I'm so grateful we found such a compassionate business. They were able to take Chloe the same day we contacted them, while also giving us the time we needed to grieve and move forward at our own pace. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants their furry friend to be in caring hands. Because of them, we were able to reunite Chloe with her sister, who missed her just as much as we did. It means so much to have her back home where she belongs. Thank you, Gentle Journey, for making this possible.

I came across this place and they answered my call right away with so much kindness and empathy during such a difficult moment. I truly appreciated how compassionate and understanding they were throughout the entire process. Within just an hour or two, they were able to come pick up my boy, and they kept me updated every step of the way so I never felt left wondering what was happening. They communicated clearly, let me know when everything was ready, and made an incredibly painful experience feel a little less heavy. I also chose a package that included his fur clipping, a paw print, and a beautiful box for his ashes with his photo placed on the front. Receiving those keepsakes meant so much to me and made everything feel a little more personal and comforting during such a heartbreaking time. I'm truly grateful for the care, respect, and compassion they showed both me and my cat. Thank you again for helping me through one of the hardest moments of my life.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about and the care they gave our beloved dog, Sir Perceval…read more Fifteen years ago, we used this company when it was still Guardian Animal Aftercare for our two rescue dogs, and the compassion we experienced then stayed with us all these years. When Sir Perceval passed away, I immediately remembered them and reached out again. From the first phone call to bringing him home, every single step was handled with kindness, professionalism, warmth, and genuine compassion. Our aftercare specialist, Laura, at the Sun Valley location, stayed with us through the entire process and treated both us and our beloved pup with such dignity and care. The visitation experience was absolutely transformative for our grieving hearts. When we entered the room, Sir Perceval was resting peacefully on a soft bed, covered with a plush blanket, he looked like he was sleeping soundly, covered in a cozy blanket with flowers carefully arranged around him. The room was softly lit, peaceful music played in the background, and there were comfortable sofas where we could sit with him as long as we needed. We cried, hugged him, and said goodbye in a space that felt safe, loving, and deeply respectful. The thoughtful details meant everything to us -- when picking up his cremains, as emotional as it was, we appreciated the elegant, color coordinated packaging, the velvet bag his urn was wrapped in, the lovely engraving, his precious paw print. The service provided was exceptional in every way. In one of the most painful moments of our lives, West Coast Pet Memorial gave us peace and a final memory of our beloved dog that we will cherish forever. We are endlessly grateful.

This review is limited to the ashes and keepsakes I got from them for my late cat. Last week I lost my cat of 12 years, Oliver, to cancer. He passed away fairly suddenly when I took him to Animal Speciality Group (VCA) in Glendale because he had been throwing up non-stop and seemed to be in pain. Turns out his tumor had been bleeding internally and he was severely anemic and the cancer had apparently spread aggressively across large portions of his body, so I made the difficult but necessary decision to let him cross the rainbow bridge. At ASG/VCA, I purchased a cremation and keepsakes package, which I would later learn was being handled by West Coast. I just got the urn and keepsakes today in the mail and I really could not be any happier (other than if I could get my little buddy back). The wooden urn I chose was just beautiful, but I am especially blown away by the small vial with his hair inside of it; West Coast made a point to display his black and white fur in a beautiful pattern so I can always remember my tuxedo boy. I also did not ask or even pay extra for a paw print but I was so emotional and glad to find that West Coast had prepared one for me anyway. I really appreciate the work they did here to memorialize my boy. Thank you, West Coast, for your thoughtful work. Pictures include how I've set up the urn and vial of hair on my little altar for Oliver.

I…read morewanted to give her a proper send off to heaven and I wanted my Cutie to know she will always be remembered and thought of not just by her mommy but to the world as a precious little soul that inhabited this earth. Ariel was God sent to me. The way Ariel memorialized my little sassy girl Cutie was more than I could ever imagined! Ariel engraved all four of her paw prints in a heart shaped terracotta stone along with her tail which gave it that extra special unique touch. The ability to feel her feet and hands by tracing my fingers along each anatomical groove brings a smile to my face. Cutie would often times take her front paw and wrap it around my finger and now I can replicate that feeling over and over thanks to you Ariel. Ariel inked my Cutie's paws, nose and whiskers too! When I saw the prints it brought me back to when I use to touch her nose and she would look at me and I could just feel her smiling at me with her eyes. Ariel made me a special ink design with Cutie's tail curved forming a half heart with her back paw in the middle. I don't have tattoos but if I were to ever get one this would be perfect! Ariel created so many personal touches for Cutie's send off to heaven that she had me crying tears of joy. I'm confident in saying my little sassy girl Cutie knew she was so loved not only here on earth but in heaven. Cutie is looking down from heaven and is saying thank you Mommy for being there for me-I love you! and I love you too!! Thank you Ariel for your artistic abilities and most importantly for the compassion you have for animals. I'm so grateful for what you've done and I value you! -Marisol V.

The Experience is much more similar to a 5 hour plane ride on a budget airline than visiting the spa. For a lot of people, paying $60 to have a labcorp rep come to your house and take blood is worth it. For the rest of us, this is the life hack: -take a something to distract you like a book, iPad, or headphones. Also a jacket (plane ride) -Expect delays. Remember this is like a budget airline. -wait time is based off of how many people are ahead of you in line. Most people check in and get frustrated when they're told there's a 4 hour wait, so they leave. This means those who stay are seen in 1 hour, since 6 out of 8 people left. So just be patient. Plane will land eventually. -it used to be advised to come when they open. But now, so many people come when they open that if you come when they open you will have to wait 2 hours. If you come in around 8:30 or 9 am, you have a one hour wait time. -best course of action is to make an appointment ahead of time. You can also check other labcorp locations to find a time that works for you. Second best is to check-in online before you arrive. But don't push it by signing in and showing up hours later bc if they call you are you are not there, they will skip you and you lose your turn. (Like missing your flight)
