Excellent service from front desk to dentist. I feel very COMFORTABLE here. I've been to many dentist and this is by far the BEST!

I'm extremely disappointed with the treatment my elderly mother received at this dental office. After months of implant treatment, the final crown was placed incorrectly, injured her gum, and was visibly too short and nonfunctional. A second dentist confirmed that she now needs a new abutment and a completely new crown. Despite the unsuccessful treatment, they did not provide a full refund. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this office for major dental work. read more

This was such an amazing experience. I went for the first time this week and had all of my dental needs met. Everyone from the front office staff to the dental assistants were kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I am usually an anxious patient but the staff made me feel at ease. The office is thoughtfully set up, with a mission statement posted, raffle, snacks and water in the waiting room, and a comfort menu for patients in each treatment room. I'm thankful to have found this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dentist! read more

I got 2 crowns done by this dentist office and they did a shitty job. The second I left that office I was in pain. I came back multiple times and all they did was file both crowns down! They look like baby teeth now! I was charged $1500 for this to later find out I need a root canal on the first crown which they were going to charge me $1000 or they said if I wanted to wait for my insurance to kick in it would be cheaper!! This whole "we care about you" is a bunch of BS! All they care for is the money!!!! A root canal should have been done from the beginning. Now l'm in debt for a job that was done horribly. I ended up going to a different dentist for a second opinion and he said they did a horrible job! He sent me to a root canal specialist and he said it was infected!!!! Wtf!!!! From October 2023 to February 2024 I was in pain! read more

Good Part: The office is well equipped. The dentists and hygienists are very well mannered and very well trained. Everyone is welcoming. Bad Part: Every single visit feels like a sales pitch. You have to be very careful for "extra" services that are not covered or only partially covered by your insurance to be added. I have spent thousands for services that could be have been much less costly and covered my excellent insurance policy from one of the largest technology companies in the world. My children whose teeth are nearly perfect were constantly being pressured to start on the invisalign treatment course. I was told I needed a specialized cleaning which again was going to be very expensive and out of pocket. When I explicitly asked to just go with the regular cleaning I was refused once by the hygienist and then again by the dentist. I since had found another dentist Dr Edward Moon and have never looked back. Not only do I receive exceptional care with zero sales pitch. The cleaning services I get I 100% covered by my insurance and I have made a tremendous progress in my dental and gum health in under a year and with zero out of pocket cost. read more

Had a really good experience here. Was treated with a lot of respect and care by everyone: from the front office staff to the hygienist and dentist. They are very caring to your needs and comfort. They literally have a menu to help you get settled that offers light blocking glasses, a blanket, a squish ball, water, etc. they are definitely my favorite place because of the perfect combination of care and skill that they have. read more

I'm going to start off by saying "I hate going to the dentist, doctor, etc". I'm the type of person that typically won't go unless I'm in major pain or feel like I'm dying. So now that I'm trying to take care of my teeth and avoiding dentures and wanting to keep my teeth for as long as possible, I have to admit that the team at Ladera Dentistry is truly great. I've been going for about 3 years now and the office is always super clean, appointment times are always met, dentists are honest and have soft hands, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I'm terrified of the dentist, so the fact that I am giving this place 4 stars is a rare occurrence. Just to be clear: I am not terrified of Dr. Mai. On the contrary, she is literally one of the nicest, most polite and accommodating dentists I've ever worked with. I'm just scared of getting any dental procedures done, but that's not their fault at all. The staff here is great. Everyone is polite, knowledgeable, and professional. It is relatively easy to get an appointment. The waiting room is kind of small but it's very clean and comfortable. On top of that, the staff is very gentle when it comes to the dental procedures. I've been to dentists where it felt like they were practicing torture techniques, but everyone here is very conscientious. They are very passionate about flossing and the water pik, though. If you don't use those things everyday like you're supposed to, they KNOW it and they will call you out LoL. Overall probably the best dentist I've had, and I've been through a few. Addendum: they also offer Saturday appointments. I really appreciate that. read more
