Even though this has been a difficult and emotional time for our family losing our pet unexpectedly, this company was so welcoming, sincere, and wonderful when they hand delivered the ashes of our beloved dog, Bourbon, back to our home. What a gorgeous presentation brought by a wonderful young lady named Danielle. She was so caring and personable when she came to our home and made me feel at peace. Thank you

Shout out to Brian and Davis!! I was so concerned about getting my dog so I called. Brian was so nice and helped me right away and eased my concerns. Davis called me and told me he would be hand delivering my dog soon. When he got to me he was so kind and gentle which made me so happy. Thank you!!!

Unfortunately I had to get my pet cremated earlier this year. I took my baby to the Hospital in Garden Grove and they are partnered with Only Cremations for Pets. I was charged about 420 for a private cremation. The process was fast and easy. I 100% recommend coming here. They even made a paw print stamp of my baby. And provided me with a small urn for him.

On 08/22/2024, my beloved Pomeranian Sylvie passed away at VCA West Los Angeles. Needless to say, I was shocked and heartbroken. The following week, I got a text from Only Cremations regarding the cremation arrangements. The process of choosing an urn and additional services (I selected an ink nose print and name on paw print impression), was pretty easy. About a week later, I was notified that everything was ready for pick-up. They were kind enough to arrange for a Saturday pick-up with the vet office across the street. The urn, paw impression, and overall presentation exceeded my expectations. I loved my dog so much, and I wanted to make sure that she was memorialized in a way that does her justice. Only Cremations for Pets did a great job with packaging everything with care. I cried as I drove home, with my girl back in the car with me, since the last time I dropped her off in the emergency hospital. Thank you for helping to preserve her memory.

The left paw print is a dog received by only cremations saying this was my cat. The one on the right is the paw print I took of my cat.

Whatever you do do not use this place! I had my cat of 17 years old Cremated here through VCA When I received his ashes, which was a cat, they tried to tell me that the paw print was his. You can see in the photo attached that the one on the left is a dog the one they provided. The one on the right is the one I did two hours before my cat passed away. You can clearly see there are two different paw prints on top of two different animals. The fact that they kept trying to tell me that this is a cat paw print is completely wrong. They messed up horribly and they can't admit that they're wrong so they're trying to make it seem like this paw print is my cat when you can clearly tell that it is a dog paw print they try to make their customers seem like liars. And they avoid taking responsibility of their mistakes. What's really sad is some people may not even realize that their paw prints are not even their animals because this place has quite a few issues I found out. Also, my vet that I took my cat to has ended their contract with this place due to as many issues is that they have had like this one. I will always remember what this place did. I will always make sure that they never get business. This is a memory that I will never forget. And right after losing my 17-year-old cat this is pretty horrible to have to remember this horrible situation. If I could give them no stars, I totally would, but it does not work that way. Don't use this place call another crematorium !!! Personally, next time I am going to be using the one I used prior all cremations where they were loving they took my feelings for granted and they made sure I was okay but this place no they just wanted to make sure that no one found out that they messed up. All the associates at this place did not take responsibility for messing up on a time sensitive situation. I actually am going to be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and to the vet Association!

This was the service my vet's office used to cremate my pet. When she passed, she deteriorated very quickly, and I didn't get the chance to take her paw print myself. I also didn't realize this was something that would be included. I am so incredibly grateful for this company. Receiving her paw print was a complete surprise, and it meant more to me than I can express. After she passed, it was something I kept thinking about and regretted not doing. Having this keepsake brought me a great deal of comfort, and I truly appreciate the care and thoughtfulness they showed during such a difficult time.

    My sweet angel bby.

My sweet Vaidah crossed the rainbow bridge on the 6th of August and her remains were returned September 3rd. She came back home in a box that was big enough for a German shepherd and I was bothered because my bby was only 6 pounds. The next morning I called and spoke with a gentleman who asked that I send a picture to their email so that he could verify it was indeed the wrong size. He said they would be able to send a replacement (if need be) to the hospital I picked her up at. After sending the email, I called to confirm my picture was received. MELISSA answered the phone this time and was very helpful. She took down my personal address to priority ship a smaller box. I also asked that she double check if my Vaidah was indeed aquamated because the certificate I received said cremation. She reassured me that the certificates were preset but she could make another one for me. Two days later, I received a revised certificate and a smaller box on my porch. I appreciate you Melissa! Thank you for your help and your kindness. Rest in peace Vaidah Anne. We miss your tip toes around the house and you yelling for breakfast. One star gone because we went from a large to a medium. The paw is beautiful and the forget me not seeds are sweet. Thanks again!

Our little baby Bear was cremated here, it hurts my heart that he is no longer here with us. I just want to thank everyone who helped out with our little guy. I received a text saying our little guy should arrive at our house soon, my sister lives 30 mins away from this location. So I asked if I could pick up his sweet little ashes instead, since I'll be in town. They were so sweet and told us we can pick up today before 4pm. I also asked what day/time he was cremated and they were kind enough to tell me. The feeling of picking up his ashes myself gave me a peace of mind and comfort feeling, so my baby knows that I am here for him. So he can follow me back home ! Thank you so much ! To Bear, Mama loves you so much. I miss snuggling with you, I miss having you sleep on my chest every day. Life w/o you hurts the house is quiet. Too quiet ! I will forever be grateful that you are mamas baby, until we meet again ! Don't you worry about mama. I will be ok ! You enjoy life in puppy heaven, go find your daddy's puppy spliffy and have fun ! Thank you for visiting me, I see and I feel your presence around the house everyday. You will forever be missed mama's baby. - Love Mama xoxo FOREVER !

    My sweet boy Shelby.

It feels strange leaving a "great service!" for this type of service, but I suppose it went as well as it could. My boy passed in LA and the vet made the arrangements for OCFP. It took a little over two weeks, but I'm very happy with how perfectly his print turned out. I also called excessively and each time they were patient with me. The only thing I didn't like was having to drive back and see the actual cremation machine, but I suppose there's no way to hide that. I also didn't like how I saw all of the animals stacked on top of one another in shipping boxes, but again, how are they supposed store them once they've passed? For a terrible situation, they did a nice job with my boy.

Losing an animal is the hardest, most devastating experience. Having rescued and seen them all through illness till time to let them transition to Heaven, I have many ashes but nothing as beautifully & thoughtfully presented as my beautiful Shepherd's remains are. His box and paw print with a little packet of ' forget - me- not' seeds make me cry all over again. But in a good way...if that's possible... This company is so ethical. And not overpriced. .

They did an absolutely beautiful job cremating our dog Lola, and gifting us with a beautiful keepsake box. They were extremely caring and sensitive, even arranging a weekend pick up as I was coming from LA. Timely turnaround, affordable pricing, highly recommended if you are looking for a loving memory of your pet.

Kona remains and keepsakes (nose print, paw impression, and vial of fur).
    Matt O.

Our boy Kona passed away back in October 2023. We had been visiting VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital for Kona's treatments until we had to make the impossible decision. Only Cremations was highly attentive. They ensured us about Kona's body being received from the hospital and kept us informed through the process for his remains. We started coordination on a Monday and were able to pick up his remains by the end of the week on a Friday morning. We live very far in Tehachapi, so a trip to Newport Beach would have been an all day event (about 155 miles away/310 miles roundtrip). They were able to arrange with VCA West to have his remains and keepsakes delivered back to the hospital that Friday morning. It saved us hours of an already stressful day. We thank them for their understanding and accommodation to our needs. The entire order of his remains was received gracefully. Everything exceeded our expectations. This helped with our grieving and beginning closure. You can trust them to handle your beloved pets. We deeply thank them from the bottom of our hearts for the care shown to us and our Kona during a very difficult time.

We lost our boy a week ago. He came back to us in a pretty box with the paw print and flower seeds. I can see that Only Cremations cared.

I want to start by saying that the package I ultimately received was very beautiful and I am very happy with the physical products I received from this company. They did well in honoring my best friend and providing me with cherished mementos. The mementos were the main draw for me when I chose Angel Paw/ Loving Pet. My dog Lucky had cancer, and although I was starting to emotionally prepare myself for the end of his life, his death came suddenly. I was alone with him when it happened and I felt panicked and anguished about what would have to come next. I should have stopped and called our vet and asked them to hold his body for me while I figured things out, but instead I immediately started trying to find an aquamation service that had the mementos I knew I would need to grieve and remember Lucky. So I turned to Loving Pet/Angel Paw. Their website looked so clean and modern! I was impressed so I filled out a form and they called me very quickly. A van was dispatched to my home and arrived in 2 hours. The driver who picked up Lucky from me told me the process would take 2 weeks. Loving Pet/ Angel Paw promised cutting edge technology that would keep grieving pet parents in the loop every step of the way of the cremation process. It's proudly proclaimed in their About Us story that the whole point is to keep families away from the nightmare of not knowing. I was stuck in that nightmare of not knowing for a month. If you're stuck waiting, please know you will get your pet, but it will take a month. I was in agony thinking I had chosen wrong, or that I got scammed and I would never get Lucky back ever again. I did get Lucky back and so will you. You unfortunately just need to keep waiting. The app never updated with any of the steps of Lucky's aquamation process. After 2 weeks I started calling and calling and calling. I left messages with my phone number asking for a call back that never came. I had more success with emailing them. I would recommend emailing if calling isn't working. The explanation for the delay was The Weather. Southern California was experiencing torrential unrelenting rain earlier this past spring. Fair enough. 3 Weeks after they picked up Lucky from me, someone responds to my email saying Lucky would be shipped to me. They don't provide me with a tracking number even when I ask. At this point I am having slightly more luck getting them on the phone. A few days after I asked for the tracking number via email, I call and a Lovely man who said his name was Jeff answered. Lucky had not been shipped out yet after all, BUT Jeff does reassure me that Lucky's cremation package was ready to go and would be shipped ASAP. And it was. So shout out to Jeff for that one. I get a text message later that same day with the UPS label. Overall this experience was unpleasant. Complete lack of communication with grieving pet parents. I would not recommend this cremation company to anybody in the future. But if you've already chosen Loving Pet/ Angel Paw, please just wait it out. Your baby will be home soon.

Not many crematoriums are open on Sundays. I called a number in Van Nuys that I found on Yelp, but the man referred me to Furrever Friends. I'm so glad he did. Heather at Furrever Friends was so kind on the phone and in person. She made the entire process very smooth and easy. She discussed everything with me - their strict cremation process, what to expect with the final package, etc. Honestly, I didn't ask; she just told me. I wasn't functioning very well that day. I picked up Franklin today after only a 4-day wait. At the shop, Heather surprised me with Frank's paw and nose prints on wood and paper! What a thoughtful idea! (I'm sure she told me about it on Sunday, but I really wasn't present.) I almost broke down in front of her when I saw his nose. We used to "boop" that thing! Frank himself is resting in a beautiful wooden box. He's coming home now. Heather, thank you so much for the amazing love and care you showed us! I won't forget you.

Last week on the 23rd right before christmas, my dog of 14 years passed away at home. I remembered my bsf used FF and I reached out to get their info. I contacted them immediately and was assisted by Heather. She was very kind and helpful over the phone, gave me all the info about the various packages they offer. They offer 3 different cremations packages (private, witness, and communal). I chose to go with private bc witness was more than double the price of private. However, don't be nervous about going with private bc they have numerous ways to ensure that you will be obtaining your pet's remains back even if you aren't able to witness the full process. The private package included a simple urn (a box), paw/nose impression, and fur clipping. In their viewing room, they have numerous urns to choose from and upgrade from the package. Although it was so close to the holidays, I was able to pick up my baby girl the day after christmas. They were kind enough to gift us with a bamboo impression of her nose and paw as an ornament as well. The whole service and communication was truly great. I had no doubt in trusting Heather and her family with taking care of my pet. You can feel how much they care about animals and their passion in helping families get closure and having a beautiful send off for their pets. I will definitely recommend Furrever Friends to all pet owners when it's time to say goodbyes to our fur babies.

Thankfully the machine was fixed around 3 PM, and our fur baby was still able to receive his first radiation treatment and go home around 4:30 PM. After that, Day 2 and Day 3 went smoothly, and everything went very well. What truly impressed us was Dr. Wakamatsu, herself. Her consultation was incredibly thorough and informative. She explained the CT scan in great detail and made sure we understood everything about our dog's condition and the treatment plan and the treatment options. I truly wouldn't mind to drive 1.5 hours or more to see Dr. Wakamatsu again. She is an amazing radiation oncologist, highly recommended to anyone who needs her help. Your fur baby will be in great hands. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We were referred to Dr. Vinayak on the surgical…read moreoncology team from my dog's oncologist. Unexpectedly a massive gastrointestinal GIST tumor was found on him that we had no idea about. Due to the very tricky location, we talked to several surgeons before meeting Dr Vinayak, all of those others who suggested a very risky procedure of Billroth 1 and/or Billroth 2. Those essentially would have fully removed the tumor, but in doing so would have very likely caused a lot of long term and chronic issues with nutrition, gastric system and overall health. It felt like we were picking between two very difficult, potentially fatal options- an aggressive Billroth procedure or doing nothing. No one else had any other possibilities for us. Then we met Dr. Vinayak. She walked us through her past experience and success with a partial resection of the tumor- removing enough to avoid risk of rupture or obstructing internal organs due to the size, but not going for full margins or complete removal. Given this was a less aggressive tumor and our dog was asymptomatic, this seemed like a much more feasible path. We decided to love forward with the procedure. The whole surgical oncology team was phenomenal to work with. Easy to get ahold of, and always answered all my questions. Dr. Vinayak explained everything very thoroughly, made it easy to understand, and we never felt rushed or pushed into a decision. Her associate Dr Hart was equally as helpful, communicative and so great to work with. The surgery was a great success- Dr Vinayak was successful in exactly what our goal was for this procedure and the outcome was great. After a few nights in the hospital we got to take our dog home, and though he will be on a journey with chemo, thanks to Dr Vinayak and her entire surgical oncology team, we're now looking at years with our dog- not months. The gift she had given us goes beyond words. But at the very least I can share this experience with anyone who has a dog in a difficult situation needing oncological surgery, I cannot reconned Dr Vinayak and her team highly enough.
