I work in healthcare administration, in Patient Experience consultant work. (Qualities survey) I caution you asking patients for their perception of care, as it is CLEAR that what patients need is not under consideration for your registration, check in, and access to timely care. The kiosk should be optional- NOT required. I've visited many locations, and the last 4 in the morning- each time the lobbies were beyond max capacity, and patients out on sidewalks and parking lot waiting. I found one of my labs required draw before 9 am- 30 minutes after kiosk check in. Sadly- this is now the second time this has occurred in 2 years. This could have been caught had I checked in with a knowledgeable staff. I was going to schedule and pay for home labs to bypass the major lack of service in office, as I was prompted by LabCorp you had my labs from my provider. Your online portal took all my information- and stopped allowing me to proceed when it asked me if I had a copy of my labs. YOU EMAILED ME TO SAY YOU HAVE MY ORDERS. I attempted to contact your online customer service- surprise CHATBOT did not understand. I was going to get a human. I then was prompted to enter in all of my contact information again- I was logged in to my account for labcorp as well. If you are serious about making changes for your patients- please address this and use a patient experience professional to assist you and leverage a patient and family advisory committee. read more

I walked in today for routine blood tests. Easy check-in Only waited five minutes. One girl waiting did have a mask others came in and out and did not. The girl at the front check-in counter wore a mask as did all the three or four employees. I am shocked and surprised that LabCorp and other labs and other patient testing facilities don't make it mandatory to have all patients wear masks for the protection of the technicians who have to be way closer than six feet. Lowe's today were offering free masks and gloves to anyone. All patient facilities should give out free masks in order to enter. No mask no enter! We who live in Anthem, 30 miles north of Phoenix think we are not in danger. I read today 232 confirmed cases. Wake the F up Anthem! read more

I've used this location for all my blood testing but my experience last fall was bad. The woman who took my blood wanted to argue with me about a situation with someone we both know in our small community. She was aggressive and followed me out into the lobby to argue aggressively. I think she made the blood draw painful deliberately since they are never that painful. She was very unprofessional and I will not be doing business there again if she is still working there. read more

This place is horribly understaffed. They are making the lab techs fill out the CPT codes before they draw the labs, thereby causing a very very long unnecessary wait time. Sonoran Quest is a few doors down. If your insurance allows save yourself a lot of frustration and go there! read more

Oh My. The ppl who work the front desk here could use a reboot in customer service. There was no greeting, no eye contact, no pleasantries at all. They Word disheveled and definitely in power. These are mature women. I've been in the medical field for 30 years. I get the over worked, understaffed, doing so much with so little Narrative. Putting a positive attitude on when you punch in is Imperative. You Will make an impression on your patients/ customers. Choose to make it a Pleasant one. I could hear them complaining about a difficult patient. Consider putting half that energy into positivity. The lab tech was as nice as could be. Kudos to you. I appreciate it I was fasting and went right to Drive thru window for food. I was Immediately struck by the professionalism and kindness of the young person taking my order. Some of the worst service ever. Receptionist (Kim Miller and Tenny Hayes) had attitude when asked about checking in on the machine, then had an attitude about paperwork that was sent to them by my wife's Dr. This is the second time the paperwork was sent. She finally found it, but all the attitude was WAY out of line. So unprofessional for the job line she is in. She deals with sick people and should have so.e compassion. And the check in system is so difficult now.and to top it off there were multie HIPAA violations. A complaint WILL be filled. So disgusted with the service here. read more

Technician works alone and very slow. Likes to work appointments as soon as they walk in the door. I was told it's too bad I didn't make an appointment. She is ok for losing business and having several walk outs. Ok with you waiting two hours in their waiting room. No water fountain provided so please make sure to bring your own water for hydration and so they can find a good vein. Technician was very rude when asked how long it will take to be seen after several folks have asked. Very disheartening. read more

I am an RN of 17 years with a masters in a healthcare field. I am extremely disappointed in and concerned about LabCorp Anthem. There was only ONE, yes ONE, staff person working there today. Their partner was on vacation until next week. The ONE person working was responsible for the roles of at least two people. Unbelievable!!! This is not a safe practice. This is not fair to the staff or patients. Perhaps the attitude of some of the staff stem from the lack of concern and consideration LabCorp obviously has for them. Things will only change when enough patients advocate for it. This is not how the future of healthcare should look. read more

My family has been using this facility for bloodwork for years. Tennie Hayes is fabulous. She is always prompt and friendly and so adept with the needle! I have had problems with other technicians due to my difficult veins but never with Tennie. She is great with pediatric patients as well. Highly recommend. read more

This place is clean and on time. I got A girl named Tennie. Horrible she could of not been ruder. I do not understand why people have to act so mean. Never hi or goodbye. Just sit down do not move. I said I hate needles. She said don't move --I am doing my job( in a loud voice). I have had her before it is clear she hates her job. She never even opens the door. She screams come down the hall. Then she says walk straight. Sit down. That is the end of the conversation. I feel horrible if kids or older people get her. Sometimes people need a new job. Do not go to Labcorp in Anthem! I've been there twice. Both times it was the same lady. She has a pretty thick accent and NO PEOPLE SKILLS. Seriously. So rude. She's always there by herself so she does the front desk and the bloodwork. She's extremely bossy. She was talking down to my mother and making snide remarks. Also, the first time she forced me to give her my credit card in advance incase my ins didn't pay. Horrible experience. To top it off, we were there for my newborns bloodwork. If you have babies, you know that's stressful enough as it is. We only went back because no one was there the first time, we were trying to save time and hoping someone else would be working. I recently had to find a LabCorp for an A1c blood draw. Went to Anthem location after a horrible experience at the Bell Road location. Quiet lab; only one tech that manages front desk, phones, and the lab. She was efficient, and was excellent at her job. Painless and no bruising at all. read more

I've been using Anthem LapCorp for several years and can say that they are the most proficient technicians for drawing blood that I have ever met. My veins are hard to locate and I am often stuck several times at other clinics. Not at Anthem LabCorp...they get it right the first time...every time.
