It is so sad to see young women employed there that can't take the time to greet people with a smile and cheer. The few times I've been there I always hear the staff chatting and laughing but when it comes time to greet their clients, NO SMILES or appreciation of the client that have created a job for them. This is so sad. I make it point to start conversations with the staff to try and break the ice and they usually come around. What about the clients that aren't feeling well or elderly they could use a good smile and friendly greeting. I hope things change their since you don't really have a choice if that's where doctors are sending you. Believe me, I would love to go somewhere else if I could. I see I'm not the only one that found the front desk girls to be less than friendly. HOWEVER, Glen was the technician that drew my blood and HE WAS AMAZING!!! He was friendly, and when I said I'm not good with needles; he said " Well, I am!" Which made me laugh and made me feel more at ease! He was able to draw blood after only one prick of a needle! If I could request who draws my blood in the future it would be him every time!! THANK YOU GLEN!!! read more

I can not say enough about this Lab Corp. thank you thank you thank you for this experience ladies. We took our ten month old here for blood work after a HORRIFIC experience at the lab Corp in Rancho mirage. Never go to lab Corp rancho mirage!! These ladies knew exactly what to do. They found my ten month olds vein right away and took all of 1 min to complete. They were awesome with my baby girl. The ladies at the front desk were so kind. Horrible experience!!!!!! Took my 4 year old child in only to be assisted by a new phlebotomist who had no knowledge of how to use a butterfly needle, yet still injected my childs arm as if she knew!!!! After a few trys an experienced phlebotomist came to reinject my 4 year old child, if commonsense would had been use there would had been no need for my child to be hurt, although she is 4 she is well behaved, we hardly ever have issues with her crying especially for blood drawn! Very unprofessional under no circumstances should a child be used for practice of a new phlebotomist!!!! She also had a urine test, they handed me a cup with no wipes!!! Make sure to ask for wipes it's a very important part to collect urine!! read more

Great place to get your blood drawn except on two separate occasions I got the same horrible phlembotomist. My issue has nothing to do with her drawing my blood and has everything to do with her trying to recruit me to work for Primerica. Primerica is one of those mid level marketing schemes where she would make money off me coming to work there. She made both of my visits end on such an awkward note and I doubt I am the only one shes done this to. I really hope they fire her for doing this so that I dont have to once again hear her try to convince me how great it is and me have to tell her NO. She didnt remember me or anything so the second time I wondered if she would try again and sure enough she started saying the same things she did the first time. This lab is amazing. I made my appoint online. Walked in to a waiting room full of people. I thought, so much for having an appointment! I settled in for my "long wait" as there were so many others already there. To my surprise, I was called within 2 minutes. When I asked the gal taking my blood (Yolanda), why I was being taken ahead of everyone else. She said, its simple... YOU MADE AN APPOINTMENT, the other people are walk-ins. So be sure to book online. Or at the very least, call for an appointment ahead of time. I was in and out in 5 minutes!! Ask for Yolanda!! We were chatting and I didn't even realize she had drawn my blood. She's that good!! read more

I wanted to give zero stars but that was not an option. This place is seriously terrible. Particularly the older gray haired women with a bob. There a huge sign in the waiting room that said to protect client confidentiality please step outside to use your cell phone. I decided to follow this rule and went outside after waiting for an unusually long time. The gray haired woman came running out shoving a urine sample bottle in my face screaming through the lobby that I needed to take a urine sample. Yeah great projection of client confidentiality. How un-professional an insane is that? Did the entire lobby need to see my urine sample? What happened to protecting patients privacy?? Its your own damn sign that told me to go outside to use my phone and your the maniac actually not protecting client confidentiality. All while I am just following your rules. Being on my phone inside would have been less invasive than the gray haired woman running around the lobby with my urine sample. Maybe she needs to refresh herself with patient privacy and the rules in her own building. The only one violating patient confidentiality an privacy was the woman working there. IRONIC. Giving them two stars because I'm always in and out within 5-10 minutes. Phlebotomist (not sure her name) with the short blonde hair is always a total bitch. I've Been there 3 times & she's always the only one there and never even greets people or even has a smile on her face. Less than one star! The attitudes of the staff and the competence of the staff is seriously concerning. Went to this location for a couple of blood tests. Checked in and had a seat. Was called in for the draw (and she used my full name so I know it was me) and when I had a seat she asked me to confirm my birthdate. I told her that's not my birthdate. She said: "isn't your name ****"? I said that's my last name not my first name. When she finally got it straightened out there was another person in the waiting room with a first name that is the same as my last name (since my last name is a common first name for women). WOW! I said you really need to be more careful. That is kind of careless and potentially dangerous. She got very angry and defensive. I said you need to pay more attention to the full name. I don't know if she was distracted or sloppy or whatever, but that kind of mistake is very distressing considering the nature of what they do there. I would not return to this location. read more

Unfortunately you can't give zero stars otherwise this place would get it. The most unprofessional individual who has no business working in a desert community which is full of 50+. So first of all, they couldn't locate my lab work order which was faxed by my doctor's office. They didn't seem to know which end was up and considering the nature of what they do there, they really need to be more on top of it. When they finally did locate it I had a seat and waited to be called. When I was called they mixed up my name and once I confirmed it was me she was calling, I went in and sat in the chair. I made a comment about how busy they were and this person says: "yeah, it's all the old, crippled desert rats today". WHAT?!! That's a problem on a number of levels. It's unprofessional, it's insensitive, it's callous and if she doesn't like older people, SHE HAS NO BUSINESS WORKING OUT HERE! My advice after reading some of the other reviews of this location is go somewhere else. read more
