Missing the love of my life!
    Jackie B.

When the love of my life, Dinky, passed on Jan 19th, I knew I would find some comfort in Scott's cremation service as I had witnessed his genuine care and support after the passing of my roommate's dog. As the time came for Dink to be carried away by this angel from animal Heaven, Scott, I was at peace knowing that Dink would be safe in his loving hands. Scott goes above and beyond with his services from beginning to end and with the return of ashes. Even though I was already aware I was getting a clipping of Dinky's fur, when I received it, I immediately burst into tears because the clipping contained some of Dinky's white fur from his chest. My Dinky was all black except for this specific area where a patch of white fur formed a small cross on his chest. Scott must have carefully selected this spot knowing I would remember this special patch of white fur. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Thank you Scott for this beautiful gift![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

When my furry girl left us permanently we were all sorely hurt and our hearts were deeply broken; however, there simply are no words to describe how grateful we were the moment Scott, an angel in human disguise, carried my furry girl away, we knew Koffie would be well respected and carefully taken care of. Scott's service was exceptionally outstanding; I would have given 10 gold stars if I could.

Professional caring service from start to finish!! Because I knew my dog Jack was 16 and not getting any younger, I had emailed Scott to inquire about services. He promptly responded and explained the service he offered and how to contact him when services needed. 6 months later, the time came and Scott is a true professional. He explained how it would be handled, arrange the times bc and promptly. He texted me before arriving anc also when he was here. He collected Jack with minimal paperwork. Kept me informed of when Jack's remains would be returned, Scott has empathy, sincerity, and professionalism that made it such a pleasure to work with him and to know Jack was in good hands. If you see the pictures, Jack came back in a beautiful box with name plate. Careful consideration, time and love was placed into all the little things he included and how the packaging is put together. Those little unnecessary steps but that make you appreciate it more. Personalized stickers on everything, tape with pull tabs, stand for pawprint, rainbow bridge poem, wildflower seeds, urn in tissue and matching shredded purple packaging to hold everything in place. I highly recommend him and have already shared about his services with my sisters (who all have pets) because I'm very impressed.

I can't stress it enough Scott is compassionate and he did the whole process easy, When my heart was broken he took care of everything, came to pick up my cats body and treated him with lots of respect. He kept me updated thru out the whole process. I appreciate him very much. Now a piece of me (cat Eclipse) will remain close to me and my family. Thank You Scott !!!

Amazing communication to begin with and Amazing service to end with. We were going to use the same company that we used before but they actually increased the price quite a bit after just one year. Having to shop around more for a better price, we came upon Garden's Edge. We were actually worried about it being cheaper means not as good overall, but we were just so wrong. Scott took care of us really well. Very grateful, very thankful for the respect he has shown us and to our cat. You get a beautifully packaged box with your pet's paw print, partial of your pet's fur, and a pinch of plant seeds to grow on top if you decided to have a burial at home. Thoughtful. Highly recommended.

Scott was so compassionate and kind during a really dark and difficult situation. Our precious Mila was diagnosed with mammary cancer and we immediately scheduled with a vet and with Scott for aftercare. We learned that our baby could have a few more good weeks so Scott was understanding and kind when I asked if I could reschedule when the time came. The time came a couple of weeks later quite abruptly and Scott messaged back in the morning and was able to pick up our sweet girl that day. He treated us all with the utmost respect and compassion. I was blown away. I will recommend his company to every pet parent when they are looking for options. The pricing is quite similar to other aftercare services and I know that Scott will go above and beyond. The packaging of the remains was beautiful and really special. You can tell that a lot of thought and care was put into it. Thank you so much, Scott. You made this very sad experience a little easier.

He explained everything clearly, treated Ñoño with dignity, followed up professionally, and most importantly, showed real compassion. He also worked with me on the price when I was in a very difficult spot, and that generosity meant more than I can put into words. What stood out to me most was that he did not make me feel rushed or like just another transaction. He understood that this was family, not "just a pet," and he treated the moment with the seriousness and care it deserved. Losing a pet is brutal, and when you are trusting someone with someone you love, kindness matters. In my experience, Romo gave exactly that. Both my wife and I were crushed at the loss of our Great Pyrenees dog that prematurely suffered from cancer and when it was time to make the call I must say that the experience was absolutely appropriate and private. At some points it was as if he was not even in the room turning away to allow my wife and I to have complete privacy in the middle of this to say goodbye. He shared very few words only to relieve our anxiety and concerns about our animal's initial reaction or what to expect from the euthanasia. This in itself was so appropriate and created an environment where we were not being consumed by the "unknown" with regards to this process. She helped us walk our precious Stella over the Rainbow bridge in the beauty of silence, reverence, and peace, it was so beautiful. Dr. Erica sent us the most amazing sympathy card a few days later that touched my heart deeply. Honor Pet has not only been there throughout this difficult journey, but their kindness, compassion, professionalism and guidance have meant more to me and my family than they can ever know. Today, Stella is back home at her final resting place, where she belongs...they sent her home to us in this incredible Honor box which carried her remains, a mini glass bottle of her fur, a candle to burn if/when I need to feel her presence, a digital print of her beautiful little "chocolate chip nose" we all loved and adored, a package of Forget-Me-Not seeds to plant in her honor, and a letter conveying their deepest sympathy for our great loss. A bit disappointed with this place. The idea of having your pet/family member euthanized at home is…read moregreat, but the execution needs improvement. In a nutshell 1. Tardiness should be communicated so the family can prepare when to be emotionally ready 2. Details of the service should be discussed and finalized BEFORE the day of the euthanization, not on the day of. 3. After euthanization, the vet should leave the room for the family to say their last goodbyes alone. It was finally time to have my gma's dog daughter euthanized due to lung cancer. My gma made an appointment for a Sunday at 3pm. The family gathered at 2pm to spend her final moments with her. On our way to her place, she called to let us know the doctor will be late and will be there at 3:30pm, which is fine. We get to spend more time with Lexa. As 3:30pm gets closer, everyone is realizing the time is coming. 3:40pm comes and the vet has not arrived yet. 3:50pm comes around and we decided to call. After all, she did call to mention that she was going to be late. Maybe she couldn't find the house. We called Hearts and Halo but was greeted with an answering machine. I left a message and asked what the vet's eta was. The vet, MJ, finally arrives at around 4pm with her assistant. She needs to understand, which I am surprised that she didn't, that when you are saying goodbye to your beloved family member, emotions are high and playing the waiting game bring anxiety because now you don't know the timing of things and you can't be emotionally prepared. Anyway, MJ comes in and starts presenting our options on method of euthanization, any options/mementos we would like (paw print, returned ashes, etc.) Honestly, I am surprised all this was not covered during the appointment call. As mentioned before, emotions are high and making these types of decisions shouldn't be made the day of. After about 15 minutes of this, it was finally time so we put Lexa on her bed and MJ injected a relaxing agent between her shoulder blades. She said it was similar to morphine. After about 10 minutes, she fell asleep. At this time, it just so happens that Hearts and Halo calls me. Perfect timing. I won't hold this against them since what are they supposed to do? But the timing was impeccable. After not picking up the call, they texted my phone. Maybe they should've just done that first. After this, she shaved part of her paw and injected the final injection and Lexa passed within a minute. We were able to say our last goodbyes to Lexa with no time restriction. However, a word of advice to Hearts and Halos, that this would be a great time to leave the room and let us have our own personal time with Lexa alone. MJ stayed with us the whole time. I know we could've mentioned this to her, but during such an emotional time, I think it is better if she just left the room on her own. When we were done, MJ and her assistant picked up Lexa gently with a fabric carrier. Lexa didn't come until 2.5 weeks later. Our grandma chose to pick her up instead of having her shipped back home. Hearts and Halos promised us she would be back in two weeks, so take that for what it's worth. Overall, it was a comfortable experience. Kinks need to be worked out, especially for such an emotional event.
