Who likes getting blood drawn? Maybe if you're a vampire. But if you're like me and need to get some blood tests done quickly, then read on. Parking is free and easy at the building in front or in covered garage. Suite is on ground floor. When you come in, sign in and they will check you in and bring you back for some electronic paper work. Have your doctor's order, insurance card and a credit or debit card ready for them to scan. While they won't bill your credit or debit card, they will if they bill you and you don't pay up. The tech will scan all of your cards right there in the room and hand them back. Then you will sign some actual papers and then hop into the chair with arm pads where you will have your blood drawn. Personally, I never watch the needle go into my arm, and I gaze out into distance where you have a pleasant view of I-610 traffic. And while getting your blood drawn is no fun, neither is sitting in that traffic out there. At least you're in there, in good hands. Stephanie, the technician is a "good stick" and imparts a lot of confidence in finding your vein and doing the deed quickly. Once the necessary tubes are drawn, the tech will put some gauze and special stretchy band tape to hold pressure. No appointments are needed and it was a simple process. Facility is clean and the tech is professional and efficient. Results go directly to your ordering physician, but if you want to see your results online, there is a portal you can log into. I haven't yet, but that option is cool. read more

I'm now leaving 1919 610N location, the ladies her were extremely kind and professional, the facility was clean and although there were 5 people ahead of me when I signed in, I was in and out. I'll definitely come here again. Before coming here I was at the 1213 Hermann and 1200 Binz locations, the young ladies were rude and unprofessional. The older lady's lab coat was dirty and I walked out after 10-15 minutes. Don't go to labcorp in the museum district! read more

Wow - all the positive reviews about this location were spot on. My blood and lab work was handled by a Ms Stephanie. She did an outstanding job from start to finish. I had an appointment, and was in and out in under 15 minutes. The office was spotless, obviously well-maintained So if you have to have lab work done, I absolutely recommend this location. Actually drove further out to this location than the other nearby locations because the other locations had very poor reviews. I am so glad I went to this location. read more

I made this appointment for my lunch break since it was supposed to be an in and out and Ive now wasted an hour with Labcorp. Horrible communication system. This is not a reflection of staff but of the appointment system. The clinic is set to have lunch hours from 1 pm to 2pm and the online appointment system allowed me to make an appointment at 1pm. I am so upset that I drove 30 mins out of my way to an appointment that isn't going to be fulfilled. I would never use this company if my school did not require me to. If you're required to use this company don't make appointments between lunch hours you may not have one. read more

My pregnant wife had fasted for this, and I stayed home to watch our child while my pregnant wife went to get a lab done. She forgot her paper but had an image of it in her email but they refused to print it out for her and said she had to return "another day" which is of course not easy to arrange when you have to watch a child. As a software developer who has worked in the healthcare industry, it's ridiculous how backwards a facility like this is that their employees don't even know how to use email and printers and have zero compassion for mothers. read more

Every single labcorp I've been to has the same type of unhappy employee that reminds me of Squidward with an "I'd rather not be here" button. Plus, they're all in old and dirty buildings. But now, there's this brand new medical office building in garden oaks, and yes, the labcorp here is brand shiny new. The employees are actually in a much better mood than other locations. Plus, here's the kicker, I signed in at 8:48, and out at 8:55. If that's not efficient, I don't know what is. Be warned though, they must either not like to answer the phone or the building is so new that the phone number listed is incorrect. read more

Best location to get blood drawn. If you're so lucky to have Stephanie then you'd be in and out in no time. She was quick, efficient, very caring, and super nice. Other than that, plenty of parking, very clean (I'm thinking this place is somewhat new), there's a person working the front desk of the building that can direct you to where you'd need to go. read more
