We got there while happy hour was going on but there was no one there. Columbia/Joshua was at the door, very friendly and willing to make sure we were welcomed to stay. We decided to walk around for a little. He let us know they have free parking behind the restaurant. There are limited spaces but there is also plenty of street parking. When we returned there was still no one there but we decided to stay anyways. Columbia provided the best customer service, some of the best that I've had in a very long time. And this is coming from someone who worked in hospitality. He made suggestions, was attentive, and very welcoming. The music playing was a vibe and he made sure that we were happy. The coconut margarita and Passionfruit margarita drinks were on happy hour. Both could have been better. The Passionfruit didn't taste like Passionfruit and was kind of bitter. The coconut one was missing the creamy coconut flavor and we were told management decided to change the ingredients . Not the best drinks but not the worse. Also they should let you know there's a $2 upcharge for flavors on the happy hour drinks. The monfonguito basket was sooo good. Highly recommend. Small but all packed so much flavor. I had the fried rice which was good and tried the pasta with the pink sauce with shrimp as an add on. I would say that they should give more shrimp and the portion size could have been better. It presents to be big because of the bowl but it's a shallow dish. The hookah was on point. It was $30. Flavor was good and it was smooth. We got it refilled for $20 which I think is high. I think in general this place is pricey. Spent over $200 but i didn't stick to the happy hour menu. All in all I would definitely come back as I hear this place gets packed and has a much different vibe at night. Ask for Columbia, he's an excellent server!

Grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and "mimosa"

My friends and I visited for brunch. They have a brunch menu that starts at $25 and included unlimited mimosas. The mimosas were not strong at all and lacked champagne. Our waitress was nice but she kept forgetting to refill our mimosas and we had to keep asking her to. They claim to be unlimited but after a few refills she told us that she couldn't refI'll them anymore. This wouldn't be a problem if they drinks tasted like they had champagne but unfortunately it was very deceiving. The music and the ambiance was good and the portion sizes were OK. I would prefer to try another brunch spot next time that will be worth my money.

I really was excited for this place and had high hopes . We arrived practically when they opened Sunday and sat right away as we had reservations.Music was good but that's where it ended unfortunately.Server was hovering over us with giving amble time to look over the menu.Yes,he did walk away and come back but in a blink of an eye . Again, only 1 table there .Order in! Mimosas were good.Appetizers okay.I got the calamari and steak in egg off their Beunch menu .$38 for app, side (only for entree that aren't sushi ),bottleless mimosa and entree.Great deal......If the food was good and portioned accordingly. Hubby got Mofongo with "mystery churrasco " because the rubbery beef jerky wasn't it . Got my kids the brunch also, replaced with fountain drink .Bill comes and lemonade ..get this! Wasn't included and they attempted to charge us for refills .$40 for just the kids lemonade poured. Im a huge foody and brunch goer. When the service and quality is there ,I have no issue with the bill amount .But $215 for party of 4 and have to go home to still cook a full meal because everyone is hungry isn't it . Also,18% gratuity included.I love that because some ppl are cheap tippers.while looking over bill, but jot questioning, the Very tacky and unprofessional waiter at that moment, decided it would be a good idea to pouch for additional tip saying "18% included is shared with entire staff and additional just for me..fyi" With some more time and restructuring, this place can be a great spot ONE DAY. Especially being a sister location from NY.It's a miss! I will say it is very esthetically pleasing .Mens Bathroom was out of order ,so the womens was all we had .Atleast something nice to look at during the wait. To sit back ,dance and drink ,maybe.

Went in while waiting for our hotel check in, seen this on tiktok ofc. Gorgeous set up, we came in at around 230/3 in the afternoon so it was empty for awhile. Only 2 tables filled in after. We ordered lots of sushi and it was really good. Different. But good. My fav was the Miami roll. We ordered like 5 rolls , music was fun. Ladies, check out the restroom lol. Photo op for sure. Oh and we had the coconut marg happy hour. Yum. They have an 18% service charge too, read on menu. Check them out if your in the area

We went for brunch and they have a brunch special which is $25 for unlimited mimosas and you choose an appetizer and entree with a side for an additional price. The drinks were not strong and we had to constantly ask our server to refill them because the "unlimited mimosas" are only for an hour and a half. For appetizers, they were out of the croquette and the calamari so the only options were mozzarella sticks (3) and wings (4). The food was good, I had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes. My boyfriend had the steak and eggs with rice and beans and my friend had the Dominican sushi. We shared and everything was very delicious. Our server was really nice and there was good music playing (mostly Spanish music). We spent $71 each which we didn't think was worth it for: 3 mozzarella sticks, chicken and mashed potatoes and weak mimosas. Although the food is good, there are much better brunch options in fort lauderdale that are worth your money so I don't think we'd come back here.

Labios Kitchen & Lounge has great potential. Me and a friend decided to go on a Friday night and I was surprise at how empty it was. The waiter was nice, the food was good I had the lamb chops with mash and a margarita which was made well. The music rotation was very enjoyable, also my friend had hookah which was a great price and lasted all night. Hopefully the next visit there's more people in house.

I guess they ran out napkins, so Jennifer gave us napkins from the Bathroom!!

Nice Music & Atmosphere, and Food!! Service to say the least was HORRIBLE!!! Jennifer was our waitress. She was dis-engaged, and forgetful. Jennifer blamed the very attentive Bus Boy for no utensils. We basically started eating with our hands after waiting for a least an hour for food. Thumbs Down!!!!!!

Food is overpriced and the portions are on the smaller end. Not worth the price. I don't know if it's like this all the time or they just skimped our table. The hookah was alright (not the best I've had). However, they had one of the best lychee martinis I've tried. If you go, try it! We missed happy hour but the menu for it seemed good. Will be returning to try it out.

Came in early for happy hour place was fairly empty. Happy hour appetizer prices were great so I tried the calamari, wings, and mozzarella sticks. Food was just ok. Labios Golden 24kt sushi roll was really good. Hookahs weren't expensive and were very smooth. Drinks were good I had the Hennessy Passion and the Dextrosa drink in the bag. Bag drink was very sweet. Customer service was very good although they spoke little English. DJ wasn't there at the time I came.

Atmosphere was amazing. The food was very flavorful and the portions were a good size. A little pricy but, you get what you pay for. It was evident in the attentive of the server, greeter, even the person who cleared the table. It's rare you find good food and service.

I've been seeing pictures of the aesthetics on my social media & being that I'm a foodie I said I have to try them out . It sucks when people on social don't like to tell you the name of restaurants which then in turns turn you into a detective but anyway ... went here tonight with the girls and the vibe was amazing . At first we kind of had the place to ourselves which was great we really got to enjoy the whole vibe and scenery . Our waiter Carlos was amazing he had amazing energy and so fun , funny & bubbly. We will definitely be back to enjoy the lounge experience of it.

I came here for the first time for my birthday. The drinks, music, and service was very nice. I had the famous IV drink and it was delicious ! They also have hookah. This is a great meet up and chill spot. Highly recommend!

Was visiting Hollywood , stopped at labios the food was was pretty good , the music was good as well and the atmosphere was fun .

When we questioned it, we were told that another restaurant across the street was charging a $50 cover for the game, but that has nothing to do with the prices this restaurant advertised to its own customers. If prices are going to change for a specific game or event, that should be clearly disclosed before people order, not after they receive the bill. IG: @shallonztable El Tiesto Cafe in Fort Lauderdale is one of those hidden gems you might pass by if you're not paying attention and that would be a mistake. Th From the outside, it's unassuming. Step inside and you're met with neon accents, an industrial-style space, and a thoughtful blend of Dominican and Japanese décor through the art work that reflects exactly what the menu delivers: balance, culture, and intention. The menu offers a solid mix of appetizers, sandwiches, sushi, and entrées all weaving Dominican comfort with Japanese-inspired elements. The music sets the tone perfectly: upbeat, vibey, and not overpowering, so you can actually enjoy conversation. It's family friendly as there was a mix of various groups and ages enjoying the establishment. Dining is available both indoors and outdoors, with an upstairs lounge that opens later in the evening for DJ sessions on weekends making this a great dinner-to-night-out spot. It's conveniently located just before the train tracks, with paid street parking and nearby lots available. Service stood out immediately. When we arrived, managers were hands-on and present, explaining that things pick up later in the night. I noticed Rollo in particular consistently welcoming guests, walking them through the menu, seating them, and pointing out essentials like restroom locations. That kind of consistency matters. The entire staff was attentive, friendly, and made the experience feel easy. What We Ordered & Loved: Mini Mofongos - Beef & Chicken ($15) Served in green plantain cups, these mini mofongos were savory, garlicky, and comforting. Both meats were juicy and well-seasoned. Picadera de Campo Sampler ($38) A Dominican-style platter with sausage, chicken wings, fried cheese, salami, fried green plantain, and yuca fries. This sampler brought full Dominican vibes to the table. I'm not usually a wings person, but these were naked, well-seasoned, and surprisingly good. That Yuca came topped with chimichurri sauce, that was a rich harmonious blend herbs and garlic coming through and man it was delicious along with everything on the platter. And fried cheese? Always a yes. Great portion, great presentation, perfect for sharing. La Chapi Roll ($18) Chicken tempura, bacon, cream cheese, ripe plantain, chicharrón, eel sauce, sweet chili, bell peppers, and mashed avocado. Now let me be clear -- I am not a sushi lover. But this? One of my favorite dishes of the night. The crunch, the sweetness from the chili sauce, the richness of the tempura, every bite delivered balance of everything. This roll is a must-order, especially if sushi usually isn't your thing. Tiesto Chofan ($20) Dominican-style fried rice we had the mix of chicken and shrimp, it was layered, perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and packed with flavor, they didn't hold back on the protein. This is one of those dishes I'd recommend to everyone, comforting, bold, and satisfying and balanced with the ripe plantains. La Cosquillita ($26) 24-hour Dominican-seasoned baby back ribs glazed in a homemade Japanese BBQ sauce, served with sushi rice and tostones. You can smell the ginger in the sauce before the first bite, and it creates a cohesive, balanced flavor that pairs beautifully with the fresh sushi rice and plantains. It's a balance of ginger in the bbq sauce that makes the dish interesting, the meat was tender and flavour forward. Tiesto Tres Leches ($8) Flavor-wise, it's very vanilla forward, but I personally wished the cake was more soaked. It was light, still enjoyable just not my favorite dish of the night. The flavor of the milk was amazing, spiced and flavourful and would make it even better if soaked a bit more. Extras Worth Noting 20% Service charge is automatically included. Street paid parking is available. They offer nightly specials . I do like they had a Saturday specials, and unlike most places, Saturday 2x1 drink special on mojitos, margaritas, sangria from 3pm-5pm which makes this an easy early-evening stop. Overall, El Tiesto Cafe delivers on atmosphere, service, and flavor. It's a place where cultures meet, food tells a story, and the vibe carries you from dinner into the night. Unfortunately, the service has been a huge disappointment the last two times I've visited. As you can see from my photo, the restaurant wasn't busy at all, so there really wasn't a reason for the delays. We sat at our table waiting for someone to take our order while our waitress continued helping other tables and never came to ours. It wasn't until I asked for our server that she finally came over to take our order. After that, we waited nearly 40 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, most of it was only semi-warm. The only dish that came out fresh and hot was the steak tostones, which were delicious. Everything else, including the other entrées and sides, was lukewarm and honestly disappointing. What makes this even more frustrating is that this wasn't my first experience like this. I had previously visited with a friend and received the same poor service and semi-cold food. I decided to give Yarumba another chance by coming back with my daughter, hoping the first visit had just been an off day. Sadly, nothing had changed. It seems like the staff spends more time talking amongst themselves than checking on customers or making sure food is coming out promptly. Good food and a fun atmosphere can only make up for so much when the service consistently falls short. At this point, I don't see myself coming back for dinner. If I do return, it would only be to sit at the bar for drinks. I truly hope management addresses these issues because the restaurant has a lot of potential.

They're open quite late, so it was nice to have the option on UberEats for delivery past midnight! **Yarao-- fries topped with a layer of melted cheese and chicken, smothered in another layer of mayo and ketchup. Pretty sweet and tasty, enjoyed this one :) ** Fritura Mixta / Mixed fried plate-- big platter of fried pork belly, cheese, chicken, beef, sausage, sausage links, and plantains. Meats were mostly dry and needed to be dipped in sauce. I liked the fried cheese, which were hearty and squishy like poutine curds and the sausage links, while friends liked the plantains (which were also tasty the next day!). Nice to try the variety, but wouldn't order again since we didn't finish most of it. ** Mofongo-- came with fried pork belly and sausages plus lettuce swimming in mayo. Friends told me the mofongo usually has a meat filling in the middle, but this version was an entire mound of the same plantain mixture and texture. It was dry and hard to cut even with a plastic knife, and it was actually hard for me to swallow too but would probably benefit by dipping in sauce or ketchup. ** Burrito-- description on the menu was not very.. descriptive, but it was filled with steak, lettuce, tomatoes, and the mayo/ketchup sauce. This was an overall juicy and flavorful item, but the steak was stark contrast and pretty dry, making it hard to tear or bite off pieces. This burrito was my favorite of the meal! ** Pizza Empanada-- There was lot of fried shell to get through on the sides before reaching the middle filled with cheese and pizza sauce. Pretty tasty, quite oily~ ** Chicken tacos-- came with little cups of hot sauce and salsa + lime halves, but the shredded meat was super dry and literally hard to swallow. We didn't make it past one bite. Overall, happy to try them and filled us up for a late meal when options were limited but I'm sure there are better places for Dominican food out there. I would choose the burrito if trying this place again.

I like to take my food home and eat in the comfort of my home. My favorite things to order here are the chimi (dominican burger), and their fried chicken with tostones. It's a great place to grab some fast food after a night out.
