I was just in there at 1:30 5/21/26 today and even though I hate going to get labs Spideh was an angel. I went in earlier this week and it was hard due to all my bruises, but she told me to eat pineapple and it worked. Today there was no problem. We came at 6:30am for a pregnancy bloodwork appointment. Waited for 1 minute and had Ali helping us in the back. He was absolutely fantastic! I hadn't had much water and I have small veins but he got it first try and confirmed each vile for my information afterwards. 5/5 stars Ali! Update: Just came again for additional bloodwork and had Adriana helping us. She was very kind and great at what she does. Found the vein on the first try! read more

I'm pleased to say I didn't encounter any of the negatives mentioned in other reviews. My experience today was literally painless. If you can, sign up for the text alerts and create a patient account on the website. This allowed me to do a mobile check-in when I arrived in the parking area (which is spacious and includes covered parking near the building, along with many spaces reserved for patients.) Elevator to the second floor. You pass the individual restrooms on the way (there were two), enter the office, and the check-in kiosk is right there. Otherwise, you can speak with the staff member at the desk, provide paperwork, ID, insurance and payment info. It's a small waiting room, six or seven comfortable chairs, so you may want to wait downstairs on the benches by the entry doors or in your car (again, the mobile check-in helps here). I was seen approximately six minutes after my scheduled time (before 9 A.M. midweek) for a blood draw and my tech was AMAZING. Wonderful personality to put you at ease and featherweight needle insert. Two vials later I was out the door and on my way home. Effortless experience. Thanks so much for getting my day started out on the right foot. read more

Would give them zero if possible. They couldn't do my drug test after calling the day before and verifying that they could help me. They guy said oh yes no problem come on in. After driving there out of my way. They tell me they don't do that there. Makes no sense to me how they are not trained in the simplest communication. Yet they are inconveniencing the patients. In the past I have gone to the location on Newport Center Dr (other side of the parking lot) and thought I made an appointment for that location. Turns out that I made the appointment for this location instead. After checking in with the QR code on appt confirmation at the wrong location and waiting for over an hour, I was directed to this location as the other location refused to treat me as an appointment priority. I walked to this lab from the other one. The staff initially was confused when I explained what had happened, but once they were able to verify that I had an appointment, they had me in and out in less than 5 minutes for a simple blood draw. They even apologized for the way I was treated at the other location and provided information that contradicted what I was told there. This is my new location to come to. I only gave two stars because the man who drew my blood was very sweet. If it wasn't for him, 1 star! When my 2 kids and I arrived, there were two people "working". The man was entering my information. The woman came out from the back, on hold with someone on the phone. She took my sons order and spent 1 minute on it then went into the back and spoke on the phone for at least 10-15 minutes as more and more patients piled into the tiny room (4 person capacity per sign on door). One man waltzed in with NO MASK and no one reprimanded him. I had to actually ask him to put his mask on. Eventually he did. This isn't Walmart, dude. This is a medical facility. Wear your mask! Finally I get taken back while the woman was still in back on the phone. The man who drew my blood had to stick me twice because my blood clotted (it was a lot of tubes). On my other arm he said he wanted to use the regular needle, not a butterfly, because it's faster. I left there with a huge lump/clot on my arm! Which later bruised. My arm still hurts two days later. Worse than my covid shot! Meanwhile my son was taken to the other room by the woman who finished her phone call. She butchered him. Moved the needle all around pushing it in and out. He has a bruise and a sore arm. My daughter was next. She asked for a butterfly needle. She has anxiety and learning disabilities. The woman lied and said they didn't have any! I told her the man just used one on me! So she said "oh, we have large butterflies but not small ones". Ok. That's still a butterfly. Why lie? I don't understand. When they use the regular needle, they move it around while switching tubes which causes a bruise. Every time. So she did use a butterfly on my daughter after all that but before this I wasn't allowed in the room and my daughter was refusing to have her blood drawn due to the regular needle and the woman called me back and got nasty and said they had other patients and to leave! Well if she hadn't lied about butterfly needles there would be no issue at all. It was all her fault. Why are they lying about needles??? Creepy AF. This place is terrible. Never again. read more

This is probably the worst lab I have ever been to in my 60 years so, I had to go to the bathroom when I got there. There was nobody at the front desk and no key to the bathroom down the hall. Finally, some young woman was walking by and I said can I get the key to the bathroom and she said do you have to do urine analysis and I said oh yeah you're right I do. So she hands me a cup and a marker and says second door on the left go ahead and do this right and write your name on it. Well the space to write your name is so tiny and she gave me a big marker. My last name has 10 letters in it. There's no way I could write my last name on there And then I was having some issues actually going. So, I go back out and she's at the desk, she's not very nice, and I told her I can't write my name on here and she goes. It doesn't matter where you write it. Just write it on there just really snippy I said there's 10 letters in my name you tell me where I'm gonna write this and so there was another lady that came in and she said put it on the Post it and I said is this enough urine and they both said no so then I need to go back out to my car and drink some water and the girl with the long hair. The young girl said well we don't even know if you need a urinalysis sign in and sit down and get some water and I just said you know what I'm gonna go to quest diagnostics plus the lobby there it's not even a lobby. It was stuffed full of people and there were people in every room so I would bet that if you have an appointment at that location, you're gonna wait an hour. Never again read more

I've been here a few times, today for a blood draw. Kimberly was the tech that did the blood draw and she is a true pro at this! Due to her excellent technique, the process was quick and completely painless. She also had a way of putting me at ease with her pleasant personality. Business opens at 6. Multiple people had appointments at 6:00am and after. A worker showed up around 6:45 saying "she didn't show up?" And opened the door. Another worker rushed in around 7:15. The first worker was left to handle multiple patients (very professionally) however I'm still here at 7:30 still waiting for my blood to be drawn. Will be using another company from now on. Multiple people left and their time and mine were wasted. It's nice they had water but they also need more chairs for older people read more

Currently all new employees, they are very slow and lack experience. In the past they were able to keep the same employees for years and it really made a difference in the service. If you walk in without an appointment they tell you the company is appointment only. Not true ! It took the young man 30 minutes to input my information in the computer. I was apprehensive during my search for a pediatric blood draw center due to a past negative experience. I took a chance and booked an appointment here as this lab is very close to our home. Turned out my son had to draw blood on 2 separate days due to his weight. Mr. Elmo and Ms. S did an amazing job talking my son through it all. My 5 year old said it didn't hurt at all and even watched the quick blood draw. I appreciate their professionalism and did a wonderful job! read more

This review is for Elmoiz - easily one of the top few medical professionals I've ever been served by (which is a large number) who was so patient, and so compassionate, with me. He was beyond kind and caring when he saw that I was having a tough time. He went out of his way in various ways to make me feel comfortable. I initially chose to stay with this Labcorp location because he has been the only one who has been so successful at being able to draw blood from me and, especially after showcasing such excellent patient skills and humanity, I will always stick to this location so long as he is working there. **I hope Labcorp management reads this message and gives him any boost he is deserving of.** read more

Well, my doctor sent an order for bloodwork and another 24 hour urine test (kidney stones). My husband went to pick up the kit for me, they said they did not get the order. I needed to get it done soon because I have an appointment on Tuesday with my doctor.. I called my doctor's office. They told me they did indeed send all the orders in. The next day I went in myself to pick up the urine kit and was told all the orders were in the computer and we were good they gave me the urine kit and off I went to complete the 24 hr test and return it and get the blood test a day and a half later. . I get there urine test completed ready for my blood test, and they tell me they have nothing in the computer from my doctor!!! (Not even for the 24 hr urine test they already gave me!!)even though the day before they found it, it was on the computer... Luckily, I didn't trust them as this has happened before so I had my doctor send me everything on my phone and I had brought in the urine test with me from the day before spent 24 hours doing the test and they had given me the wrong kit. At that point, they had fresh urine and they refused to put it into the correct kit, so I literally stayed there until I spoke with the supervisor who is very rude who had misinformation and had to call her boss to let her know that, yes, they could use the urine I provided rather than do another 24 hr. test.. lo and behold, the next person that came in behind me, found that they had lost her doctors prescription too. The guy that told me that he found it in the computer after all just the day before stood there like a deer in the headlights acting like he had nothing to do with it... Please go somewhere else I certainly will. read more

I would give no stars if I could. I arrived 15 minutes early as instructed by the confirmation email I received, checked in online using their system and waited in my car for them to call me inside. An hour went by and no one had texted me to come in for my appointment, so I called several times and of course no one answered. I left since I had to get back to work and thankfully I did because it's been 4 hours and their online system is still saying I've been checked in and will receive a text when they're ready for me. I get that there's a lot going on with COVID but that's just unacceptable. I'll be going to quest diagnostics from now on. read more

AVOID THIS LOCATION. Counter staff very disinterested in doing anything to assist patients. No welcome whatsoever. Someone came in to make an appointment in person and was told she had to make the appointment on-line and can not make them in person. Patient was distressed, receptionist (with big black glasses) completely disinterested in helping and didn't even offer to inform patient that they can simply walk in (I informed patient). Second patient questioned his bill estimate and same receptionist pushed his estimate back at him and said "just read this" pointing to a section on the estimate. This young patient who clearly is new to figuring out how insurance works simply needed a little help and not abrupt push back in front of a waiting room of patients. He was embarrassed and just complied rather than getting and clarity. Receptionist just walked away knowing he was confused. Sad and distressing to witness. I'm not saying she's a bad person, just noting that she's disconnected and disinterested in the humans she services. Oh, and even though I made an appointment on line, same receptionist was happy to inform me she doesn't see my appointment so I'm now a walk-in. And so I sit with a full bladder.... read more

This place electronically is in the Stone Age. They only take faxes so be sure to show up with your blood order already printed out. When I was attached to their WiFi to download the order it wouldn't download because their WiFi "was down". The electronic check in machine had a sign which said it wasn't operational. When I asked them why they couldn't receive an email they said because an email could contain a virus. If that is how we all operated our businesses we might as well go back to the 80's I'm dumbfounded that a business serving their customers would literally base their service on a hundred year old technology like a FAX. read more

While the front desk person was nice enough (she was also the person who drew my blood) I'm just wondering WHY I had to wait 20 minutes to have my blood drawn when I arrived five minutes early for my 8:30 appointment? When I signed in, I noticed the gentlemen who signed in before me had an appointment for 9:00 yet he was still taken before me. Why do they have you go through the rigmarole of booking an appointment on line when the office essentially runs on a "first come-first served" basis? Other than that, the front desk girl was very nice but she was way too chatty with the patient she was working on. No way did take 20 minutes to draw his blood & I could hear their entire conversation while I was sitting in the waiting room. There I am sitting there, fasting, light headed and dizzy and thinking "come on..hurry up"! As he was exiting the office, he paused at the front desk for another five minutes to continue their conversation. This place is a dump and the people here lack professionalism. The customer service is awful, their phone doesn't work so they were asking to use the patients phones to reach the doctors. They are busy texting and talking to each other while we sit and wait on them. I've never experienced anything like this. It's dark in here and it feels like I'm at the DMV vs a medical facility. Medicare patients only. Went for blood test. Was asked to sign a form to waive my reimbursement rights to a test as Medicare didn't cover the test. I refused to sign and left because the same thing occurred a few months before for which I was personally billed $29 and it was stated that I signed a Medicare waiver for payment for the test. I did not sign a form; I also did not challenge as for $29 it wasn't worth it. Two weeks ago I went to another Labcorp and was handed a Medicare waiver for part of the blood test that the doctor needed. This time it was $78. I did not sign and left and queried my doctor. I pointed out that the current test was identical to the blood scripts that he had me perform for the last four years (I keep a copy of the scripts) and Medicare covered them all INCLUDING the test that was now being refused. The good doctor was kind enough to send me the Medicare index for approved tests and the test being refused was indeed covered. He also stated that he doesn't prefer Labcorp but West Pacific Medical Laboratory who gets it right every time. This morning I was at the doctor and since Labcorp is across the hall, I explained the above to the receptioninst. She said that the refusal comes from the computer, not her analysis and I could take it up with Labcorp. I noted that Labcorp just made a six billion dollar purchase of another bunch of test labs. I guess that they want Medicare patients to pay for it. read more

The wait here today was awful. The staff was not very friendly and seem disengaged. Don't understand why this lab is so slow. There weren't that many people in there. They need more staff. One guy has been on the phone "on hold" trying to work something out for a patient that isn't in here. He hasn't said a word being on the phone for awhile now. Handle the people in front of you first. I left for an appointment, came back and it was still a horrible wait. People that have appointments are waiting an hour or more. My first wait was 45 min when I left to go to another appt. I asked how long the wait was going to be the second time around...the gal said "10 min each person and there are 4 ahead of you"...it's really like 30 min each person. It's not good. They break for lunch at 12:30pm, but there is a sign that says 11:00am on the door. Just really awful service here. And why are they on the computers for such long periods of time?! Other labs I've been to it's not been that way. Won't come back to this one. Edit: Once I finally got back to the room, it was quick and the guy was friendly, but overall there just has to be better etiquette up front and more people to help. read more

I came in here because I had to get my blood drawn for a blood test. From the moment I stepped into the office, I didn't feel as welcomed as I experience when I go to other medical places. I suppose labs aren't as friendly as a pediatrician's office. The woman who took my information, I'll call her Brace-face since that's the only thing that distinguishes her from the blond woman, who I'll talk about later. Contrasting the hospitality that I usually receive whenever I check in at a medical office, regardless if I'm a regular or a first-timer, Brace-face was the complete opposite. While she only talked to me to sternly answer my questions about some paperwork, she switched identities within the blink of an eye when a Caucasian father and son walked in the office. She was friendly enough to him to make small talk, asked him about his day, and mentioned his son's first time being there (I'm assuming the father is a regular). Talk about two-faced. So the blond woman and Brace-face take me to a room with one of those comfy chairs you usually find at a dentist's office. They sat me down, and prepared to draw blood from my right arm. Following their directions, I made sure to straighten my arms and not move a bit. The blond woman sticks the needle in my vein and takes blood. However, she didn't get the sufficient amount and started wiggling the needle around as though that'll gain more blood in the tube. The blond woman and Brace-face figured out what to do and they took the needle out of my arm, applied bandage to it, and started preparing for my left arm. Without knowing their procedure whatsoever, I asked, "Uh, are you drawing more blood from my left arm?" to which Brace-face monotonously replied "Yeah, we didn't get enough blood from your right arm." Well thanks for telling me that you're drawing way more blood than expected, all because of blond woman's mistake. Brace-face takes a good amount of blood out of my left arm; her procedure was painless and got the job done. I mean, I guess Brace-face's efficiency was the only redeemable part of this. While she drew my blood, she asked if I drank any water beforehand to which I said no. She then condescendingly answered "Well that explains why we can't see your vein." Excuuuse me, I may not have prepared for this blood test (because I never knew I was gonna get my blood drawn until the day of a prior doctor appointment), but shouldn't "professional" medical people like Brace-face and blond woman figure out where my veins are...? After they drew blood, Brace-face bluntly excused me: "Okay, you're done." The chair set-up consisted of a foldable armrest that hung above my lap, kinda like the lap bars on a rollercoaster. Neither women had enough courtesy to remove the armrest so I could escape the hellhole. I managed to use whatever strength I had left in my arms to get out. Call me dramatic, but I was NOT amused. The worst part of this horrible experience with this LabCorp was the women's insincere lack of apology and care. They clearly messed up and didn't even bother to compensate for their mistakes. I understand that mistakes do happen, yet missing a vein and eventually drawing more blood from a separate part of the body is just a whole new level of screwing up. read more
