I used Mobile Pet Cremations for my 80 pound dog. I think their pricing was comparable to other places I've used in the past. Obviously after my pet passed in my home, I wanted to have her taken care of rather quickly as opposed to having a deceased loved one/animal in the house around the small children. MPC responded almost immediately via text. They were straightforward and clear about the process. Someone came to my house within a couple of hours someone was at my house who put my dog in a white body bag and took her away. He handled her with care. 1 week later the urn was hand-delivered to my house as described. I would use them again. read more

AVOID! My cat's last minutes were painful, bloody, and undignified. I've used in-home euthanasia for every pet I've lost in the past 12 years. Every previous time it was gentle, patient, and painless. This was cold, rushed, and impersonal from the first phone call -- answered like a pizza order: "what can I help ya with?" right to the horrifying end. I called this company. They scheduled the appointment, they sent the provider, and I paid them. Before they arrived: the same forms filled out two or three times because of their error and my house number written wrong three separate times. After this, they still showed up at the wrong house, texting me a demand to "unlock your door". No apology for any of it. This is not the day you should be wasting on web forms or a company that can't even find your house. Then the horror show of the appointment. Every other vet I've had do this inserted the needle and catheter gently. This one jammed it in -- repeatedly, in his back leg, far more times than I could bring myself to keep counting while I sat, stunned beyond words -- before finally moving to the front leg where she jammed again. I watched his whole body WINCE in pain. When I said he's in pain, she told me with zero compassion "that's normal." That has never happened at any euthanasia I've been through. When she shaved him she drew BLOOD and cut off a one-inch chunk of his skin, leaving an open gaping wound on my baby in what was supposed to be a "peaceful, painless" experience in his last moments with me. After the final injection, she pushed his body at me without securing the waterproof covering, and his urine and feces ran down my leg. Bodily fluids after death are normal. On the grieving owner, they are not. She wrapped him loosely in my own (by then dirty) towel and put him into the bed of a pickup truck under a flat cover -- no basket, no carrier. She had told me he would be placed on a stretcher; I saw none used. It was 115 degrees. Then she got into the air-conditioned cab and drove away. Almost $1,300 for this, including a private cremation that I now have absolutely no confidence in. My beloved pet deserved respect in his last minutes. He didn't get any. Dying on an ER table would have had more grace and compassion than this had. If you have any other option, take it. read more

We recently had to say goodbye to our Labrador, and it's still incredibly hard to put into words even weeks later. The pain is very real. The vet who came to our home was compassionate and patient, giving us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. She walked us through each step with care and understanding, which made an unbearable moment just a little more manageable. Having our other lab there also meant a lot--it truly seemed to help her process the loss too. My baby passed away last month. This was my first experience with a pet's death. I noticed she passed around 5 in the morning. Overwhelmed with grief i went to thru so many emotions. I didn't know how to feel or act. I looked up online to get some guidance on what to do next. Everywhere wasn't open yet so I just cried to myself more while sitting beside my furr baby. Then I found mobile pet cremation. Honestly it was the first business that was going to open soon so I just called to see if they could give me information on how to proceed with. I was so happy that they were the first people I called. One of the best decisions I've made. I could barely speak but the representative was soo helpful, understanding and patient with me. Financially I was struggling also. That made me break down more because I didn't have enough on any of my credit cards. I was so stressed and angry with myself. The representative heard my frustration and calmly offered available options to me... Payment plans...etc. she even texted me options for an urn for my fur baby. I also love that they communicate with me by text also because I just couldn't get the words out of my mouth. To confirm my address and set up a good time for them to come and pick up my baby. They came in a little over 2 hours. Which felt pretty fast because I was just sitting with my baby and wanted to be with her alitte longer. A nice gentleman came, super polite. Handle my baby with such care. And give me the details on the process with such a calm understanding tone that i should expect her ashes back in a week or 2. (I don't really remember) while I just nodded and choke back my tears. They are so sweet and professional and caring. I'm glad I called them. read more

This was my first experience losing a pet, something you never truly expect, even though it's a part of life. I honestly didn't know what the process would be or what to do. I just knew I wanted to keep something to remember my beloved Shadow by. After doing some research, this organization was the first one I came across, and I'm so grateful I chose them. Their customer service was compassionate, professional, and incredibly caring during one of the hardest moments for my family. The day Shadow passed away, they were able to pick him up the very same day. I was surprised because I expected the process to take much longer. They treated him with such dignity and respect during pickup, and they showed that same level of care when they returned his ashes to me. I can't thank them enough for making such a difficult time a little easier. I would absolutely recommend them 100%. Mobile Pet Cremations was so amazing. The day we decided it was time for our precious cat Wynston to leave us and enter a realm of no more suffering, we called on them to transition him at home. Dr. Shannon was so kind and compassionate during the process. She explained everything to us so we could know what to expect and she provided us with the comfort of knowing that we were making the right decision to have him transition at home and not a vet clinic. Dr. Shannon and other vets like her are angels and we are forever thankful for the service she provided and for all that Mobile Pet Cremations do to help pet parents and families say goodbye to their fur babies. We received Wynston's ashes today which has been so emotional yet the way in which they cared for Wynston's departed body and returned him back to us in such a caring and compassionate manner, means the world to us. We had a wonderful experience with Mobile Pet. The woman who answered the phone was very kind when we called after our furry family member passed away at home. She was patient with all our questions and didn't make us feel rushed as we discussed a few options as a family before giving her our answers. A young man arrived in about an hour to pick up our pet. He too was calm and professional. We received a text message sooner than we had been quoted that our pet's ashes were ready and would be delivered the next day. While we didn't receive a text that they were on their way (rather early in the morning), it did end up working out just fine. The urn options are very good and we appreciated having a few choices to pick from. Our little guy arrived home in a beautiful carved wooden box, with a footprint "ornament" and a stand to put it on. Mobile Pet did an excellent job and was exactly who we needed. read more

After several visits to the vet, multiple medications, and lumpectomy surgeries in a losing battle with cancer, our family made the difficult decision to not let our fur baby suffer any longer. I researched our options online and found Mobile Pet Cremations. I never imagined in-home euthanasia was ever an option but was grateful to find out it was because the thought of loading Sitting Bull up into our vehicle in his condition and letting him go in a veterinary office was unimaginably heartbreaking. I reached out to MPC and Blake provided prompt and compassionate answers to my inquiries. From our initial contact on September 8th, he had offered a same day appointment, but we were able to schedule an in-home euthanasia for September 17th (at my request) in order to spend a few more days making memories and saying our goodbyes. When Sitting Bull's condition worsened drastically on the night of September 10th, I messaged MPC notifying them of our need to move the date up. Blake responded in the early morning hours and he was able to facilitate a same day appointment later that day on September 11th. Dr. Writt and Hayden arrived at our home that afternoon. They explained everything to us and did a medical assessment of Sitting Bull. They were gentle with him and kindly gave us time to give him kisses, Hershey's kisses and ice cream as the time drew near. We weren't rushed. We were able to tell him how much we loved him through endless tears as he slipped away in our arms in the comfort of our home. Dr. Writt and Hayden asked if we wanted a little bit of his fur and they used hair clippers to gently take a little bit of both colors (black and white) from the top of his head and placed it in a small glass jar for us. A few minutes later they carefully picked him up and took him with them giving us their condolences as they left. On September 19th, MPC reached out to confirm that his cremains would be delivered on the 21st. I appreciated that they wanted to make sure someone would be home to receive him. On September 21st, they provided a text reminder in the morning with tracking information and ETA updates. We were hand delivered a carefully packed bag. Inside were his cremains in a beautiful cedar chest with a lock and 2 keys, a paw print and stand, and his cremation certificate. A few days later, we also received a card of condolences, with an ink paw print of Sitting Bull included, from Dr. Writt's office. I will be forever grateful to Mobile Pet Cremations, Blake, Dr. Writt, and Hayden for making Sitting Bull's passing a peaceful and dignified transition. Although we are heartbroken we couldn't have imagined a better way. read more

From start to finish, I give mobile pet cremations a 10/10. I felt so supported from the phone call already. They provided me with different time slots for each day the doctor is available. I had such a difficult time on the phone with Hearts and Halos the other pet cremation mobile company. They told me because my dog is 130 lbs they can only euthanize him at home and cremate him.... they told us WE had to transport him to Huntington Beach from Los Angeles.... When I asked if they knew of any other services that we can call that would assist with the transportation they simply said no... this was so disheartening. I know there are larger dogs who need this kind of services as well. But when I called Mobile pet cremation, they were so kind in offering their services, they gave me the time I needed to decide with scheduling. They told me the weight of our 130 lbs dog was not an issue. The doctor was so professional when they came to our house, gave us all the time we needed. He walked us through the process. I really appreciated this! Even till the day I received Dukes ashes, I can't stress enough how sweet they are to drop it off directly to your house. This definitely lessens the stress of having to drive to pick up. Thank you so so much from the bottom of our hearts read more

I want to first off say that my dog's passing wasn't a normal one. Long story short they had to pick his body up at animal control. We all had to arrange when he could be picked up and the communication with them was spot on. The situation was horrible but they made me feel like they cared and wanted to pick him up as soon as he was put down. They then had to do a second pick up days later to grab the rest of his remains. (They had to test him for rabies so ya...). When we got the remains back, they hand deliver it to you which is very special. I have had a friend that had the worst experience with getting the remains through the postal service. Given the trauma that our family went through, I couldn't have been happier with their service. Thank you for treating our boy with the best care and we will always cherish him thanks to you. The paw print was very special as well. read more
