This small coffee shop and dessert is really IG aesthetic and cute. It's a quaint cozy clean space and a few tables. There's a colorful selection of chocolates and cakes. We purchased to try the honey cake and red velvet. They were moist and fresh tasting. The service was quick and friendly. Wish there was more variety of baked goods. We didn't try the coffee selection but the menu looked good with good prices.
Update. They seem to have refined their processes a bit, and those shelled fruit mousses are even better. They also introduced some new flavors. And, they finally got all the inspections done for the coffee drinks. Their coffee drinks are AMAZING--some of the best in the region. Adding a star. It's a favorite place. The day I was there, Gaard Swanson and the camera operator from Seattle Refined (KOMO 4) were visiting and shooting for an upcoming episode.
I have been wanting to buy some fruit-shaped mousse cakes ever since they've been blowing up on social media. There aren't many shops that sell these so I was excited to learn about Ladun. I arrived on a Tuesday afternoon around 2:30pm to the strip mall with dedicated parking and was happy to see that their case was fully stocked with gorgeous fruit-shaped mousse cakes of ALL TYPES. The ladies working there were friendly and helpful. I was concerned about how well the cakes would hold up on my 30 minutes drive home, but they assured me that it will last even an hour. So, obviously, I decided to purchase a bunch. I took their advice to choose the fruits that I typically like. The ones I tried so far were all lovely tasting. The chocolate shell was thin, but enough to hold it's structure on its own. As you bite into it, there is a satisfying snap of of the shell leading into the luxurious chocolate mousse and subsequent fruity center. The flavors were fresh, creamy, and very natural! Each "fruit" had a similar format: chocolate shell, mousse lightly flavored with the fruit, and a more concentrated fruity center. This is for the mousse lovers. If you are expecting cake and more texture, it would be better to get a different dessert. At $7-$14 per "fruit", they are quite pricey, however, the quality is there. The mousse was very stabilized and did survive the car ride home. Making these desserts require time and temperature sensitive processes and you can see that some of them have been airbrushed to add a touch of realism. Very much appreciated for those of us who "eat with our eyes".
Came on a Monday with the family. FYI- Plenty of parking. The dessert shop is clean, inviting and has a mellow vibe. The display case is total eye candy with all the desserts that look like something out of Willy Wonka or Alice in Wonderland. 10/10 delicious treats. Light, rich, smooth, creamy goodness. Give this a try. Need to go back to taste the sweet treats that I Missed! So much to choose from!
A beautiful little spot in Everett with plenty of parking on the way to Everett mall. The strip mall area it's in isn't super fancy but the sign on the establishment stands out. Inside it is bright, it's decorated and it has a kids corner. There are places to sit which is nice. They have a large selection of mousse cakes, two Russian cakes, some cheesecakes, cookies and a few more classic American cakes. Everything is plated beautifully, packaged beautifully, and tastes amazing. The service is average. And it a cafe / bakery so you go up to the counter and order, so it's not a service type of place. But definitely a unique spot. Cute place for couples or families
This is more of a 4.5 star for me. This place have been on go to places after seeing their pretty fruit desserts. They have a parking lot so parking isn't an issue. They are still in soft opening phase right now. It wasn't too busy but there was definitely a good amount of people who came after us. The person taking our order was really nice and suggested a few things for us. It was a very aesthetic place where you can sit and relax or work. Food: Peanut and passion fruit dessert: these were soooo good. I love that the flavor was really on point and the shape was very cute. It was a little pricey though but I don't think it's that bad. Macaron: delicious, love the flavor Honey cake: not the typical honey cake I'm used to but still pretty good. The flavor was good but I was missing the crunch. Mousse cheesecake: I love the inside, the exterior gelatinous shell was a little unexpected and not what I'm used to. The flavor was good though. Beside the fruit desserts, the price for these was very reasonable. Definitely would come back when I'm in the area.
Overall, I liked the dessert. We tried the fruit pastry, and it was fresh and tasty. However, I'm rating it lower because it felt overpriced for what you get. Also, the location is in Everett, not Bellevue, which might be confusing.
I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon and got a few sweets to go. It's a cute shop, and the staff were very attentive and efficient. They confirmed that they use real fruit in their products. I had the passion fruit, peanut, and pistachio flavors--all very delicious. The peanut stood out in particular for its rich, bold flavor. Overall, I enjoyed the sweets, but I probably won't return anytime soon due to the higher price point. Parking was easy since there is a parking lot.
These pastries! What the heck! So light and they taste amazing. The outside shell is very thin. The inside is gushing with a fruit puree, or in some cases a very flavorful cream. The peanut is great. The raspberry and the pear might be the best thing I have ever eaten. Seriously.
This is really a 3.5 star, but rounding up for the incredibly nice and helpful staff :) The artistry here is really cute and I'm so glad Everett has a place like this. However, the goodies are about $9-13 each and they're small. I know materials and time are worth it, but putting it out their for people so they're not surprised upon their visit. While their flavors are great, they're all the same creams and textures just different flavors for the fruit shaped treats, so not much variation there. But it was a great little weekend treat
It's a mousse world! Never had such delicious mousse desserts. These are delicate fruit shaped mousse desserts with a thin chocolate layer and a soft mousse with delicious fruits. Mango Mousse has a delicious mango pieces, the coconut one has a sweet coconut flavor with mango pieces. The pineapple one had sweet pineapple flavor and pieces. Lastly the macrons are amazing, probably the best in the world with flavor and softness. Had the chocolate one and strawberry milkshake and it was out of this world! I had similar ones at a different bakery but these guys have the best in terms of flavor, natural taste and they do charge for it. Each dessert was easily min of $12 but worth it! Friendly folks who serve these desserts in pretty boxes.
This place was pretty good! I really liked that they were not too sweet. We got peach, tangerine, and raspberry. Raspberry and tangerine were the best in my opinion. Almost all the fruit treats are gluten free, except the banana and latte. The servers were great, really nice. The lobby is still kind of sparse but since they are still in their soft opening it's kinda expected. The only thing holding it back from being 5 is the price point.
Delectable fruit mousse cakes and such a cute, clean shop, Ladun Treats is a gem in Everett! Prices are worth it for the craftsmanship IMO. I've been here twice and had the tropic, mango, pear, raspberry, and passionfruit. I love the tropic (my fave) and mango (my husband's fave). Excited to come back and try more!

Beautiful presentation. Nice delicate chocolate with a light mousse inside and a small amount of fruit. Fun to try, but honestly for the price it didn't do it for me. Felt like they could use another element like a crunchy cookie. Raspberry and mango had the most flavor. Pineapple and pear were so subtle they almost weren't recognizable. The cream was still delicious. read more
Came in today and got the Raspberry, Mango, peach and pear dessert treats. I recommend the Raspberry and Peach, they were so delicious and came slightly frozen which was such a pleasant surprise. The pear was okay; the mango tasted out of season. They were also definitely way smaller than i expected like the size of my palm but they were a fun experience and it's adorable inside. read more

I've gone here another half a dozen times as a reward after a hard work week. I really feel they upgraded their ingredients from 4 months ago! Each flavor is so much more pronounced and the filling is much more! My absolute favorites are the pear, mango and (the new) pistachio! Wow! The pistachio has an awesome filling up soft cake and a crunch. Love this place! read more

I loved the macarons and mousse cakes. The raspberry mousse was a lovely taste of tart and sweet. The staff were wonderful. I came later in the day, so they sold out of some flavors. It was worth the drive. read more

The treats are beautiful and the quality is very good. However, they taste mostly like flavored air--mostly mousse with just a few small pieces of fruit. For the price, I was expecting a bit more substance. If there were a small layer of cake inside, it would have been perfect. Overall, it's a very light dessert read more

Great taste, a bit too sweet for me but still great, the flavors and natural fruit inside makes you eat more and more. The service was very helpful since it was my first time with my fiancée and the vibe of the store was cozy. As is a small establishment and is very popular you'll have to wait a bit to get your order, however, it worths every second read more

These were pretty good but not the biggest peach fan! It was expensive for how small they were but overall I give them 7.5/10, spent about $50ish for all 4. The workers were friendly :) and the inside was gorgeous! read more

YALL!!! This place is an absolute DREAM. I'm from Virginia, and we have a spot back home that's kind of similar to this--but honestly, it does NOT even come close to comparing. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is immaculate. Lana & Sofia are truly AMAZING--the sweetest girls ever and so incredibly welcoming. They make you feel comfortable right away, give you your space, and never make you feel overwhelmed, which I really appreciated. Everything about the experience felt effortless and relaxing and the pastries were AMAZING!!!! I cannot recommend the raspberry one enough! I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is genuinely UNREAL, and I will 100% be back. If you're even thinking about coming here--DO IT. read more

Let's start with the fact we were missing one of our pastries. We ordered two of five different items, and were shorted a mango flavored pastry. It just goes downhill from there. The first thing we tried was the coconut ($14 each). I was expecting to be wowed by the flavor but it was just so lacking. I don't know another word for how plain it was. From there we sampled the mousse Cheesecake Mango Passion Fruit($9 Each). We cut two slices and the remainder of that one as well as the second one we purchased are still in the box. There was nothing mango or passion fruit about it. The taste was just off. Then we tried the peach($10 each), the pineapple($12 each) and finally the sole mango ($13 each). There was nothing delicious about any of these, no exciting flavors that made them stand out, and certainly not worth the prices. I was so excited about this place and now I'm just incredibly disappointed I didn't try one before spending $127 plus a tip. read more

They have the viral fruit shaped mousse cakes! So nice to be able to try these locally. I will say these are smaller than the other viral bakeries but still very beautiful and delicious. Haven't tried anything else there yet but I plan to! read more

Don't waste your money. 2 pastries cost me $27. It's insane I've had the ones in NYC for less and they taste 10x better. We got the mango and raspberry. The mango tastes so artificial like there wasn't a single piece of fresh fruit made in it. I spent so much and didn't even finish them because they were so gross. The raspberry was better but not by much. The inside is mostly just the mousse filling with 1-3 small chunks of fruit. The outside shell was so thin I couldn't even really hold it. Other places do it better and cost cheaper. Please save your money!! read more

I got the TikTok viral treats, they did not live up to the expectations. Everything was BLAND they have potential to be better ! The crunch and texture was nice UNTIL you got to the weird hard jelly cube in the middle also was BLAND . I would rate them. 2/10 read more

Service is great! The main event in this bakery is the fruit mousse cakes. I ordered one of all of the fruit mousse cakes. Top three: cafe which is coffee bean, raspberry and banana. They have other flavors which go from mango, pear, passion fruit, peanut, strawberry, blueberry and orange. The tart ones have most flavor range. Nothing is rated below a 9 out of 10. More have exceeded 10 rather than disappoint. Looks of the mousse cakes are gorgeous which are 100 out of 10. For what you are getting the price is 10 out of 10. Depending on the fruit you order it ranges between $7-$11 dollars. If your lactose intolerant beware bc mousse is very creamy. I also ordered two macaroons: raspberry and dubi chocolate, both good and great price point less than 8$ each. Once again mousse has dairy so beware if intolerant. Lastly the mousse bento cake for 35$. It's a great cake for celebrations for kids or couples. Not large enough for more than about 3 people. It's a mousse cake so once again dairy. Got 2 cake pops for kiddos and gone in three bites, about $2-$3 dollars. Got an iced Americano and coffee was good but not worth an hour trip. However the heart straw made me smile. Flew from Colorado and drove 3 hours in total round trip to get these fruit cakes and I would do it all over again every time. Worth an experience. All together the price all in was 324$. Go get them before the secret is out about this amazing bakery. read more

All of them taste plain or either taste like straight perfume, the ladies in there that server us felt inexperienced in there job, they didn't even know how to count the change when returning it, the people who were sitting in there were looking at us up and down like we couldn't belong in there, including the workers. read more

I love their crunchy mousse filled fruits. They are spendy, but I think so worth it. It is a treat, meaning you do not need to eat 6 a day lol. I have tried another local that makes these treats and Ladun is, in my opinion, much better. The quality of her crunchy fruits exceeds the other place I have tried, and I swear just keeps getting better each time I visit! TIP: do not expect the fruit to taste as they look. For example, the mousse filling is not going to be a strong flavor; it will be subtle, creamy, light and refreshing. There will be a small fruit filling in the middle of the mousse that more resembles the actual fruit. The raspberry will have raspberry filling, the lemon will have lemon, the pineapple will have pineapple and so on and so forth. The cherries, you will expect a cherry flavor; but the mousse is a light milk chocolate very delicate flavor, with the fruit filling. Not what I expected, but so delicious!
