Surprised by the comments about Michael? I just left after getting some vials done. The tone was sarcastic and negging from the start, as I let him know I was nervous. "So why did you sign up?" I then asked if he could count down to which he responded "What am I, the count?" Once the needle was inserted, I closed my eyes and focused on breathing, to which he said "Oh, and now she can't talk." By this point, I was making it clear I wasn't interested in this negging or sarcasm; I'm just trying to make it through. He asks about plans, I see he's trying to distract me, so I throw him a bone and say I'm going to dinner at Javier's, a Mexican restaurant. "Yeah I figured by the name." I felt vulnerable and mocked and condescended to, and by the time I said "thank you so much" in a whisper as he took it out, he said "oh and why are we whispering." Super odd. Very pointed. Felt like no matter what I said, he was insisting on his bit at the cost of professionalism and compassion. I rarely leave negative reviews, if ever. This was weird and left me feeling icky. Waited about 40 minutes, didn't have an appointment and it was very busy so it was expected. Getting blood drawn is never fun but Michael brought it somewhat close. I'm a terrible draw and it is often painful + takes multiple tries, but he made it painless. Never change, Michael. read more

Horrendous office experience. No one is available to speak with or help. Quality of care was also garbage. They treat the people there like an inconvenience when their whole job is serving patients through bloodwork. Walk-In patients were told to wait 3-4 hours when no one was in the waiting area. Poor communication, not helpful, nonprofessional, and inexperienced staff in front office. From entering two girls working with one seeming to lead the rudeness with no hello or acknowledgment of you coming in. Just rude manners of communication like talking to you while looking down at their computer screen or talking over you so you can't ask a question. This was the second time in the last month that I needed a blood draw. Thankfully Ashley was my technician for both visits. Not only was she very professional, she was efficient with her tasks and completed the process without the need to rush. I was very impressed. During my first visit, we worked together to problem solve an issue I was having with the quantity of labs ordered. She is smart, friendly and very gentle. Great experience here - Michaela is the phlebotomist MVP! Didn't feel a thing when she was drawing blood. She was friendly, quick, and informative. Beware of their price list!! The price list online is very inaccurate and misleading. I reviewed the prices online for blood work. The price list online advertises roughly $50 per blood test that I was interested in. I scheduled an appointment and my total bill should have been roughly $250. I received a bill for over $1300. I tried to have the bill corrected and they would not do anything for me, even though they acknowledged the price list. They are scamming people, very dishonest! read more

I took my kids to do an allergy test and blood count . The person did not do one of the test went back to the doctor and no result. Went back weeks after to do the missed test and didn't want to help 15 min before closing time . Staff needs to be more cautious and professional. Not very welcoming ! read more

Shelia is amazing! I warned her I was a little squeamish when it came to getting my blood drawn, so she kindly talked with me through the whole process. She has a very calming energy to her, and made it quick and painless. Here is the point of incision 3 days later. Barely there and absolutely no bruising whatsoever! I didn't have an appointment and there none available on this day but I walked in at 8:45 am and they walked me right back for my blood draw. 10 minutes later the waiting room was was full so get their early if you are walking in. I have had problems with finding a vein and then passing out having blood drawn in the past, but not here. I have been going to this Quest for about a year now around once a month for me or my daughter. I always make an appointment online prior to coming into the office to avoid waiting. With an appointment, I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes- I love how fast they are. Kimberly and Jordan and both pleasures to talk with which makes the uneasiness of getting blood drawn a lot more pleasant. I usually get Kimberly who draws my blood and she is awesome. She also has been doing it for my infant daughter since she was less than a month old (which is no easy feat, believe me!). She is AMAZING. I have small veins that at times have been impossible for others to draw from (the ER stuck me at least 5 times) and Kimberly has never had an issue which makes me much more comfortable than I usually am with needles. Kimberly always recognizes me and my daughter when we come in which is just a nice extra touch. I truly can't say enough great things about this place! read more

My appointment time was at 3:40pm and I did have a lot of labs to process and there was confusion as to how to process them. Apparently they all needed to be processed separately which was costing me $200 per order - not your labs fault I realize, but I was already distressed because of this. When the technician told me that one of the tests was not covered and would be costing me $600 (really $1200 because my husband was supposed to do the same test) - I had reached my emotional and financial limit and told her that I didn't want to do that ONE. Well I come to find out, she didn't do any of the tests that were on that order INCLUDING one more order. When I realized that, I told her "no, I need to do all these other tests. I just want to hold off on the one". She said to me, "We close at 4 so you'll have to come back". I just had my second miscarriage in 8 months via IVF (something I told the technician). I was at your lab to continue trying to find out why I keep miscarrying and can't get pregnant on my own. I was already feeling unheard by the medical community. For someone to turn me away when I had taken the time out of my day to come empty my wallet and get jabbed by a needle...let's just say it broke me that day. Health care professionals need to understand they are often dealing with people that are suffering in one way of another. Bedside manner can be the difference in giving someone the strength to carry on that day. Do better. read more

I had blood drawn today for pre-op and when I was about to leave, was told that she needed to draw more blood because she mistakenly didn't get enough. Not a big deal - I could tell she genuinely felt bad. The first poke didn't inflict any pain but the second poke was extremely painful and rushed. The burning and tingling continued for hours and finally subsided 6 hours later. The pain is still very much so present. I don't like leaving bad reviews but since I can't get through the phone to an actual person - I'm leaving this here. read more

Genuinely frustrated with this office and with quest diagnostics in general - I needed to get testing done as ordered by my doctor, left work early for the appt, got there early, checked in, was not greeted or addressed by any of the people there (which granted, and being fair, they were all servicing patients so I understand and I'm still frustrated), and then due to the nature of the test I was scheduled for needing to be observed for an hour, I was finally brought in 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time and was turned away since they had to close. I had been there for 45 minutes so that was super frustrating, especially since I cannot leave my work early every day for medical stuff. I'm just frustrated that the schedule and tests scheduled wasn't reviewed by the medical personnel ahead of time, there was no communication from their office OR anything blocking me from scheduling it by the office or by quests online scheduling service (which I find very lame), and then was provided with no support to reschedule by the office staff even though I was their literal last patient. I will not schedule with this location ever moving forward as this wasn't handled well despite me asking questions and getting there early. 0/5 stars if I could. read more

They have a problem in their system. I had an appointment. They were to send a code to me via email. No code was sent, so when I went to check into my appointment I was told I would have to be on stand-by (which means you wait 1-2 hours). There is no reason for Quest to send a "code" or for the patient to need a "code" when one already has an appointment scheduled via their website. (Or they just have to follow through and send the code.) read more

Upon arriving, I was informed this office was not accepting walk-in patients due to a lack of staff, but I was more than welcome to visit the clinic on Avocado that has a three hour wait time. Absolutely ridiculous. The place was empty, nobody waiting, nothing. Employees chatting together in the back, wasting time. Absolutely no reason why they could not have done my pre-op labs. I suggest somewhere other than Quest. If my doctor had not ordered the labs at Quest, I would absolutely be looking elsewhere. read more

Don't be fooled by the good reviews. Go to LabCorp right down stairs in the same building. The nurse showed up late. No one came and spoke to anyone in the waiting room. The first patient was taken until 8:20am. There's little space in the waiting room. They play the same annoying TV message over and over and over again. LabCorp has water- in and out within 15 minutes. Quest wasn't a good experience at all. read more
