A lot of incorrect information in regards to Invisalign and veneers for my teeth. Both orthodontics and oral surgeon disagreed with what Dr Facer mentioned with my deep bite. Very expensive and not forthright with pricing. First time using them for my son's small one surface filling. They would not give me pricing before. Was told after, not in network, but have a PPO. My out of pocket is over $250. Insurance said this was extremely high and what a three or four surface filling could be, not a one surface. I will not return. read more

the one thing I asked them to do is not upsell me. The first appt was 2 hours and I understand that. I went back for my cleaning and it was okay at first then the conversation went to what I should be doing for my teeth and why my toothpaste isn't sensodyne and that I should be using my Waterpik at level 10. Then she asked me if I referred anyone. I said no and she said you should! Why? Is coming here all referral based? Do you get commission? We are not realtors begging for money are we? I've been coming to this dentist for a few years now for cleanings and recently got 10 veneers. I have to say this is the best dentist in Orange County and is different than your typical dentist. After moving to a new state, it took me a while to find a great dentist who took into consideration my dental wants and needs. I'm so glad I found Hales Parker Facer, everyone is very welcoming and they keep their office very nice and clean. The dental hygienists are very knowledgeable about dental health and I have always had great experiences. I ended up getting 10 veneers on my top teeth with Dr. Tyler Hales in December last year and the process was so easy that I wish I would have done it sooner. I chipped my front tooth as a kid and needed it replaced so I decided to do all the showing top teeth. I work in the aesthetic industry and have always wanted a perfect smile and teeth. Dr. Hales did just that! For the first appointment, I got a test drive smile, which was temporary for the day that went over your teeth so you can get a feel for what they will look like. I then scheduled the temporary teeth that you kept on for a couple of weeks before the final veneers were placed. They make you very comfortable. I didn't feel anything after the numbing and we're only sore for about a week. My teeth look so natural that no one ever guesses they are veneers. I highly recommend Dr. Hales!! read more

My family has been seeing Dr. Hales and Dr. Parker for the past year, and we are so sad to leave now that we're moving out of state! They're both fantastic dentists: approachable, kind, and focused on providing excellent care. As a new patient, you begin with an in-depth conversation/intake appointment which is a wonderful opportunity to discuss concerns, sensitivities, etc. before beginning an initial treatment plan. Our "regular" cleanings and fillings have been great, and the hygienist is so good with our toddler! A very "no pressure" visit where we talked about brushing our teeth and the tools the dentist uses, but since our daughter didn't want to be brushed, she didn't have to be (such a change from her other dentist!). Last summer I had a pin hole surgery for gum recession (both uppers and lowers), and the process was so smooth! They were very clear up front about costs and scheduling, and the procedure itself is NOTHING compared to the traditional "grafting" technique I had done about a decade ago that required stitches and a lengthy recovery. The pin hole procedures were completed in two visits (one for each jaw), with follow-up appointments for both to ensure everything healed correctly. I had zero issues, and the surgery itself is as comfortable as possible (numbing my gums, but not knocked out). Recovery is much faster and comfortable than traditional gum grafts. We're very sad to be leaving Dr. Hales & Dr. Parker and their wonderful team (special thank you to Alyssa for being so awesome with our insurance and admin questions!). I've been going there for a few years now and sent my family there. The staff is nice, but the practice has grown far too quickly. I have had to have procedures repeated (including a crown that was repeated 4X). The last few times I saw the actual dentist briefly and was then given to an assistant who had been "trained" with a certificate. The very last time I had to beg to actually see the dentist at all even though I had been having substantial difficulty. And I have now had to go to another dentist to fix it. Very nice clean practice and seem to have the latest technical equipment. Costs have increased and service decreased as they have been growing. They are also heavily pushing cosmetic procedures, probably as their overhead as increased. Too busy now - recommend avoiding as a new patient and making sure you will actually be seeing the dentist when you make an appointment. read more
