August 10th is a day I will forever remember due to the pain it caused. I lost my 16 year old Lola and I was left devastated and clueless in how to proceed. I knew I wanted to give her a proper send off but didn't know with who or where. I came across Paw Cremations online and through Yelp. I had a good feeling about the company and decided to reach out to them. I spoke with Scott who informed me of the process and asked a couple of questions regarding my Lola. He informed me of the total cost and ETA and sure enough he was here within the time frame. He was able to comfort me during a difficult time, once again he walked me through the process of how pet cremations are and made sure my questions were answered. He gave me an estimated return date (2 weeks) for the ashes and then they were on their way. Update: The ashes were retuned a week after they took Lola, she was returned back home and I am so happy with the results. The engraved urn and paw print were so beautiful. Thank you guys again for all your dedication!

We are extremely disappointed with our experience and do not recommend this business. When David arrived, he appeared kind and empathetic at first. However, he did not explain what he was about to do. Without any warning or discussion, he opened a cloth bag and a black plastic bag directly in front of us and placed our beloved dog inside. We were in deep shock and grief, and witnessing that was incredibly traumatic for our two daughters, my husband, and me. Basic communication and sensitivity were completely lacking in that moment. He told us the cremation would take 2-3 weeks and that he would personally hand-deliver our dog's cremated remains. 2 weeks later, he sent a text saying he was in the area and asking if anyone was home. My husband did not see the message for a couple of hours. When he responded, David said he had already stopped by and left our dog's cremated remains in our mailbox. Leaving cremated remains in a mailbox without confirmed contact or permission is absolutely unacceptable. This is not a package -- it is a beloved family member. A phone call and scheduled delivery should have been the bare minimum. Losing a pet is devastating. Families trust cremation services to handle their loved ones with dignity, respect, and clear communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

My angel

David came to my home and picked up my Ozzy, he was compassionate, kind, patient and caring. He assured me that I had nothing to worry about that I would get my boy back. As a concerned fur baby mom, I had many questions, and he totally understood my concerns. and put me at ease Thank you, David!

Losing a pet is one of the most heart breaking and devastating thing any pet owner can experience. David is very compassionate and understands. He was very helpful through the process and now our baby is here in spirit forever. Thank you for your help and services.

My husband and I are satisfied with the service of this decent man, David! From the first word on the phone, it was clear that the man knows what he is doing and is responsible for it. David himself picked up our cat Vova and brought it back faster than the stated deadline, sympathizing and supporting us in our loss..... We lost our cat, but we got back the memory of him thanks to this wonderful man and his service!

David made a paw print of our sweet Sadie Mae

David at Paw Cremations was a gem throughout the process of grieving for our little Sweet Sadie Mae. David took great care in preparation and the return of our little girl. I would highly highly recommend you get in touch with David at Paw Cremations and talk to him in your time of need.

Hi Jeanette, Sunnie and the Peaceful Pets Family-…read more I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you did for our family today. Saying goodbye to Ace was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do, and you and Sunnie made it as peaceful and loving as it could possibly be. The way you cared for him--and for all of us--meant more than I can put into words. You took the time to talk with us and our kids. You explained everything in a way that made sense and bought calm. You made our children feel safe and supported no matter what they were feeling. That meant everything to us. You gave us space and time to say goodbye to our good boy in a way that was meaningful and kind. And the little touches... the blanket under his head, the pets and love you gave, the fur you kept and boxed for our children, the invitation for our kids to write a letter that will be with him forever, the calm and warmth you created--it didn't feel clinical, it felt like family. You gave us a moment we'll always be grateful for in the middle of so much heartbreak. Thank you for the love, compassion, and dignity you gave Ace and our whole family today. We will never forget it.

They were incredibly kind, respectful, and compassionate, making sure Kaid was as comfortable as possible the entire time. They surrounded him with the love he deserved and gave us so much support and comfort too. They thought of everything. When his paws got muddy, they had wet wipes ready. They brought treats and even a blanket to gently rest his head. We also had our other dog there, and they didn't overlook him either. They gave him love and attention so we could focus on saying our final goodbyes. After Kaid passed, they continued to treat him with such gentleness and care. I know I'll replay those final moments in my mind over and over, but I feel at peace knowing how deeply loved and comforted he was. I am so incredibly grateful to Peaceful Pet Services for giving our boy such a loving and peaceful send-off. I truly can't recommend them enough during one of the hardest moments a pet owner can face.

Ariel was God sent to me. The way Ariel memorialized my little sassy girl Cutie was more than I could ever imagined! Ariel engraved all four of her paw prints in a heart shaped terracotta stone along with her tail which gave it that extra special unique touch. The ability to feel her feet and hands by tracing my fingers along each anatomical groove brings a smile to my face. Cutie would often times take her front paw and wrap it around my finger and now I can replicate that feeling over and over thanks to you Ariel. Ariel inked my Cutie's paws, nose and whiskers too! When I saw the prints it brought me back to when I use to touch her nose and she would look at me and I could just feel her smiling at me with her eyes. Ariel made me a special ink design with Cutie's tail curved forming a half heart with her back paw in the middle. I don't have tattoos but if I were to ever get one this would be perfect! Ariel created so many personal touches for Cutie's send off to heaven that she had me crying tears of joy. I'm confident in saying my little sassy girl Cutie knew she was so loved not only here on earth but in heaven. Cutie is looking down from heaven and is saying thank you Mommy for being there for me-I love you! and I love you too!! When Sir Perceval passed away, I immediately remembered them and reached out again. From the first phone call to bringing him home, every single step was handled with kindness, professionalism, warmth, and genuine compassion. Our aftercare specialist, Laura, at the Sun Valley location, stayed with us through the entire process and treated both us and our beloved pup with such dignity and care. The visitation experience was absolutely transformative for our grieving hearts. When we entered the room, Sir Perceval was resting peacefully on a soft bed, covered with a plush blanket, he looked like he was sleeping soundly, covered in a cozy blanket with flowers carefully arranged around him. The room was softly lit, peaceful music played in the background, and there were comfortable sofas where we could sit with him as long as we needed. We cried, hugged him, and said goodbye in a space that felt safe, loving, and deeply respectful. The thoughtful details meant everything to us -- when picking up his cremains, as emotional as it was, we appreciated the elegant, color coordinated packaging, the velvet bag his urn was wrapped in, the lovely engraving, his precious paw print. The service provided was exceptional in every way. In one of the most painful moments of our lives, West Coast Pet Memorial gave us peace and a final memory of our beloved dog that we will cherish forever. We are endlessly grateful.

This review is limited to the ashes and keepsakes I got from them for my late cat. Last week I lost my cat of 12 years, Oliver, to cancer. He passed away fairly suddenly when I took him to Animal Speciality Group (VCA) in Glendale because he had been throwing up non-stop and seemed to be in pain. Turns out his tumor had been bleeding internally and he was severely anemic and the cancer had apparently spread aggressively across large portions of his body, so I made the difficult but necessary decision to let him cross the rainbow bridge. At ASG/VCA, I purchased a cremation and keepsakes package, which I would later learn was being handled by West Coast. I just got the urn and keepsakes today in the mail and I really could not be any happier (other than if I could get my little buddy back). The wooden urn I chose was just beautiful, but I am especially blown away by the small vial with his hair inside of it; West Coast made a point to display his black and white fur in a beautiful pattern so I can always remember my tuxedo boy. I also did not ask or even pay extra for a paw print but I was so emotional and glad to find that West Coast had prepared one for me anyway. I really appreciate the work they did here to memorialize my boy. Thank you, West Coast, for your thoughtful work. Pictures include how I've set up the urn and vial of hair on my little altar for Oliver.

This is not my first review of our beloved Dr G, and I just recommended her to 6 more people again just these past 2 weeks. I always say to people I give her card to: "you will discover she is an Earth Angel - if she moved to a different town, I'd take my pup there... When you find a great vet, they are Gold! She's not only compassionate, present and knowledgeable, but also she does not oversell." Besides all the regular check ups, Dr G. has performed 2 substantial surgeries on my pup in the last 8 years, and has been extremely kind, providing valuable reassuring step-by-step updates throughout, especially aware that I had lost my beloved first dog, (with a different vet), when he did not make it through the anesthesia... In the 8 years Dr G. has been our one and only vet; everyone I have sent to Dr G. has fallen in love with her, and has thanked me for the referral. I trusted Dr G and her small compassionate team with the euthanasia of my precious second dog, Handsome. She is truly an Angel on Earth. At her Chatsworth location, I love that she's created a lovingly cozy "home environment" for the euthanasia experience. That it so needed during that deeply emotional time, and more veterinary offices ought to follow her example. I found her many years ago when I was dissatisfied with a busy veterinary front desk in Sherman Oaks, after they had made errors in my first dog's chart. Unfortunately he passed, and I learned that finding the RIGHT professional truly makes ALL the difference. So yes, I drive from Sherman Oaks. Gratefully so :) I am thankful that my cherished pups are her patients. Her ethics, her care, her kindness, her knowledge, her integrity - she's our number 1!!!

She was available the same day and brought in a caring team afterward to respectfully and compassionately assist with our 132-pound dog. We are deeply grateful and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a veterinary team that truly cares.
