This is the most inept, incompetent and unprofessional office I have ever been inside of (That includes ANY type of medical office) Three visits. Three excuses why they couldn't get my pre-authorized screening done. What should have been a simple screening took 5 visits. I am a healthcare provider and I called to get more info on their regulations for a screening due to covid and the receptionist was NOT the nicest. First of all, she gave me the wrong number to "customer service" when all I needed was the regulations to this specific facility and second, maybe being a little nicer to patients, even if its over the phone is not a bad idea. Only went here because my work makes us do biometric screenings through LabCorp. Luckily wasn't charged since my employer pays for it. But I sure had to pay for parking. It's so ridiculous that hospitals charge for parking and that LabCorp won't validate. Then I checked in early and wasn't seen til 15 minutes past my appt time. Yet if the patient is 15 minutes late, they cancel your time and you get in line as a walk in. What a scam. read more

I always go here since it's close to me and they are open on Saturday's which is very convenient. If you want to call them though, forget it. They never pick up their phones. There is a Recording and if you want to speak to someone in the lab, you hold on but they won't ever pick it up. Ever. So don't even bother to call them you will get frustrated. I called them to see if they were open on a holiday and after several tries I just drive over there. They were open and not busy at all. read more

I have been here a few times and haven't had a horrible experience yet like the other reviews. The first time it was in the afternoon and there was no wait. Most recently, I came in the morning and there were people waiting as well as a line forming to sign in. However, it worked like a well oiled machine and the wait was not too long. I did not have an appointment for either time. As far as the blood draws go, it was quick and easy and I was in and out within 3 minutes. The only downside was the parking. There is a lot where the first 20 minutes are free but they don't validate so parking will be $2. To avoid that, park on Bassett and walk through the back side of the dialysis lot. read more

Went there to get a drug screen and they told me that they don't do those until 12pm. She also told me that once the room clears that I would be able to get it done. It was 7am and there was already about 8 people in front of me. Because I have nothing better to wait until their whole workload is done. I have things to do. They need to better their system. This is ridiculous. What kind of stuff is that? Every place I have been too does them both simultaneously. They can't walk and chew gum? I guess not. Also would be nice if their website specified that information. I know because i was looking on it to get some information on what i needed to bring to get my panel done and even that information was vague. Doesn't help people who are doing job drug screens. If there were 0 stars I would give that . BEWARE. The Phlebotomist Carlos with glasses and white hair yelled my name in front of all the patients in the lobby . I said yes for the 3rd time I also projected loudly when he called my name the first time . When I walked to the counter he looked at me and yelled my name again. He projected and asked what I was there for he practically yelled in front of everyone . I explained my lab order was in the system and lab order needed to be taken was circled on the sheet . However , I responded blood work because I was so shocked. It is illegal and against patient privacy to say aloud what I'm there for in front of the patients in the lobby . Then he asked for my insurance card and questioned how I was going to pay 3 times . Upon saying that my dr had already submitted the order. He said I needed to call and that he couldn't find anything in the system . After getting in contact on my end my dr said that everything ; lab orders , address to be billed and drs name was on the sheet that was provided to labcorb which was the paper in front of him. After many minutes of harassment and going back and forth . I was seen at 1P when my appointment was 12:15 in which I was on time for with the same information I gave to start with . His procedure in taking my blood was rough and when he dismissed me he didn't label my blood specimen. When I said I was not leaving until my tubes were labeled was when he let me check my name . I would never recommend my even family member I didn't like to go there. This person works for health and patient care . He is the contributor as to why healthcare model is at its decline . After reading so many negative reviews, I came to my appointment expecting the worst. I brought lots of things to do because of all the complaints about long wait times. However, I had a great experience! Everyone was courteous and respectful. I did not have an appointment but still was seen very quickly. The staff was very organized. They have you do the paperwork on a tablet and it was super quick. I had my blood drawn and it was painless. My phlebotomist was also very knowledgeable and kind. It was a really easy experience. I was happy that I did not get anything done that I had brought! Parking is a bit complicated because it's an odd structure and the spots can be very tight, but I just circled for awhile until something decent opened up. My advice would be to give yourself time to park (and to bring stuff to do in case I was just lucky). read more

I did everything you're supposed to do when you prepare to go to one of these places - made my appointment, made sure to arrive 15 minutes early, checked in by phone per instructions before my appointment time, had all necessary paperwork and payment ready to go, waited in the car until they called me for my 2pm appointment... then I waited some more... and some more... and NOBODY answered a damn phone the whole time I WASNT being called or texted or emailed to come inside. While Covid rages thru this area of LA, I'd be an idiot to walk inside with a building full of people. When I FINALLY got this guy on the line at 2:46, after waiting 45 minutes, he had the fucking nerve to COMPLAIN that I was yelling at him, and after lying to me that he had *tried* to call me over and over (NOPE. I went in for bloodwork but had not fasted. they checked me in and said I all set up just come in tomorrow. I came in the next day and they asked for my paperwork. I said they said just come in, don't you have it? So I had to go home and get my copy. I checked the occult blood sample container then I gave it to them with their paperwork and said 'great you already put my info on it'. When I left they gave me a different kit that did not have the absorbent paper, it had a blank collection tube, not the one with my info on it, and no return mail envelope, and the biohazard bag had a large cut in it. the initial mistake of failing to fast was mine but the other mistakes are theirs and it took me a w hole day and it still isn't done because I still don't have a complete occult blood sample kit.I had to take three busses each way. It was the loss of a w hole day, I have to ask them to send me a complete kit. read more

I went there for a pre-employment drug screen. Wait time was minimal and the staff were nice. Got in and out of there within 15 minutes, which is about what I'd expect. Advice to all - if you're going for a drug screen, be sure you drink at least a quart or two of water 1 hour before you have to produce the sample. And, don't eat anything with poppyseeds in it for at least 3-4 days before the screen. AND finally...don't do any drugs because you probably won't get hired or they'll revoke the offer. read more

Hi - I am nurse and also work as a health care consultant, so I do hold health care providers(yes, including labs) to a higher standard of patient centered care. Actually, a high standard of care should be the norm NOT the exception. I am giving this place one star because the employees were friendly. I did appreciate that. Even though the people were friendly, I found this place to be very unprofessional, disorganized , dirty and messy. I don't fault the employees, I fault LabCorp as a whole for not having better standards for how they want their business to run. I mean, the building itself was hard to find. I don't understand how a business that deals with people and invasive procedures isn't better equipped to serve their customers better. I left not feeling very confident that they are going to have my results in a timely manner because the system in place leaves a lot of room for error. And I believe we should do everything in our power to do things right the first time, especially in healthcare. We shouldn't have to subject the people we serve to have to take time out of their schedule or revisit the trauma of having to get blood drawn, just because something was missed or not clearly marked the first time. Having to come back again is not worth a 15 minute visit. I care more about them doing things right than just being done quickly. Incidentally, it is possible to be well organized and efficient at the same time. Some details regarding my experience -- They were very nonchalant about patient privacy, The guy who checked me on handwrote my name on a cup - it was hardly legible, no date of birth written on the cup. - I wasn't given instructions where to go or what to do (I had to ask where the bathroom was). The bathroom was dirty and there wasn't a clearly marked place for me to place my urine. I stood in the hallway waiting to speak to someone and a man, who I'm assuming worked there -- no one was wearing IDs) walked over and after stating my problem, he looked around and then said to just put it on top of a metal specimen box right outside of the bathroom door. -the phlebotomist didn't ask me if I was fasting for my FASTING lab draw, that's kind of important. I volunteered that information. - the phlebotomist was nice enough and he was good, but he also made a comment about how my blood was too slow and told me I should drink enough water (I told him I drink plenty of water and drank 20oz right before my lab appointment). Still not his place and doesn't necessarily have much to do about how fast/quick blood flows... - I have been a phlebotomist before, and I don't think I'm trying to be nitpicky when I say that the guy was a bit unorganized in the way that he performed the lab draw. He didn't have everything ready and had to reach behind him to get the gauze WHILE THE NEEDLE WAS STILL IN MY ARM/VEIN, so it moved around a little. He could've blown my vein. You could do better, LabCorp and I hope that you do better. read more

I made an appointment, didn't make a difference, I still waited an hour for my wellness eval. The employees were yelling questions back and forth as well as speaking very loud about personal issues. The team doesn't really seem to know what they are doing which leaves me concerned as to whether or not my testing was done correctly :/ Worst part is the parking fees, 20 minutes is free however there'd be no chance in hell you'd get out in time. read more

I went to get a ultrasound on 06/15 in suite 202 I believe it was. VERY unprofessional. The phone was ringing and ringing and ringing they finally answered it just to place the person on hold and talk about her the receptionist was asking the doctor what to do and the doctor just said to hang up on her that she calls every day and that she's getting annoying. Then they had the nerve to do this while the waiting room was full of patients they also said we're going to speak in Spanish because the lady doesn't understand Spanish and hopefully she'll Then hang up that is just very unprofessional. I left there very uncomfortable. I'm kind of scared to call and see you but my results because I don't want them to be talking about me in front of other patients. read more

The surgeon on ste 207 is amazing, he's very helpful and caring. His staff on the other hand are so mean, rude and incompetent. i know their life story. they don't do their job and they flirt with the surgeon which is annoying when you're in the middle of a conversation. they don't take their job serious and don't help you if you need it. never been to an office where the staff is talking about themselves while the phone is ringing and take long to answer, when they do they put you on hold and continue the conversation. they're so LAZY! read more

I made an appointment for my son to get his blood drawn. It was his first time- he is quite young and he has autism. I went early to do paperwork and sign in and told the man at the counter my son was on his way and then I apologized because he was likely going to flip out and scream due to autism. The awesome man at the counter said- dont be sorry- my son has autism also and so I'll make sure we take care of him. When I got there it was empty. Not one person there. As we waited for my son about 8 different people came in. When my son arrived with my husband, the man got up and brought us right in. He had another lab tech helping and he instructed me and my husband what to do. Both of the staff were INCREDIBLE with my son and I can imagine they'd be that way with all children. The blood draw took less than 2 minutes and we were done. I literally had to restrain myself from hugging this guy. I will absolutely be writing a note to the person in charge. Since I was in the waiting room about 20 minutes waiting for my son- I had a chance to eavesdrop on everyone else when new patients came in. All three of the staffers there today were in great moods, and were extremely helpful to everyone. I would even say - above and beyond helpful. One man had missed the 12-3pm window where you can get a drug screen. The woman behind the counter (she said she also works in Burbank) didn't just give the man the locations and hours. She brought him around the side and literally booked the guy an appointment- which is NOT what she is supposed to do. She was just being nice. Im sorry that the other Yelpers have had cruddy experiences here because mine was incredible. The staff were absolutely amazing with me and my son and with everyone else they encountered during the time I was there. I read all the reviews and figured I would just roll the dice and find out for myself if it was as bad as everyone was saying. They had a new check in system that was installed today, so maybe it was the new machines that made it such a pleasurable experience. But the doctor that took my blood was the same man helping everyone check in with the new system. Now it's not that difficult that u need a doctor to show you how to use it but the fact that he was out there handling it was a nice thing to see. Everyone keeps clowning the front desk people and the guy that was working today was nothing short of amazing. I had no appointment and I think the total wait time was about 4 mins.. just long enough for me to step out make a quick call and then it was straight to the room. I only needed some light blood drawn for some testing but the doctor hit it the first time pulled 3 tubes of blood and sent me on my way. I didn't even have an account on yelp but felt compelled to make one just to leave his review so that people would give that spot a fair shake. 10 our 10 took a total of 18 minutes. Might of just been my experience or maybe these poor reviews come from the 6 hours of fasting and no coffee in the AM but I will be going here for all my lab needs. Thanks again! read more

In all honesty, I had the fastest and friendliest experience ever in a diagnostic/testing facility today. I am going to start a new job soon, so I had to go in for a drug screen. Reading the reviews I was hesitant to go but realized it was the inevitable; happy or not with the reviews, I had to get it done. When I walked in I was greeted as a friend. As I was signing in, I let the front desk know what I came in for, a drug screen. They kindly let me know that the drug screen process starts at 12--I was there around 11:15. However, he let me know that they would still try to accomendate. After a ten minute wait, they called me in, collected a sample professionally and appropriately, and had me off on my way. The only negative aspect of this visit was that they don't validate parking...go figure. read more

Went to labcorp this morning on vanowen and the girl at the front desk was absolutely rude and obnoxious! Worst attitude I think I have ever seen. Her name was Maria.
