No markings for names or sizes on all slabs, so you have to ask what they are if you are a beginner like me. Since we wanted 6 - 7 slabs, of course I need some help, Tamer was not willing to spend atleast 5 mins patiently, he was rude, condescending, pushes us to buy right that moment. He even made fun of us for coming a second time, stating you did not last time so I will increase the price, we felt mocked. We drove from Austin , and 8hr round trip twice as wanted to do business with them. He was patient with another white customer who had tons of questions but maybe profiled us, no one should feel this way. If Tamer does not want to spend time ask another associate to help us, why be mean and mock people? Within 5 minutes, he said I will be inside of you want to order, it's Ramadan, what does Ramadan have to do with business? Why open the store then ?

So for years we have been SLOWLY trying to upgrade our furniture from mass produced styles. We had…read morea really great coffee table we bought online. It was exactly what we were looking for design wise and a really good deal, but within a year, the particle board legs broke off one at a time and the top had bubbled up from water drops. Knowing that the table wasn't worth saving, but knowing I wanted something just like it, I resumed my search for a better quality table. During a random visit to a friends' house, I had the fortune of seeing one a Pioneer Wood and Steel piece and immediately asked friend where she purchased. She told me about Leer and Greg and gave me PW&S number. I am familiar with custom made works and the handcrafting that goes into creating a beautiful piece of furniture. Leer came to the house to look at the table, take measurements and give us a quote. At the time, he gave us his idea to replicate the table in real wood - and boy were we in for a surprise when we found out how much real wood cost! We literally tabled the idea, it took a while to wrap my head around paying that much for a piece of furniture. In the end, I knew it was the most favored piece of my husbands. So for our 10th anni, I secretly contacted Leer and told hubby the legs gave out and were being repaired. Little did he know that we were replicating the table in real walnut wood. It wasn't until I saw photos in progress that I realized that we hadn't just bought a table, but a functional piece of art. The love these guys put in to this table shows, and we are so happy with the result. So when you are ready for that first, adult furniture piece, be sure to contact Pioneer Wood and Steel, you will not be disappointed with the art that they will deliver!
