I took my son today for blood work. The place is clean and the staff is very nice! We might have waited 10 minutes or less!

My 5 start review is given to AFC after my horrible visit to CityMD…read more AFC Urgent Care let's you get on line at home. You cam also register online. A message is sent to you when you should head to the facility. Once you get the a very profesional and caring receptionist takes your name and your copay. 5 minutes later you are taken into a room and the person who takes you in proceeds to get the information about your visit. The dr. comes in 2 minutes later. Notice I say the DR. not THE PROVIDER. I needed X-rays the technician came in right away my expectations for the report time were set , 15 minutes. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Great profesional and caring service. Please do not go to CitiMD if you value your time and you want a profesional service. Also if you want to be seen by a dr. and not a PROVIDER whatever that means.

I went to AFC urgent care in lyndhurst.  What a waste of money! I wish I could get a refund for my $75 copay.  I clearly discussed my symptoms with the doctor.  I had a cough, fever, aches in my thighs, and I explained the crackling sounds when I lay down. I also told her that 10+ years ago I had bronchitis and another time I had a pneumonia.  Using the stethoscope she reassured me that my lungs were clear. (No xray) She said I had allergies and prescribed an allergy medication. After that visit I did not feel any better. In fact I felt worse. Two days later I went to my primary physician and he immediately heard the rattling sounds in my lungs and detected a pneumonia and sent me for Xrays. I got my results and my primary physician was right. He prescribed antibiotics, prednisone, and a cough medicine. Misdiagnosing a patient is unacceptable. I am not happy with AFC. I want a refund!

My primary Lab Corp location was closed due to an emergency plumbing situation. I absolutely HAD to drop off testing materials so they could be sent out and prior to being outdated. These materials were only good for today. I located the building after researching on Google, as no phone number seems to exist. First red flag. Entered the office and was met with a grungy waiting area. I was shocked to be met with the overwhelming odor of marijuana. The smell was overpowering and unmistakable. Red flag number two. There was a single woman sitting in the waiting area. I tried to orientate myself with where to check in or speak to someone, but no such possibilities seemed present. Confused, I tried again, trying to figure out why a MEDICAL LAB reeked of cannabis. The woman in the waiting area, sitting on her cell phone, asked from her seat if I needed lab work. I asked if she worked there or where the staff were. She repeated the same question asking if I needed lab work. I simply now had to assume she was an employee of some kind, albeit one who smelled of marijuana on the job in a medical facility. I showed her my doctor's order, explained my situation that my materials were time sensitive and only good for today, and that they must be dropped off at a Lab Corp to be sent out as per my doctor's requirements. She turned me away. No explanation except an unintelligible "No, we only do Optum." I asked what this meant and she could not explain. I asked if this was a Lab Corp facility. She said yes. I asked why my script that says "Lab Corp" wouldn't be accepted. No answer. No offer to point me to a location where I could go, no suggestion for how to handle the time sensitive materials I needed to have dropped off, just went back to her chair and her cell phone. Ridiculous. Watch out for these folks, especially considering the overly- obvious substance aromas occurring here.

But when I walked into the building and opened the office door, the light was off, the chairs were piled up in a corner and I did not walk in. Looked like the beginning of a scary movie. Yelp has…read morebeen EXTREMELY helpful by owners and workers reading their own reviews to see how unprofessional and arrogant many can be. Which brings me to United Medical in Lyndhurst NJ. The front desk workers come and go there very quickly these days ( I'm sure due to their off lousy attitude and demeaning way they converse with patients. ANYTHING they don't want to here or goes against their paycheck they either interrupt you or put you on hold ( latest tactic). Just got off the phone with a sour, ( hates her job) front desk woman who continued to interrupt and give me a speech like I'm an idiot. People please remember to get names to who you talk to ( I forgot this time) so it's much easier to call them out on their " holier than thou" attitudes!! I have found more and more in medical/ dentistry/ pharmacy have these power trips on the patient since they have your files, personal history and can make or break you with not getting you an appointment or sending a message through. I'm sure the obnoxious ones are the ' wannabes'. You know? The disgruntled ones who can't advance past the front desk: cashier . So my experience was at 11:30am on Saturday 9/2/23 at the above listed office ( for anyone there reading this). I give today one star and there is also one terrible Dr there ( male late 30's mid 40's) but some who are very good and overall 4 stars

Then I made an appointment with Dr Goykhman and they canceled my appointment and told me they would not see me ever since I missed 3 with the nutritionist. Helen was very rude. I have been in the hospital several times with heart problems and open heart surgery and this is not the way to treat a patient.
