I could not recommend this place more to anyone getting their routine labs done. Every time, Ibram is extremely kind and made me feel comfortable during a process I don't typically feel comfortable with. read more

IBRAM did an excellent job at my blood draw. I was a little uneasy, but Ibram made the experience painless. The only thing I felt was a tiny pinch. Thank you! read more

They never answer the phone or their messages. I have called so many times with a time sensitive situation and I do not live in the state. How can an office be so useless! A massive inconvenience for easily passed along information for the coast guard! read more

Ibram is by far the best blood taker I've ever had, and for that reason I'll be returning to this location for all my future tests. I had an appt at 9:15am and I was out of there by 9:20am (no exaggeration). Thank you lab corp and THANK YOU IBRAM!! read more

1 person working unprofessional was told it was going to take less than 15 minutes ended up waiting over 45 minutes

I have very small veins and Ibrahim (?) was the best phlebotomist ever! I didn't even feel a pinch when the needle went in.

This is the ONLY labcorp that has an employee capable of finding a vein and taking my blood, so I drive here even though its about 50 min away from my house. All the other locations stab me multiple times and say my veins are "too deep". But if I come here there is a great experienced gentleman who always finds my vein right away and never hurts me in the process. He is worth the drive. I'm not sure the correct spelling of his name but I think its Ibram or Ibraham. Give this guy a raise please! Whatever you are paying him, it should be even more. I have been to lots of labcorp locations since I have hashimoto's disease and have to have my blood checked regularly. And I can say from experience they are all pretty awful, with the exception of this one guy. I highly recommend going to him! read more

I had to get some lab work done for my primary care physician and stopped by Labcorp's location at 320 Superior Avenue, Suite 150, in Newport Beach, California today about 3pm. There was one staff member, Alondra, working and three clients in front of me. I was impressed with the efficiency and patience displayed by Alondra in handling everyone in a timely manner but I went from being impressed to being amazed when after not being able to read the orders scribbled by my doctor regarding what tests needed to be run, she called my doctors office and had to eventually take a photo with her phone and email it to them and wait for a response. It was a time consuming process but she handled it with a smile on her face even though she was nearly a half hour past normal closing time when the testing was complete and I was on my way. Excellent customer service and very professional indeed. Many thanks. read more

I came in for my drug screening. I was in a time crunch and the staff was very hesitant to accept my information. My name has been changed on my drivers license for many years and yet they had an old name on the system. My husband heard the two guys in the front gossiping about my personal health information out loud in front of others. This is private information and by no means should this be shared in public, especially in front of other patients. Shame on you LabCorp for failing me. I demand the director to give me a call to discuss. Thanks! read more

I have came to this location twice. I am very very disappointed by the lack of customer service I have received. Stay away from this labcorp location. Abraham is very very rude. read more

Place was clean efficient - David was great out in 20 minutes checked in and had blood drawn in a very short time

I made an appointment online for a blood test. I arrived for my 8:15 a.m. appointment; I was immediately helped checking in; I made my payment; then Abraham took my blood and was very gentle so I did not even feel it; I was out of the office in record time. Everyone wore a mask and there was hand sanitizer. Then my husband went for his 8:45 a.m. appointment; it took hardly any time. read more

My favorite place to have my blood drawn! After going to many locations, especially the Fountain Valley location, which is awful. This place has the best phlebotomists, they always get my vein the first time. I just had to have 18 tubes taken and David did such an excellent job... he had me talk about something going on in my life, to take my mind off of it, and time went by so fast and before I knew it he was finished! read more

The smell hits you when you walk in, a combo of sweat and other body odors. The man behind the desk snaps at people disrespectfully. I had an appointment and was on time but that didn't save me from waiting. The blood takers are much nicer ... they get the star. read more

Mary was terrific! Didn't feel the needle at all! She was a doll. I was in and out of there in a few minutes. So easy to register online snd wait in your car until they text you to come in. read more

I went to this place to pee in a cup for a new job. A few weeks afterwards, my boyfriend also came to pee in a cup for a job. Both times, unbelievably terrible service. I checked the times online to make sure they were open. Their online schedule said they'd be open until, I think it said 1:30, which is when they close for lunch for an hour. I can't remember the specific times anymore. Anyway, I got there an hour and a half before their scheduled lunch. The woman was completely ignoring me, just chatting it up about her Halloween decorations that she was putting up with her coworker. After a solid two minutes, she turned to me and said she needed to take a lunch, that I would have to come back. What?! So that bothered me a little, but I let it go. Maybe it was mandatory that she went on lunch at that time, I just wish their website would have told me that. So, I came back after an hour, and waited. And waited. After two people walked in and were taken before me (one a walk-in and one an appointment) she finally said that I needed to sign in. I was completely not aware that I was supposed to sign in. For fifteen minutes she assumed that I was simply sitting there for my own health? Do your job! Greet people! Direct them on what to do! So, after signing in, thus commenced my waiting once more. It must've been 45 minutes. Long enough for both appointments to finish and leave, and long enough for her coworker to go out and feed the flipping squirrel. So then, whatever, I peed, I left, I got the job. I was glad to be done with that place. But then my boyfriend needed go there about a month after. The customer service was just as sloppy the second time around, maybe even worse. For his job, they sent the test result to the employer, as well as giving the copy to my boyfriend. My boyfriend's result sheet had a huge X marked so big that it covered two categories. Negative and amphetamine, with center of the X being slightly more over Amphetamine. Luckily enough, she did her job correctly when sending the results to his employer, which were indeed negative. Unless he'd been secretly slipped drugs, he's never touched any type of amphetamine. I couldn't believe she was so careless when marking the result. THAT COULD COST SOMEONE A HUGE JOB!! Absolutely ridiculous. Do not come here. read more

The staff here had absolutely no idea what was going on. I asked about one of the tests I was getting and NEITHER of the technicians could give me an answer on what it was. I had to look it up on my phone in the office to understand what the test was going to consist of. Then, I was wondering if they had a protocol in case I had a bad reaction to the test because I had never taken this substance before and the staff just replied "we recommend you go to the hospital". So that meant they had zero protocol in place for if a patient has an allergic reaction to a test substance. I chose to not do that test and try to go somewhere else for it because I felt extremely unsafe doing it there. I still let them draw the blood but I shouldn't have even let them do that. Very very sketchy place and the staff was very rude and short with me. They acted annoyed that I was confused about the test. I will never come here again. read more

Every time I go to LabCorp, I'm reminded why I hate this place. Of course I always have lots and lots of time to wait in their lobby and remember. This is for profit medicine at it's worst. According to my doctor, he used to have a very nice flebotomist who worked out of his office. LabCorp bought her employer and promptly fired everyone. Now I come here. And. Wait On the plus side, today I only waited 40 minutes. That's like three times faster than usual. To be fair, the lady (and only person) working today was very nice. Despite the lobby full of angry people who thought if they got to the location early it would be quicker. Also to be fair, she hurrying to get everyone taken care of. Because you really want the poor stressed out employee to be hurrying.. when she is there to STICK A F$%&ING NEEDLE IN MY ARM. I would say LabCorp should read this and staff their locations appropriately, but I'm sure there is not enough staffing to monitor their social media anyway. read more

Very bad customer service by staff on duty on 07/11/15. According to her she is the only person who run drug screen in the area for pre employment. The test is only done Monday to Friday and it is customer fault that the computer system allow us to make appointment on Saturday. She agreed to conduct the test for two customers that made appointment online but she made us wait and wait because she had to put us in between walked in patients for regular lab test. Un pleasant experience with LabCrop. No star is probably better ranking. Mistake made by company website and automatically push to a bad customer service and how staff handled stress. read more

I have been coming for blood work and it's been painless and quick. I felt like everyone was nice and efficient and helpful especially Ibram. I will continue to go to this location. read more

Dirty. No soap in the bathroom where they collect urine samples. Front desk guy has major literacy problems. Expect your information to be wrong. Double, triple check ALL your stuff. He has made mistakes on my records more than once. No matter how many times you ask them to send you copies of your results they don't because the people working here are incapable of setting it up in their system. Don't bother calling. They NEVER answer the phone. read more

Corban made my visit so painless. Dr.s can usually not find my veins in my arms or hands and I always cry and I'm miserable. He got the needle in my blood flowing immediately on the first try. I was so overwhelmingly calm after I couldn't recognize myself leaving!!! Thank you for making it as good of an experience as it could have been. read more

I have been to this site 2 times to draw blood. I had chemo in my veins (no portacath) 20 years ago. It has been terrible for tech's to get blood from my scared veins. Well, about 2 weeks ago I went to this lab with an appointment. The lady took me in and I told her I have had some try 3 times to get a vein and ended up on my wrist which is painful. Well, she got in the first time! Well, today I returned and had an appointment. The young lady took me in and I explained how hard it was to find a vein. She said she thought she found one and she put the needle in and I hardly felt it. First try! These young ladies were terrific. Good work ladies. By the way, today I did not even have a bruise, which is a miracle. Love you guys. read more

This is possibly the most depressing place I have ever been. Tiny office, really bad lighting and an uncaring detached staff. Emergency rooms are less depressing, at least there is the impression someone cares about helping. As another reviewer said, no one LIKES to give a blood sample to begin with so you're not there for a good time BUT I've walked out twice rather than sit in a dark, crowded room with a bunch of potentially very sick people for 30 - 45 minutes. Nightmare. read more

The older man at the front desk is incredibly rude. He literally argued with me because I didn't know his lunch hours. He continued to be rude to other patients once I came back. He was unorganized, incompetent, and should not be dealing with patients. read more

This labcorp is the worst one by far, all the people there are rude, they make you feel like your dumb. I came in for a drug screening at 11:30am because the job I got made me sign up online and the email told me to show up at this labcorp location anytime before July 30th. It gave a phone number too, but it didn't say it needed an appointment, I tried calling the number and that didn't work, but since I registered online and have an email telling me to show the people at labcorp that email and they'll give me the 4 panel drug screening. So I tried showing the people at 11:30am in this labcorp, they wouldnt even give the time of day to read the email, they kept interrupting me and then told me they're going on lunch so come back at 12:30. I come back at 12:30 and they tell me I need an appointment and they wouldn't even read the email that I kept trying to show them that gives a date and confirmation number. By far this was the worst experience I've had to just get a simple 4 panel drug screening. It literally takes 3minutes of their time and they refused. They're just out right lazy and rude. read more

Let me be the first to review this charming little establishment. Where, or WHERE do I begin anyway? First of all, nobody likes getting blood drawn...right??? I mean, who enjoys it? The least that the lab personnel can be is the opposite of RUDE. I would take even borderline pleasant but even that didn't even begin to happen here. Being efficient and fast would also be a plus but the lady working in here on Saturday was NOT going to move her butt...no how...no way. I don't expect Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus customer service, but I expect something less than being shot daggers when I walk through the door. I made an appointment to have blood drawn at 8:15 on a Saturday morning. I had to fast for my test so I wanted an early morning appointment and the 8:00 was already taken. I walked in at 8:00 anyway hoping that maybe, just MAYBE they could do the draw a little bit early. You see, I have low blood sugar and I wake up starving every morning. I get up during the work week at 5:00 and I am eating by 5:15. I get up early on the weekends also, so waiting until after 8:00 to eat leaves me dizzy and light headed. I walked in to this office and the waiting room was already packed. There was one girl at the front desk, flipping through a notebook and talking loudly with a patient in the lobby about her weekend plans and biatching up a storm about her coworker. I signed in at the front desk and asked her "Do I need to fill out this form"? There was a form on the counter and I was wondering if I needed to fill it out. "I don't know" she snipped at me. " OH...OKAY...THIS IS NICE". I thought to myself. I sat down and waited. The front desk girl never moved from yakking with the patient about her weekend and flipping through a notebook. From the conversation they were having, I came to understand that the front desk girl was BEYOND PISSED OFF THAT HER CO WORKER HAD CALLED IN SICK ON A SATURDAY....AGAIN!!!!! I was dizzy, light headed and shaky...I walked to the front and said "Excuse me, I have an appointment for 8:15...will I have my test done at that time"? She looked up from flipping through her notebook, shot me hateful DAGGERS and snipped 'I don't know". She had a look of utter contempt on her face. Not once she get get out of her chair to start to draw some blood. Wow...for an employee of this lab, you sure don't know jack shiat lady. Every time I have the audacity to ask you a question the answer is always "I don't know". I sat there until 8:20, listening to this lady bitch up a storm about her hated coworker who had the balls to call in sick on a Saturday....AGAIN! She also continued to sit on her butt, flipping through the notebook and bitching and talking to the patients in the lobby. Yeah...your co-worker called in sick..got that memo...that blows...but how about getting off your duff and drawing some blood samples? I pulled out my iPhone, found another LabCorp lab open on Saturday and drove over to Fashion Island before I fainted from low blood sugar...even through my doc does not like the Fashion Island lab because they screw up her labs all the time. I walked into the F.I. branch and the front desk girl was not much nicer but at least they were calling people back to draw blood. I was in and out of there in 20-30 minutes, without an appointment. The girl who drew the blood at F.I. was a sweetheart, the front desk girl...not so much. I never got so much as a "Hello" from her either. They must send all of the front desk people to the same "How to be surly to patients" class. This LabCorp branch needs to work on customer service skills. Geez lady..if you hate your job so much...LEAVE! Go work at the DMV or someplace else where a surly attitude is a given. Also, if your coworker calls in sick, keep it to yourself. It is the height of utter unprofessionalism to biatch about a coworker in a loud voice so an entire waiting room full of people can hear every word you say. Also, if shit happens beyond your control, (like a nim rod coworker calls in sick), don't take it out on the patients who come in for lab tests. Suck it up Princess. You can say "I'm sorry...we are running late and we are short staffed, your appointment will probably not be taken as scheduled. You are welcome to drive over to our Fashion Island location if you would like to be seen sooner". Geez lady...you are NOT the first person to have hurdles thrown at them in the course doing a job...remember...it's called "work", not "FUN". I will not be returning to this lab again...ever! I don't care how much my doc dislikes the Fashion Island lab, I will go there. read more

Wow... Sooooooo slow here. In the two days I've been here the front window person wouldn't answer a question. She told me to go sit down. They seem completely overwhelmed with even a couple of people in the waiting room. This location seems to be really under staffed and also unorganized! I walk in so I new there might be a wait but I did not think it would be this LONG! Im very patient but I can see that the receptionist was working the front and back room! Also I came prepared with all my paperwork and the receptionist seems to forget a lot! I felt sorry cause I new she was under staffed. Also when I got my blood drawn it seemed like the phlebotomist seems to right out of school and it hurt a bit! She was really nice I told her it hurt and she made adjustments. The staff is really nice but I know they need help and should probably hired more people. read more

Terrible customer service. Went in for a standard drug test for work and was told they don't do drug tests on Saturday. The website allowed me to schedule an appointment specifically for this. When I told her that, she said, "well it's a computer." The good news: The appointment time was honored. Now for the rest of it. The front desk person demanded to see my husband's Medicare card. He doesn't use Medicare insurance but has a Medicare advantage policy. Finally another individual said, "oh, ok." Now the really bad part. The venipuncturist was not experienced enough to be drawing blood from an individual who'd been having blood tests for 78 years without ONE problem. This person immediately stuck the needle straight through the vein and said, "oh you have terrible veins, called another venipuncturist who couldn't draw blood from the other arm. I'll have to go back to the other arm." The bruise on his arm is 1" x .5" and will be there awhile. We will never go back to this lab - even if we have to have the blood drawn at an unauthorized lab. read more

Avoid this location. The front desk lady is absolutely rude and unprofessional. Seems miserable working there.

I've had faster and more affectionate service at the DMV. The front desk lady looked like she was in charge but was stressed and didn't trust her workers with the tasks at hand. She misplaced my paperwork in that tiny office and then put the onus on me to find my info again through the email on my smartphone. Not a particularly difficult task, but an inconsiderate one since my papers were sitting there 30 seconds before. I was out of there in about a half hour but could have been done in 10 minutes with effective leadership. read more
