I had an appointment but wasn't seen until 45 minutes later. That is not usually the case, so not that big a deal. The big deal is that an angry acting technician very badly hurt my arm when she jammed the needle in. Normally, I can barely feel the needle but this was brutal. And when I expressed that I was in pain, she kept right on and never said a word. She then proceeded to attempt to snap the elastic band off of the top of my arm, and the attempt failed-painfully. So she immediately repeated the painful snap and thank goodness for me the tight strap came off the second time. This woman should never be allowed to be around another person with a needle!! I booked an appointment for blood work and it only took me 30 minutes to get checked in do a pee sample and draw blood. I loved my tech she made sure to keep me laughing and talking about things I loved to do. read more

Came here with my husband. He had to give a urine specimen for drug testing for a new job he was starting. This was the lab the company used, so we had no choice in the matter. When we entered, there was no one in the waiting room. I assumed we wouldn't have to wait very long. I assumed incorrectly which is why they only get 3 stars. The lady at the window was very nice. We were told to have a seat and he'd be called back shortly. 30 some odd minutes later, he was finally called back. Did I mention we were the only people in the waiting room? He was in the back for all of about 3 minutes and then we left. I just for the life of me cannot understand why we had to wait so long when we were the only ones in the office. Unless we are left with no other choice but to come to this office by an employer, we will never return here again. read more

I had to come here for work- a new employee needed a urine test. The staff was nice but the wait was very long (35-40 mins) and the waiting room was poorly maintained. I added a photo. They could stand to put a little $$ into better chairs. Once the new employee was called he was back out shortly afterward so I'm assuming the actual services rendered runs smoothly. read more

These people had me waiting for more than an hour and people were literally walking in and being seen in 5 minutes. When I first came in, there was a woman stating that she had been waiting for a while and other people were going before her (First RED FLAG). They told her they had appointments and that's why they were going before her. I noticed a sign that stated, "If you have been waiting for more than 60 minutes, come to the desk" (Second RED FLAG). I went to the front and she said, "Did you check in? I can't believe you haven't been seen yet". Humiliation is what I experience when I went into the back. An older black woman told me to take off my coat and my poncho. It was 40 degrees outside. I had a long sleeve bodysuit that was small and rose up, underneath, because I never expected to have to take off my poncho. I was exposed like a prisoner. I was treated like a criminal. I am a young attractive black woman. I feel like a was discriminated against, because of my looks. I was professionally dressed. It was two older black women in the room, (a CO and warden) one told me I needed to test again after I brought back the samples. I mind you this is at 1:35 minute mark when it was only 6 people when I came. I had a similar experience before. I feel like the black women were jealous and wanted to exert their power over me. Discrimination and racism can exist within the same so-called community. read more

The VA sent me to this place for blood work. They are across the street from St Vincent's Riverside. I would have given them 5 Stars if they had a bigger sign as I wound up parking in the Hospital garage and going to them on foot. The whole place was clean and comfortable. Everybody was nice and efficient. I was in and out in under 20 minutes which is quite fast as I am in my mid 70's and move slow. I am USN retired and I am not a robot. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!!!!! Made an appointment so I didn't have to wait long but when I got in there the lady that gave me the cup for the urine sample was insanely rude. Barely gave me instruction on which bathroom to use and then basically yelled at my for using the employee when there was no employee bathroom sign on the door. How i was supposed to know that before hand is beyond me. 0/10 recommend this place. read more

I've been to the Riverside Location and the one @ University and Beach Blvd. I think they are trained to be slow and act like they don't give a crap!! It never fails, you wait forever if there's no one in the waiting room. Could be hours if the lobby is crowded. Employees usually act disinterested and look like they would rather be anywhere than here. I'm going to change my insurance so that I can go to a different lab. They SUCK!!! read more

Lab Corp is not a good company to deal with. I went for blood work and they made me sign paper work before getting the blood work done. They billed me a year later and said that I had marked the paper work to reflect that I would pay for the tests that Medicare would not cover. That was not true, I had not marked anything that I would pay for it. I have supplement insurance and my supplement sent me an EOB that stated that I owed nothing. Lab Corp is still wanting me to pay for something my insurance said I do not owe them for but they are so ignorant that they decided to involve a collection company. I would not recommend Lab Corp to anyone as they have proved that they are not a decent company to deal with, anyone who would wait a year to bill for something and yet already received an EOB a year ago stating that the patient owes nothing .They are a rip off and this is like dealing with a scam artist. I will make sure I never have blood work ran by them and also no one I know will either. read more
