By this point, I was making it clear I wasn't interested in this negging or sarcasm; I'm just trying to make it through. He asks about plans, I see he's trying to distract me, so I throw him a bone and say I'm going to dinner at Javier's, a Mexican restaurant. "Yeah I figured by the name." I felt vulnerable and mocked and condescended to, and by the time I said "thank you so much" in a whisper as he took it out, he said "oh and why are we whispering." Super odd. Very pointed. Felt like no matter what I said, he was insisting on his bit at the cost of professionalism and compassion. I rarely leave negative reviews, if ever. This was weird and left me feeling icky. Ladies, I recommend asking for someone else.

First time I had to wait ten or fifteen minutes while listening to the receptionist yap on and on, first to some woman I think was janitorial and then to a family member or friend on the phone. Nonstop yappitude. Second time I brought a book with me and wouldn't you know, I got taken right in. Had the same guy draw my blood both times, friendly, good at his job. No pain even though the first time he took like seven vials. This time it was just one vial, and the doctor had the results the next day. Hot damn! I approve, good sir.

Usually most Quest in other states I have been too, is super fast get in and out. This specific one not so much at all. Word of advice make an appointment here, and do not be LATE. If you are late, they automatically cancel your appointment without even notifying you the changes. It happened with a lady who asked about her appointment in front of me.

I'm always feeling very comfortable and at ease with them as they're explaining what's being done! What I like about this place as this is open at 7AM which gives me plenty of time to find adequate parking out on the streets before everything else in that building even opens up for the day! And even when the streets are filled with parked cars along the curb, parking in the pay parking area is still dirt cheap! $2 per hour! Can't beat it! I highly recommend going to this laboratory to have your blood work needs done! I wouldn't trade this for anything! I recall my former physician attempting to talk me into having my blood work done elsewhere, but I was adamant about continuing to go to this one here just because she happened to experience bruising from one of her own veins there, but as I mentioned earlier, I never experienced any issues with the lab or anything! Anyway, will continue going until next year because I will be relocating to Texas!

The poor phlebotomist had to verify insurance and manage payment - what a waste of time for a skilled person. And their new policy is to take a credit card "just in case" insurance doesn't cover it and they won't do the blood draw without it. Insurance covers my blood draws every year and I didn't feel at all comfortable giving them my credit card. Overall, Quest has steadily gone downhill and it's such a shame they are the only game in town.
