They ignored my pointing out the best place to do the draw and two different staff members (right out of trade school, no doubt) were unable to do a simple blood draw. I walked in on a Thursday around 10:30am. This LabCorp had better reviews than others in my area, so I skipped my appt at a different location in lieu of this one. The place was not busy at this time. The receptionist was thorough, clear, concise and helpful! When I was called, the person helping me made it quick, easy and pretty painless (I don't have good veins in my arms, so I always go through my hand, which I told the technician as soon as I sat down). I had to take a solution for a separate test, and then wait in the waiting room (which by 11:15 got pretty crowded) and return, which took no time at all. The parking lot was pretty packed at the time, though I was able to take one of two that were available, but it was FREE parking at least. All in all, a pretty good experience. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!! I used to walk into blood tests all calm and ready to get it done, Now the thought of blood tests scares me. Had a horrible experience with this lab corp a couple months back. First of all the young woman taking my blood was so inexperienced it took her like 10 minutes to find a vein and of course that being on my right arm when I specifically asked her to find one on my left (note that my veins are VERY visible since I'm super pale) So I basically started feeling super light headed as she took my blood test to the point where I started seeing black circles infront of my eyes! I repeatedly asked her to get me orange juice or ANYTHING because I was about to faint right then. She kept on saying "okay when we're done I will" I told her that I couldn't wait and I was about to pass out she kept insisting I wait. Guess what happens next ? Yep I fainted. I was 16 at the time and my dad was outside waiting for me in the waiting room. While I was passed out NO ONE bothered to tell my dad that his 16 year old daughter was passed out. All I remember was them trying to make it feel like nothing happened and when my dad walked in and asked "what's going on?" Like any concerned parent would some RUDE old lady worker with an extreme attitude replied back saying "Can't you see?! She's passed out!" Like really ??? That's how you're gonna talk to a patients father when their kid is passed out? While all this was happening the young lady who was taking my blood literally fled the room avoiding the situation and never came back as everyone tried helping me. All I can say is that this was the worst experience I've ever had with blood tests and I for sure will NEVER recommend this location to my worst enemy. read more

I've had great service here before, but this last time I came it was very bad. The receptionist was very rude, I even ended up calling the headquarters after. The woman who took my blood said she'd "use a baby needle since you're not fat and it won't bruise"- it actually was the most painful blood drawing experience I've ever had. Needless to say I have a 2" bruise now on my arm days later. I don't know if this is new staff but I won't risk experiencing these 2 ladies again. read more

I have always had very good experiences getting my lab work done at LabCorp on Verdugo Blvd. in Glendale. Unfortunately my experience today was not a good one. After being in social isolation for weeks, I expected that this medical establishment would take proper precautions to make patients feel comfortable. Upon entering their very small waiting room, I discovered a small crowd of people, unable to maintain proper distancing because of space limitations. At check-in, I was given the option of being called on my cellphone while waiting in the hallway. I took that option. When I was finally called in for my blood test, there was an even larger group of people in the waiting room than before. I do not know whether the staff sanitized the key pad used to check in, but I made certain to use my hand sanitizer after checking in. The tech who drew my blood was skilled and friendly. When I commented about the crowd in the waiting room, she replied that they were seeing more patients since things have opened up. I expressed my concern to her, since I'm 79 years old and have a preexisting lung condition. I wondered why patients weren't given the option of using chairs in the hallway. She said that this option hadn't been considered. When I took my dog for her rabies shot, I felt completely safe because of the safety measures they had in place. Am disappointed that LabCorp isn't exercising better precautionary measures. read more

Over my 10yrs span of routine blood work from different labs and hospitals, Juliette is the best phlebotomist I've met all these years. Some phlebotomist are either ill-trained, don't have enough experience, or aren't focused enough that they leave unnecessary bruise mark (eh-hem... Kaiser P). Mind you, I have high tolerance to pain but the guys who leave a bruise mark also make the experience painful. Juliette is someone who is not just good but she's in a higher level. She has an amazing personality who exudes peace and gentleness. Encountering her is like getting a glimpse of heaven. Seriously, that alone is mad skills! How do you make a patient experience heaven when they are there to draw blood??? I would describe her as being angelic and it would not be an overstatement. Besides her personality, she is highly skilled like no other. I had a moment of shock how she does it without making me feel a thing. It's very rare you meet someone who is walking out their "calling" in life. Meaning, she goes over and beyond doing something for a paying job. She seems like she enjoys her work and carries it out with personal conviction and purpose. She is a great asset to labcorp. They should give her high honor and give her an award. read more

I went here for the first time on a Thursday morning. They open at 7am but I got there at 6:50am and there was one other person. Appointments aren't required so I recommend coming right before they open. They processed my paperwork and drew my blood in about 15 minutes. The place was clean and there was ample street parking and a private lot. I'm definitely coming here in the future. read more

My mom had to repeat her information three times before the employee was able to retrieve her file. My guess is that the gum she was chewing like a cow prevented her from thinking. I had to raise my voice before they serviced us after 50 minutes of waiting (even though we had an appointment). I am wondering if the management reads these reviews. Miguel was sitting in the front desk when i walked in. He had one of the headphones in his ears. No greeting, no smile, nothing. He called me up after I signed in and asked for the doctor's order. After i mention that it was faxed in the day before, he slowly gets up to check the cabinet and look at the fax machine, and tells me he doesnt have it and that i should call my doc's office. I called the doc's office and have them fax it again, he gives me attitude and says he still has nothing. He says, "look at that fax machine, there's nothing". I was so shocked by how rude and unprofessional he was. His coworker comes and i ask her to please check again, the doc office told me they electronically sent the order and faxed it a couple of times. She checked the cabinet and it was there. if he didnt have the headphones in his ears, maybe he could actually focus on his job. I've never had to deal with such unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful staff. unbelievable. I made sure the order was sent in, i made an appointment, and still they cant get it together. on top of all that, you have to deal with rude and disrespectful and unprofessional staff? better off going somewhere else. Came to this Lap Corp location a week back because it was so close to my job and I scheduled an appointment an hour before going into work . I'm so glad I did just because right when I walked in I got helped and called to the back no later then two minutes . I forgot the kind older lady's name who helped me in the front but she was very helpful and fun to talk to . The lady in the back who took my blood was Vicky , very nice , painless , and fast . I told her other locations had a hard time finding my vein and had to poke me a few times but right after she wrapped that blue rubber band around my arm she got the needle in and made it look so easy . I even asked for a butterfly needle and they were out of them , I was hesitant to use the bigger needle but it felt like nothing was there . I was in and out with in 25 minutes and even had time to pick up a Starbucks on my way to work lol . If you want easy and fast I say ask for Vicky ! Thanks a lot LabCorp :) . read more

Just got a bill in the mail from them yesterday as I came back from work. They always charge me more than what I'm supposed to pay. In other words, they do a stupid job of charging me another $8 for IGP, Aptima HPV. I paid for this service using co-pay at my OBGYN. I tried going to another labcorp lab and it was a nightmare. This place was a whole different vibe. Huge free parking lot. The office is small, and even though i went around lunch time there was only one person there. I read the yelp reviews and tried to get Juliette to draw my blood, but she was at lunch. Another lady with really long hair helped me. I forgot her name, but she was gentle and very nice. I was in and out within 15 minutes. If getting your blood taken scares the crap out of you try this location they made it an easy experience. read more

Didn't have to fill out a single form, just gave them my license, insurance card and credit card, I arrived at 11:45 and was all done and out the door by 11:55! made an appointment online (highly recommended!) and came 5 minutes prior to my appointment time. the waiting room was packed. there wasn't a single seat available. i figured i was going to have to wait a while. i was pleasantly surprised that they took me right on time. the receptionist and the lady that drew my blood asked if i had an appointment and then took me immediately. bathroom was exceptionally clean. they drew my blood in a matter of seconds and i was out ten minutes later. pleasant staff. ample parking, even though the spots were kind of tight. read more

This blood draw location!! I have been here twice in the past year and the lady who drew my blood both times was wonderful, friendly, and I honestly didn't even feel it! This woman must be magic!!! The office is very clean, but I do wish they had a bigger waiting room! It can get quite crowded and all the people smoothed together in that room definitely gave me anxiety (funny I had worse anxiety over the waiting room than the actual blood draw :P). The lady behind the desk is simply awful! Was there a few years ago and she was so rude to me i didn't even want to stay after she yelled at me i left . Well today was no different . I a single mom and took my sick mom in to get blood i needed to get blood too and thought we could trade off because getting in myself is a challenge . My son clearly came and was wonderful drinking his bottle and watching his show , we were there for a long time because she refused to pull up and look up the info she requested we find for her . Well my son and i were playing while waiting and he laughed he has a adorable laugh one ONE LAUGH. 3 seconds and she came out from wherever she was because she wasn't seen for 10 min at the desk and said to me go outside when i said excuse me she repeated please go wait outside your baby is crying i said he laughed for 3 seconds and bothered no one its raining are you kidding!!!!! No one was bothered and everyone looked at her like you have to be kidding then she stared me down enough to make us both go wait outside in the cold and rain again till my mom finished and we left again without my blood drawn . I will never go back and I would drive 100 miles to go anywhere else is ever have to deal with this lady ever again read more

I am a 65 yrs old lady that by now, I do know about my small fine blood veins and I need to drink plenty of water before my blood drawn. I informed the nurse that my blood vein is small so she needs to use a small needle and she snapped at me that let her be the one who will decide. She poke me on my left arm and moved the needle around inside my left arm and said that my vein moved and accused me for being nervous and that is why my vein moved. She pulled out the needle and gave me a big bruise and put the bandage. Then she poke on my right arm and said she had to poke it deeper and luckily she was able to draw a couple tube of blood. Both of my arm are still in pain after more than 5 hours. If you have a small vein, please go to the bigger labcorp such as in Pasadena with more nurses there and ask for a supervisor so you can tell them for not poking you twice. I needed this blood test for my next week CT Scan with contrast and will definitely not coming back here. read more

I've been to this LabCorp several times. I've never had a bad experience. They are always so nice and friendly. The longest I've waited is 10 minutes. If you go early in the morning it is usually very quick! I recently had this older aged women who drew my blood. She was so nice and friendly.
