Extremely unprofessional. I was a walk-in for a standing order, the man that worked in the office was very pleasant and said that he was on a lunch break, but his female counterpart would help me shortly. She was extremely rude when helping me and gave me a ton of attitude, when speaking to her male counterpart, she was extremely unprofessional and literally yelled at him in front of me. I am a nurse so I understand how drawing blood works. She used alcohol to clean my skin before poking me, but cleaned the area that was not poked. She also wiped the alcohol off before it was done drying with a piece of gauze. Overall, she was extremely rude to both me and the male working in the office . My only good thing I have to say about it is that my experience was quick. She should not be working in healthcare. read more

My daughter did a walk in as stated on the phone system as acceptable, then we were told after they do not accept walk ins at this location and to go else 12 miles to their other location - Santa Ana. It was "temporarily closed". Then to the location anther 5 miles away on Tustin ave. Here we are after blowing 2 hours just to pee in a cup. Looking on their website, found they had an appointment at the superior location, that was 15 min from when we originally arrived. These people are lazy! No one was in the waiting room and we were sent to a closed location but fire finding for ourselves other. No I would not recommend going to these low end dirty facilities. No respect for you as a customer, or your time. I know Quest labs are bad, but labcorp is a whole new low..... Ugh! read more

They can't even do such a simple task and don't even know how many appointments they have for the day. so dont trust them with your tests. His tone was rude for no reason as well. You cannot book multiple tests, drug screen, etc at once online. So you'll have to make two appointments if you have a drug screen and bloodwork. Ibram M is very direct but also chaotic. He is so fast he doesn't pay attention to detail and asks you questions when it's right on the paperwork. Also gives you instructions like go to bathroom. Where is the bathroom? Then go left to sink. That doesn't help in a hallway with 3-4 different rooms and he is sitting on the computer demanding and stated directions or instructions or questions at you. It's quite polite to ask questions and make eye contact. Fairly busy location. Make appointment online is highly recommended. Drug screens are by appointment only at certain times of the week. There tv is also not working so you don't know where you are in line. Was able to get everything done in 40 mins. I work in healthcare/patient care and I wasn't impressed with how the employees (one male and one female) communicated with their patients/customers. Quality of care is definitely lacking. Also, when drawing blood she didn't tell you when she was gonna poke you which is just a courtesy if someone's not looking and can't handle the side of blood. read more

I walked out. Took my son in for labs and he almost cried at how unsafe he felt (he NEVER cries). We waited 30 min even with an appointment and when we walked in the patient room we had to leave. There is what looks like mold on the crumbling ceiling. Viles are paced in the wall which felt unsanitary. The whole room had an unsanitary feel. The bathroom was unkept and had a weird sign on the sink that did "use for drug test only". I hope not all Lab Corps are like this. read more

They are only getting 1 star as I'm forced to do so. The front staff are rude and not at all helpful. I came to this location as the one across the street is closed and received a phone call to come here. I was told my appointment would be honored here. However when I got here, they said they could not honor my other appointment. There were other people in the same situation as me. All frustrated. The front staff seemed overwhelmed and didn't know how to deal the patients that we're waiting. Since GNP separated from QUEST I'm being forced to go to LabCorp.... I can honestly say, I'm NOT A FAN. not even close to the same patient care that QUEST offered. Not even worth going back for a new gauze as this one bled through on my way out. This office was absolutely disgusting. The walls, furniture and floor were filthy. Had to wait for 35 minutes even though I had an appointment. When taken back the room was equally as dirty as the front. There was mold growing in the corner of the ceiling. The vials on the wall were dusty as were the items on the counter. I can't believe a place where sterility is imperative was so nasty. The bathroom, I don't even know where to begin. Dirty toilet filled with someone else's urine, toilet paper and seat covers all over the floor and the counter had some sort of sticky substance on it. This place should be shut down. I'm sure there are too many health violations to list. Absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. read more

This is an incredibly unprofessional office. I was made to take an obnoxious set of keys (urine cup on giant elastic band) upstairs to a bathroom, carrying all of my things, and a urine cup upstairs in this big office building complex to take my sample. I was then to bring it back downstairs though the main lobbies of this building when done. What? \ I was told the bathroom in the clinic was unavailable. I saw it was open when I walked by. I asked for a bag at least to put the cup in. They gave me a clear zip lock. It was an ordeal upstairs with my sweater, purse, phone, book, urine cup key ring and urine cup. I dropped the cup several times ensuring it was not sterile. When I returned carrying my bag of pee through the lobby for all to see, I expressed how unprofessional I thought this process was to the front desk. He then very rudly told me that downstairs bathroom was for drug testing only and I could have waited half hour for it (they didn't give me that option, btw) or go upstairs and do it there. He was so rude to me it was unreal. I told him the sample was unsterile but he kept berating me. The right thing to do would be to admit that this process is not right and apologize. I'll never come back. I'll highly recommend my doctor use another facility and I will let every one know how poorly I was treated by reception there. To be fair, the phlebotomist who took my blood did a good job, but he's the one who gave me the ziplock bag instead of a paper bag (he totally didn't get it). This place is a train wreck. read more

This was bad... I would not recommend this site for any lab procedure. A) Understaffed B) Sanitation is an overstatement. C) If you made an appointment (like I did 2 weeks prior), prepare yourself to wait indefinably. Plus, make nonchalant conversations with each patron amid earshot (a.k.a. = all). I understand the understaffing aspect, along with busy Mondays (people show up unexpected due to weekend closures). That being said, good Lord! It was an obnoxious 'Shoulder-to-Shoulder' waiting-room experience. Appointments weren't even seen first. The cramped waiting room is the size of my guest bathroom, containing 6 chairs. Good luck finding a place to sit. and be prepared to make nonchalant conversations with all patrons within earshot (no kidding! all!). Pro Tip: wait in your car; hopefully they'll call you... Better yet, go to a different location, such as Memorial Care in Fountain Valley- that place is spotless. read more

This Newport location was amazing. I had originally tried to go to Mission Viejo and the staff there was extremely rude and didn't provide me with any information that I was looking for. I ended up leaving that facility to go to Laguna Hills, but that was location was by appointment only and had no time slots available within a week. I'm glad I was able to make a last-minute appointment in Newport as my employer required a drug screen within 5 days. I made one on Tuesday for Wednesday afternoon. I tried looking for a few other locations with appointments in south county before deciding on Newport and had no luck. I ended up taking about 15 minutes in total. I was a little later (my fault) and was still out of there quickly and efficiently I picked the 1 pm time slot, and nobody was there when I arrived, and I think it was the first time after lunch. I would recommend that time if you need to make an appointment or walk-in. read more
