Came here once and left because of the wait. This is my second time here. Both times I came as a…read morewalk in. When I signed in I was informed my wait was going to be 15 minutes. It's now been 47 minutes!!!!! There is a screen that displays your name (abbreviated) and your wait time, it went down to 7 minutes, I was the second in line and I'm back to being 4th in line with an additional 15 min wait. This is a JOKE! I understand that people with appointments have priority over walk-ins but maybe have nurses work with either in order to get walk-ins moving too. I won't return!

Terrible Experience with OB Care I'm currently 31 weeks…read morepregnant and have had a horrible experience with Sun River Healthcare in Poughkeepsie. I went in to see my OB about the pain I've been having, and instead of taking my concerns seriously, she kept trying to dismiss me and send me to the ER -- only for the ER to tell me I needed to follow up with my OB. I was then scheduled to see another OB, Katherine Bishop, and she was by far the worst doctor l've ever encountered. She completely dismissed my pain and concerns. While 1 was explaining why I needed to be taken out of work due to the pain and my inability to perform my job safely, she literally walked out of the room and never came back. This was an extremely unprofessional and uncaring experience. I would not recommend this facility to any pregnant woman seeking prenatal care - they lack compassion, communication, and basic respect for their patients.

Every step; from check-in through check-out and double checking your identity, even if they just saw you minutes earlier. Explaining the do's and don'ts before the procedure. The day of the procedure; what will happen, how long it takes, answering any questions, and putting them at ease. This is helpful if a client hasn't had any previous experience. Your not treated like another chunk of meat. The place is very clean.
