super cute date spot. I love the decor inside - it very much caters to the millennial crowd. I like that it's half indoors, half outdoors, and being from out of town and not used to indoor dining, we got a seat on the steps, very close to the outside which was a nice middle ground. The waiters were super friendly, and humored me when I asked which cocktail came in the coolest cup. I ended up getting a tiki drink and the cheese plate. If my date hadn't been so drunk by the time we got there (we had 3 cocktails beforehand), I would've wanted to stay longer and order more. read more

I have been meaning to make it to Lady Jane for a while now and finally did last week. What a great little spot! Tucked away on 32nd with an unassuming street presence, Lady Jane has a gorgeous and cozy interior. There are lots of different seating options including what we referred to as the "special seats" that are on raised steps. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable and was quick to offer suggestions based on our preferences. Our drinks were delicious- especially some of the more creative cocktails. My only complaint would be that the seating in some areas is a bit tight, so you might end up seated closer to your fellow patrons than you might like. I will definitely be back to sample more of the menu soon! read more

Such a cute cocktail bar located in LoHi! We got there right at 4 when they opened and it was already pretty busy. We sat inside at their bar, they have mostly indoor seating with a small selection of outdoor seating. This place was so cute and had a nice quiet vibe while we were there. I am very picky about my espresso martinis so the one we got wasn't the best I've ever had. We also tried the "love on a wire" cocktail and it was extremely unique and flavorful! It looked like they were making a charcuterie board while we were there but not 100% sure what bar snacks they serve. Definitely stop by Lady Jane if you want to try out cool and interesting cocktails. Assuming they switch up the menu often we will definitely be back to try more :) Thanks Lady Jane!! read more

Don't get it twisted, this is the most well thought out cocktail bars out there. Top of the charts in my book. Lady Jane is not just your neighborhood cocktail bar. It is a whole mood. So when my original plans for drinks fell through, my friend and I decided to venture to Lady Jane for late night cocktails. I ordered the Dark Matter. From presentation to taste, I was impressed. Pleasantly sweet, the cocktail had a nice blend of scotch, amaro, pepper and celery bitters. Balanced. Bold. Sippable. Well done. After a friend joined us, I was feeling a second round. Considering that bourbon drinks are my staple cocktails, I stayed in this lane. I got the Yes, Sir. A blend of bourbon, brandy, chicory, dry curaçao and pechuga rinse. Incredible. Strong. Yes, Sir, I'll have another one. Service was 5/5. Our server was knowledgeable about the cocktails and offered his recommendations based on our taste preferences. I stopped into this place based on the great reviews and terrific-looking cocktail menu only to find it fully mobbed at 7:30 on a Thursday. It was way louder than I expected, but for a good reason: a Star Wars themed luau! Very silly. The cocktails were good (mine 2nd one was set on fire!) and there was surprise drag! Came here for drinks one night and loved it. My husband and I were able to get a cozy table. Much of the seating lends to an intimate atmosphere, even on a weekend night. I'm updating my review because the first one doesn't quite convey just what an amazing host/bartender Minetta is. Seriously...she has a way of making every guest feel special. We frequented her previous bar monthly. I'm sure there were a dozen or more patrons like us who visited that often. Yet Minetta remembers our names and our drink preferences and makes everyone feel like she is glad they stopped in. On a recent visit, we had invited another couple to celebrate a birthday. We arrived first, grabbed a table and Minetta chatted with us about what we were up to that night before heading back to the bar. As our friends walked through the door, our server brought us four small glasses of sparkling rose to celebrate. Our friends were impressed, and we felt like the coolest people in the room. The cocktail menu is great--we usually order one of their creations, though they make a great classic cocktail like a Manhattan. Best of all, every person on staff is friendly and charming and makes an excellent cocktail--or mocktail. Since I no longer living withing walking distance, sometimes I am the designated driver. This place is such a gem! Absolutely support the stricter COVID guidelines, which they explain when you get a table. They are not available on OpenTable and is first come first serve (there could be a wait). Overall, the vibe of the place is really high class and so different from the other bars around the area. Happy hours are daily from 4-6PM, and 4 dollars off regular drinks! Make sure to stop by! -DRINKS- Drinks were all light and refreshing. We got the island baby, gold rush and the daily cocktail which was more on the alcohol side. Our drinks were all pleasant and paired well with THE SPREAD which is a choice of 3 cheese & meats from that section. I loved this spot! We came here for a drink and apps before going to the Van Gogh show. Drinks were delicious and the charcuterie board options were perfect for what we were looking for! We picked a meat and cheese for the board and it came out with different tasty pairings. It was a bit pricey for the quantity- however worth it for a high quality, special night out. The ambiance was chic and designed for a hip crowd with beautiful plants, dimmed lighting, and creative table/seating layout. If you are looking to go have some odd tasting cocktails in a setting that offers you very uncomfortable sitting positions with very hard and uncomfortable chairs, then this place is right up your alley. This is not a comfortable bar by any means. All of the seating areas and chairs seems like they are built for small people. I felt like I was sitting on a ledge the entire two hours we were there. Live plants add a nice ambience, but that's really the only positive to this place in my mind. They had two beers on tap and both of them tasted very odd. The pilsner did not taste like a Pilsner and the imperial Stout definitely did not taste like an imperial Stout. The service was average. Not great but sufficient. read more

This is a great spot, with delicious, creative cocktails, as well as good snacks. Service is prompt, polite and attentive, and the bartenders definitely know what they are doing. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other places, but we happened to be there when everything was 50% off, which made it even better! I recommend getting different cocktails so everyone can try each others! The cheeses they offer are abundantly portioned. Skip the sweet drop peppers, but get the olives, pate and sardines. Host and bartenders have been great in the past, I estimated I spend over $5k over the years, referred and brought travel industry professionals from around the world there. Then there was a-hole AARON the bartender on Wednesday, July 2. My daughter was celebrating her bday and permanently leaving for her new life over seas. Best night at dinner and in such a great mood. Then went for a drink at Lady Jane and unfortunately got seated right in front of Aaron mixing drinks. Immediately, we notice his horrible energy...didn't even greet us. Then he isn't making our drinks and the place was not busy. After 20 minutes my daughter politely ask about our drinks and he snapped back with "have you been drinking"? She had one drink that night. Then he proceeded to ignore us and we finally got up and left...only after getting his name. It was so f#cked up and offensive. Thankfully, our table was ready at Williams and Graham, they provided excellent service as usual, and our night was saved. LADY JANE... either trained up or move AARON (sp?) OUT. There are simply not words to describe my deep, deep love of Lady Jane. I want this review to be poetic, worthy of such a fairytale experience, but I'm afraid even Shakespeare would fall short. I know you want to hear about the drinks, the ambiance, the snacks. And I promise we'll get there. But I would be remiss in not starting this tribute highlighting anything other than the gorgeous humans making the magic happen. Did I say I wanted to write poetry? I think maybe this is just a love letter dedicated to Erin, Stewart, and Lucas. Truly, the folks at Lady Jane have managed to bridge mind blowing cocktail technicalities and complexities you might find in Manhattan or London, with the relationship you yearn for as a regular at your local watering hole. Family vibes, but make it bougie. The drinks. LORD. The drinks. I don't know how that menu came to be, all I know is that the drinks are so perfectly executed, so consistent, and so unique that I would not be surprised in the least to find out that they spent years designing it. It's just *that good*. A recent addition called Next In Line - sazerac rye, bbq tincture, blackberry, lemon, and molasses - is the most surprising whiskey drink I've ever had the pleasure of sipping on. This drink should not work, but it does. And it does so impeccably. You are immediately transported barefoot to the grass out back of the family farm in Texas, anxiously waiting for the brisket to be done, sipping something refreshing to combat the heat. My boyfriends favorite, Devil's Only Friend, is a balanced, vibrant reposado cocktail involving rhubarb, honey, grapefruit, cardamaro and lime that makes you want to get up and dance. The Wild Rumpus is responsible for my wild birthday, a tiki drink to end all tiki drinks that was brought to me with a sparkler. Everything is just infused with pure joy and a whimsy that often feels lacking when indulging in "serious" cocktails. One day I will drink my way through the whole menu... Lady Jane offers a small menu of snacks. Cheeses and meats with bread and some accoutrements. It's delicious. I don't need to rant and rave, because Lady Jane just isn't about the food. That being said, we always make room for the charcuterie - it's sizable (they basically give you your own baguette), and you get to choose which meats and cheeses you want. Lastly. The ambience. Y'all. Plush couches. Large pothos plants hanging from above the bar like forestal chandeliers. Velvety lush greens and golds and textures that pull you in and convince you to stay a while. Good music. Good vibes. It's one of those places where, even when you know you really should try a new spot, you can't seem to convince yourself to go anywhere else. read more

Also tried one of their mock tails (rhubarb south side) out of curiosity. With great lighting, lots of cozy booths, tables and bar space, this hot spot is a super sexy locale to meet up and mingle with your friends or maybe make some new ones. Loved that they were playing Bruce Springsteen on vinyl. Good music is an important part of the vibe! Bartenders were friendly but not overly warm or engaging. We were there on a Thursday evening and the place was virtually empty so service was quick. So why only 4 stars? This place is for cocktails, and I just wasn't that impressed with either of mine or my husband's when I sampled his. My first one, the I Prefer Not, just tasted like mouthwash to me. My second, the Daisy Buchanan, was certainly better, but not memorable. Both were supposed to be egg white drinks, and the really GOOD bars deliver drinks with heaps of frothy goodness carefully whipped up and shaped by talented mixologists- these were sorely lacking. My husband liked his drinks more- he started with the Hunting Cap, which tasted like a relatively basic old fashioned type drink to me, then he had what I think is called the Oaxaca Old Fashioned, which was VERY smoky. I do have to concede that these drinks are about $3 cheaper then those I order at my fave cocktail hotspot. I would absolutely revisit Lady Jane in the future for the beautiful ambience, but may order wine instead. read more

Lady Jane is incredibly modern, stylish, and classy -- I felt like I was sipping cocktails in a beach-themed Crate & Barrel display, in the best way possible. Some of the best drink service I have received, with attentive and knowledgable wait staff. Lady Jane's drink menu is pretty extensive, with a wide mix of cocktails, wines, and hard liquors. I went with a cosmo and it was really tasty and strong. Definitely coming back to check out some of their other drinks!
