I am baffled by the negative reviews here, as my experience was excellent. I was sent here for several hours of testing by my doctor, and was dreading it. However, my experience was so much better than expected. They were ready for my appointment and were on time. Check in process was simple. The receptionist was welcoming, kind, and helpful. The techs were absolutely lovely, courteous, and made me feel comfortable. They also accommodated my various medical needs given the amount of time I would be there. The office was comfortable and clean, as were the lab rooms and facilities. Countless patients received care while I was there over several hours. Appointments were conducted in a timely, efficient, manner. Waits were minimal. Overall, excellent experience and will be back for any future lab work needs! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The woman at the front desk was very rude. I can see why there was no one in the waiting room at 11:00 on a Thursday. This location was always crowded. I would suggest use of another location or go to Quest. I followed all procedure: made appointment, registered online and checked in. I'm sitting there waiting for the text. Then I hear someone calling a name that sounded like mine I go to check the board and it was another name. So I sit back down. I get a text and go to the desk and the woman at the desk hardly looks at me. She obviously was having a bad day but that is not my problem. An overall nasty person. I wish I had gotten her name. I go in and she says go wait on the line. So I look and say there is no line (I was just making sure I was standing in the right place). So she says very nastily it's over there (there was no line). Then a woman comes in after me looking for the line and she seems confused. I will be making a complaint to the company. read more

Came here for a pre-employment drug test... it was a urine test. The front desk DID NOT ask me if I need a cup of water. I told the nurse or whatever she was that I didn't have to go to the bathroom, but asked for a cup of water, she gave me an attitude. That was not necessary. I mean, look.... all I asked was a cup of water, so that I CAN pee in your cup. I didn't ask for your medical licenses. There was no need to get annoyed with me. If you don't like working with the public, then seek another profession. read more

I've been here twice to have routine lab work. The place is clean, fast and once you get beyond the receptionist, great. Most times there is no wait and walk ins are accepted. Unfortunately, both times i have gone they had staff at the reception that seemed less than helpful or even accessible. Accessing them by phone is not possible and once there they spend little time at the window depending instead on computer registration in the lobby. Today the receptionist wouldn't help a senior patent to find her zip code so she can complete her registration. She actually was about to send her away until i suggested to the patient and staff that she please look up her address on google which would include the clients zip code. Doing so allowed the patient to complete her registration and be seen. Once beyond the lack of luster of Reception, clients find competent and professional staff. LabCorp would do their professional staff a great service if they hired and trained their receptionist with customer service skills. read more

I took my 7 year old to get blood drawn and the whole experience was outstanding. From the person checking us in to Juliana who was outstanding my daughter did not feel a thing . I really like this new system they have in place and if you ask me , it should be by appointment only as everything runs so smooth from the patients to the staff not being flustered. No one likes needles but drug addicts! I had blood work to do and was in the area and decided to come here around 12:50pm on a Friday. I had made no appointment. There was no one here so I soon as I walked in, I was greeted. I signed in and they took my insurance info, ID card, and doctor's prescription. Two minutes later, I'm sitting in the room getting my blood drawn. The technician works very quick and usually, technicians have difficult time finding a nerve (yes, I'm one of those). Long story short, needle in and few seconds later, done. I'm taking 1 star off because when the needle was taken off, I felt a bit of a sting....ouch! Other than that, there were no issues. There's parking here. It's behind the building and shared with other offices so it's limited. You can also park off streets but just read street cleaning rules. I recommend that if you decide to come here, do not come early in the morning, nights or weekends. Like any other doctor's or lab corp, it's when they are busiest because everyone is there. On my way out of this place, which is literally 12:58pm, there were about 5 people waiting so I lunch they are the lunchtime people. read more

I'm only giving 3 stars cause of the rude worker that checked me in, despite her, everything went well. I came in to take my 1 hr glucose test and when she found out I ate beforehand, she had the nerve to tell me that I was going to fail despite my doctor telling me that I could eat. When I explained to her that having protein will not affect my glucose levels, she continued to tell me I was going to fail and will need to come back for another test. Well, if I do, I'm definitely not coming back here. She has no right to tell a patient this, she is not a physician. Lastly, all check ins are electronically now and majority of patients that were coming in were elderly who needed assistance. No one would assist them other than other patients, like myself in the waiting room. It was quick but if you feel like dealing with rude workers, then this is the place to be. read more

please stay away if you are taking your baby/child here for pediatric routine bloodwork or at least to speak up & ask for phlebotomist who has experience taking blood for kids. because not all of them do like the phlebotomist we have encountered.( i asked for her name but they wouldn't disclose her name to us) we made that big mistake for not asking. please read what we have went through here at this location, so your baby/child dont have to go through traumatized experience like we did. i am a mom & was in teared for my poor son! beyond traumatized experience for my son who is only 14 months. the 1st phlebotomist (they would'nt want to disclose her name to us) she was so unfriendly, rude, & had no clues what she was doing. she poked my son, even though she wasnt even sure that she saw the veins. i even asked her "are you sure" after she poked him, she kept moving the needle around. come on, do you not have feeling?? he is a baby only 14 months. my son was crying in pain then she called for help, but also was laughing at the same time... what is the world is wrong with her? where is work ethnic? why labcorp hired an employee like this to represent their company ??? then she left without telling us anything that another phlebotomist will take her over her sloppy job! we waited for 30min+ my son was crying in pain. then another phlebotomist came to assist who was very friendly, she took a look at my son other arm (left) now to check for veins. she said she couldnt see and not dare to poke him agian. she will ask for another phlebotomist which is her name is "blue" who has more experience...she was good, was able to find the vein. again, if you are dealing with a baby/child finding vein is diffucult. please assign an experience phlebotomist to do the withdraw not someone who doesn't know what in the world she is doing! please retrain your staff please stay away from here or make sure to ask for someone who can do it right!!! also staff was walking around without a mask! unbelievable baby/kids are not able to vaccinated yet. staff should wear mask at all times! read more

I chose to get my COVID antibody testing at this location because they are open on Saturdays (7-11). Very efficient process from checking in via tablet kiosks that scans your ID, short wait, an the actual bloodwork itself. I was in and out fairly quick. Street parking isn't allowed right in front of the building, but there is parking lot behind the building with plenty of spots read more

Worst experience ever! Made an appointment for bloodwork - could not figure out how to navigate the mobile site. It was 2:00pm, received LITTLE help from the front desk. I spent about 10 minutes trying to figure things out with NO HELP. When I told the woman at the front desk I was not happy and my reason why she proceeded to stand up and tell me I was a lier. WOW!!! I hope this office has cameras so the manager could see how crazy her staff acted towards me. read more

This place works so slow like snails unlike the one in Clifton. When I got in the room to see blood I was out of there in two minutes. I always wondering why you wait 30 minutes and they take two minutes to draw your blood. There were only two other people in the waiting room in front of me. I would only go here because of the convenience of the location. Only go here if it's close to you. Other than that just avoid make sure you are not in hurry and expect to wait. read more

Amazing people! We went to this facility to do blood work for both myself and my wife. When the work was done, we made a mistake to rush and she faded in front of the facility. Service at the center where blood is drawn, is generally good. What I have a MAJOR PROBLEM with is supply of results to my Urologist (Community Care of Latham, NY.) Without exception lately, results are not available to them on my date of service unless they call for them. THAT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! read more

We were here to get bloodwork for our toddler which as every parent knows is a stressful experience. Ms Blue did the draw and she was absolutely fantastic. I was expecting a lot of screaming and distress but my daughter did not even flinch, kept watching her show and in a minute we were done! Rude & a long wait time. Plus one of the phlebomist's who was at the desk talked about me so loudly & another co worker came out from the back to see who I was. Clearly, they haven't heard about HIPPA. When I was called back they don't even come to the front the phlebotomist just yelled my name from the back. This has been our worst labcorp experience. First, the staff could not correct the name on the prescription. It took over 1.5 hours to just correct the name and kept my diabetic waiting, who was on fasting. The clinician who took her blood was rude and not at all cooperative. After that, they called us to say they ran short of blood for the reports. Even though we informed them what tests to perform on priority, they did the exact opposite and did not perform the tests for which we need to be on fasting. Hence, we were forced to do them again. After that, they put wrong diagnostic codes, which were eventually denied by insurance, resulting in a bill of over $2000. This place --- never again! read more

I did not have an appointment and showed up at opening, 7am. Got there a little before and when they unlocked the door, the techs were all very nice, saying Good Morning. (After my experience at other places, this goes a long way.) I was the second to sign-in and they took me about a minute after signing in. They took my information, since I was a new patient at this location, and about 5 minutes later I was getting my blood drawn. The tech was so sweet and even opened the blinds to let some sunlight in. She was kind and patient. The place was clean and orderly. I will definitely be back at this location. read more

Been here three times in the past two weeks. Let me just say - EVERY time has been a bad experience. Every worker is rude and refuses to help or answer basic questions. Do the people who work here nor realize that some people are coming here because they are SICK and need tests done. One receptionist was so mean I actually left in tears. I don't know how this place has good reviews. I gave up my seat so an older woman can sit and then they yelled at me for standing and said I had to sit ... THERE WERE NO SEATS. Highly recommend Labcorp in Lyndhurst especially for young children. We took our two toddlers here today for bloodwork and the staff was amazing. Everything was easy, making the appointment, checking in... we were taken right away and brought to a private area - staff/techs were so friendly and knew how to make the kids happy (even my son who has been a tough one at any and all appointments his entire life). I was expecting an absolute nightmare but it was the opposite!! Such a positive experience for us and the kids. Thankyou to the understanding and caring staff! read more

They did not draw the blood properly for my son's Glucose test. I need to bring him to another facility to get his blood work done again. I challenged the technician and told her this is not they why the test was done in the past and she said no your doctor changed it. It was done wrong. Used to be a good place to get your blood taken. I've came here several times not only for myself but for my whole family. Then lab technicians are great with kids especially younger aged children. No handicap entrance. Everyone is nice and efficient but there is no handicapped parking or a handicapped entrance. They make you walk through the bio med testing space through a back door you're not supposed to use. Parking lot is a nightmare. Every building should have proper handicapped access. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Went for critical blood work necessary for a life saving bone marrow transplant for a family member. The lab was rude and dismissive and REFUSED to draw the blood necessary for the clinical trial. The bloodwork was ordered by Johns Hopkins Hospital TO LABCORP as part of a clinical trial and several other LabCorp locations around the country have performed the blood work for other family members. They were completely unprofessional and unwilling to help. They continuously displayed a complete lack of professionalism and disregard for the life or death nature of the requested labs. read more

Yesterday I took my 3 year old daughter to get her blood drawn at 9 am. I was probably more stressed out than my daughter as I remembered the last time her blood was drawn at our pediatric office it wasn't pretty. The office was quite busy as I had to stand the whole time after I checked in due to the crowd, but the staff were courteous as they could be under the circumstances, and when we got to the doctor, she was so good in finding a vein and drew 3 vials of blood quickly that my daughter didn't have time to cry. I'd definitely come again if my daughter needs to do this in the future. read more

I used to come here every few months without appointments. The wait could be between 30 minutes to 2 hours. Now I make an appointment for each time I go. Staff and phlebotomist could see my toddler was not feeling well and they were so sweet and moved very quickly to get me in and out. I really appreciated that. I'll give you one star! I'm very disgusted! My daughter went there this morning at 7:00 am, she took my grandson because none of us, family or a friend weren't available to babysit him, he is almost 4 years old. After she did the sacrifice to take a cab with the little money she had, very early ( it was snowing and couldn't wait for a bus with my grandson who is very prone to get colds easily). Well, she goes in wait and when she get her turn to get the blood work and a drug test after, one of the front staff ladies tells her she cannot goes in the bathroom with the boy! My daughter explained to her, very calm because she is educated, to please, help her because she needed both tests urgently the date line was today, her job needed this done! She even told her that she had to take a cab to get there, and it was difficult to get one when it's snowing and you are coming from another town, we all know that! Told this lady that the blood work takes only 2 minutes and a minute to pee in a cup, and you are out! She was going to work later and it was going to be difficult to come back! This lady couldn't have a heart and tell her: "Ok, I'll help you and will stay out here by the door with your son while you are in the bathroom". I understand the law if you can't be with a child in the bathroom with her, it's a drug test, yes! But she couldn't have the heart and ask a fellow worker or herself to stand 2 minutes by the bathroom door just 2 darn minutes with my grandson so she could get this over with, he wasn't going to move or run out as he is a well mannered boy. My daughter called me very upset and sobbing, I was furious! This place can be clean and all as I learned, but this particular person is horrible! I wish I have the name of this lady to tell you exactly who she is because I don't want to blame the whole staff. My daughter had to go back AGAIN in the afternoon, pay a cab AGAIN otherwise she was going to be late for work after! All these worries, the back and forth because nobody helped her in the morning, oh my Jesus! Lady I hope you never have to go through situations like this one. I think that you don't have a humble heart! You hurt my daughter... Later you all apologized but the harm was already done. Oh, and the manager wasn't going to fire you for that, my daughter would have explained and apologized for you.
