Hi Jeanette, Sunnie and the Peaceful Pets Family- I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you did for our family today. Saying goodbye to Ace was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do, and you and Sunnie made it as peaceful and loving as it could possibly be. The way you cared for him--and for all of us--meant more than I can put into words. You took the time to talk with us and our kids. You explained everything in a way that made sense and bought calm. You made our children feel safe and supported no matter what they were feeling. That meant everything to us. You gave us space and time to say goodbye to our good boy in a way that was meaningful and kind. And the little touches... the blanket under his head, the pets and love you gave, the fur you kept and boxed for our children, the invitation for our kids to write a letter that will be with him forever, the calm and warmth you created--it didn't feel clinical, it felt like family. You gave us a moment we'll always be grateful for in the middle of so much heartbreak. Thank you for the love, compassion, and dignity you gave Ace and our whole family today. We will never forget it. read more

I didn't know how I would react the day I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy, Kaid. When Peaceful Pet Services pulled up, it suddenly became very real, and I instantly broke down. The first thing they did was greet me with kindness and hand me Kleenex. Such a small gesture, but it meant everything in that moment. They took the time to talk with us about Kaid's life, and right away they felt like family. They were incredibly kind, respectful, and compassionate, making sure Kaid was as comfortable as possible the entire time. They surrounded him with the love he deserved and gave us so much support and comfort too. They thought of everything. When his paws got muddy, they had wet wipes ready. They brought treats and even a blanket to gently rest his head. We also had our other dog there, and they didn't overlook him either. They gave him love and attention so we could focus on saying our final goodbyes. After Kaid passed, they continued to treat him with such gentleness and care. I know I'll replay those final moments in my mind over and over, but I feel at peace knowing how deeply loved and comforted he was. I am so incredibly grateful to Peaceful Pet Services for giving our boy such a loving and peaceful send-off. I truly can't recommend them enough during one of the hardest moments a pet owner can face. read more

Shiloh gave me and my family all the love he could give and more, so saying goodbye to him felt like an impossible decision. In his final moments with us, Dr. Yamamoto gave us the opportunity to say goodbye to him in the best way possible- with treats, kisses, gratitude, and a peaceful slumber in my mom's arms. Peaceful Pets Services made saying goodbye to my childhood dog more bearable than it would've been had my family made a different decision regarding Shiloh's care. I really REALLY miss Shiloh, but I'm glad we said goodbye to him in the best way possible considering the circumstances. And it was all thanks to Dr. Yamamoto and her team. They walked me and my family through the entire process, gave us time to grieve, and even had us share our favorite moments with him- as if in a way to honor and celebrate his presence in our lives. Their sensitivity in that time helped us focus on giving as much love to Shiloh as we could before, during, and after the procedure. While no loving pet owner would ever want to say goodbye to their companion, Peaceful Pets Services provides a way for our loved one(s) to share their final moments with their family in an environment that they are the most comfortable in. We love and miss you, Shiloh! read more

The decision to put down our pets was agonizing. Peaceful Pets respects that process and lets you be with your pet until the very end in their own home with you. In what was one of the hardest days of my partner's life saying goodbye to his dog of 15 years, I cannot say enough kind words about the support and care Dr Yamamoto and her team gave to us. They provided us with multiple phone consultations, including looking at videos over email all without any fees or asking for any compensation, to help us decide to make the right decision for his girl. She ended up passing before the medical team arrived to provide the in home services but they still did the full transportation and assistance with her cremation and aftercare and could not have been more loving and caring people. This was such a hard day and so traumatic but the true compassion and care and support that this team showed to the entire family was beyond anything I could have expected. My most heartfelt thanks to them all. read more

Peaceful Pets is such a wonderful, caring service. Jeanette and Sunnie treated our cat Smokey and us with such love and compassion. We are so grateful and glad that we called them to help us in our time of need. We have had to sadly say goodbye to three other kitties, always at the vets- and we can say that this time was much better; saying goodbye in the comforting familiarity of our home was the best experience we could have hoped for. This weekend I had to put my beloved 5 year old dog down unexpectedly and didnt even know where to begin. I was given peaceful pets information from a nearby Vet and called immediately. Dr. Yamamoto returned my call and we spoke briefly about my situation. Just by the phone call alone I felt immediately comforted. When they arrived to my home they were so kind and extremely empathetic and it made the sad situation just a little bit better. We cannot express our gratitude and appreciation enough for Dr. Jeanette and her assistant Sunnie! Previous experiences elsewhere have always been a little cold and quickly done. With Peaceful Pet Services, it was quite the opposite. The compassion, warmth, and care both of them extended was truly heartfelt and welcomed! They were promptly on time, and took the time to get to know us and our dog Sadie. There was no "rushing to get to the next appointment", and made sure we were comfortable during the entire process. They explained the procedure in detail, and answered any questions we might've had. The paperwork was simple and again they took the time to confirm we received what we wanted as far as aftercare. The pricing is a little higher than going to your vet's office, but to have it done inside your house, on your dog's favorite bed and blanket, with the care and professionalism they provided was absolutely worth it! Sunnie also followed up the next day (on her day off, even!), to check in with us and confirm one of our requests...making sure we were absolutely satisfied. I contacted peaceful pets in January because my Bubs was struggling. He was 13 years old and I was noticing he had lost his hearing and lost his vision the year prior. He was also experiencing dementia but Peaceful Pets gave me advice and let me know what signs I needed to be aware of to ensure Bubs isn't struggling/suffering. Bubs did well for 2-4 months but come May and Bubs lost mobility and was no longer able to use the back two legs. I was heart broken and called Peaceful Pets to inform them. They helped me figure out a good time for them to come to my home. They came and were extremely helpful and empathetic. My 10 year old son was there and they gave him time to say goodbye. Bubs was family, my son hadn't known a life without him. Peaceful pets honored Bubs. Needless to say I'm so glad I went with them. They are amazing and know exactly what they're doing. So this has taken 10 months to write because I really couldn't come to write it until now. Our rescue Boston of 13-ish years, after going blind, deaf and having issues said enough was enough and so in December of 2020 we called Peaceful Pets based on the great recommendations. Both Summer and Jeanette were so understanding and caring with this very difficult task. The process was not only loving but as the name says peaceful. I held Ruby in my arms as she took her last calm breath and slipped away. We were given some moments to grieve her and then they wrapped her up and carried her away as if she had just fallen asleep. It was a lovely end to a member of our family and it was hard to let go but dogs are gifts from God, but they are temporary gifts. We previously used a vet on another pet and I would never do that again. I would highly recommend if you have to make this difficult choice to contact Peaceful Pets. They have our thanks for all the love they showed us and our little Ruby. read more

Dr. Yamamoto and Kyra have been so helpful since day one with my dear Coco. I was lost, undecided what to do even up to the last minute weighing between the possibility of having my Coco go through more treatments and possibly through pain and suffering more vs comfort measures. As A business they still gave me the respect or make the right choice and decision base on how we feel and what we see in my dear Coco and what we think is the best. They have given me resources for options of we decide to go more of treatment and further testings. What really inspires me and touched my soul is the support that I got from Dr Yamamoto during the whole process of Coco's last few days. I have sent messages to other companies but the responses i got was "purely business" meaning i didn't feel the compassion that Dr Yamamoto gave responding to my messages to guide me along the way even at night and early morning ing And it was really destined for Coco to be in their good hands, they were the first available when Coco passed. The service was so intimate, solemn and my Coco was Give the most respect of all. There are no words to express my deepest appreciation. I even received a sympathy card after and some resources for my Hollie who is at risk for isolation due to the loss of her fur friend. I highly recommend them!!' read more

Dr. Yamamoto and Kira were so absolutely wonderful, caring and patient when I had to say "see you soon, I Love you!" To my sweet puppy boy Max. They made a very difficult time a very peaceful and meaningful one for me, my Max who they were so gentle with, and my family. It's impossible to express to any non-pet owner the excruciating difficulty in choosing a time to help your faithful companion move on from the physical realm. Never mind the complex set of individual circumstances and arrangements that have to be set up once that decision has been made. When we arrived that point with our sweet pug, Lenny Brisco, just two weeks after his 15th birthday, we sought out as much advice as we could get. I made a lot of calls and sent a lot of DM's only to find out that my current Vet, my previous Vet, and three other friends all raved about Dr. Yamamoto and her staff. So I reached out and had a nice chat with Elizabeth who was able to clearly explain the process, the choices I had to make and what dates/times would work for us both. I texted Dr. Yamamoto the day of and asked her to back into my driveway to ensure a speedy and private exit. She followed my instructions to the letter and arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. From there she called the shots and, expertly guided us through the process. Both she and her assistant, Kyra, clearly had abundant experience in doing this very difficult thing under really unpredictable circumstance with tremendous grace and effortlessness. They were able to win the trust of our very skittish Boston Terrier/ Pug mix Hamlet, who was incredibly protective of us all, but especially Lenny. He was included in the process and was given (encouraged) to pay his final respects to Lenny an ensure that he passed painlessly. I was amazed to see how well they handled Hamlet who would normally be barking his head off with two strangers in the living room. My wife was very attached to Lenny and was concerned about what would happen immediately after he passed while she was holding him. But they totally eased her concerns and simply allowed the process to go forward without any complications. Bottom line is, we couldn't possibly recommend Dr. Yamamoto and Peaceful Pet's Service any higher. If you need to help your pet pass and they service your area, this is the one to call. read more

Calling for Peaceful Pets was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. How can you ask someone to come and take your beloved pet from you forever? He was the closest I'll ever come to having a child. I knew it was his time, but it was still incredibly heartbreaking and hard. I didn't think I'd ever get to a place where I could just stop crying for a few minutes. The person on the phone was so, so sweet and empathetic. They were very helpful and kind and even offered to communicate via text message instead of another phone call, seeing that it was difficult for me to even speak. They came a few minutes late, but I was so grateful for the extra few minutes with my boy that I almost wished they were even more late. Everything was explained before it happened. It still felt impossible and like my heart was being ripped out of my chest, but they did as much as they could to ease the strain. I was offered a clipping of his fur to keep, and they also offer public or private cremation and a ceramic pawprint. The private cremation will take approximately 2 weeks and was an additional ~$250, and I think it was $50 for public, where the ashes will be spread at Redondo Beach with other pets as well. They sent me a handwritten sympathy card in the mail and contacted our primary veterinarians for me so that I wouldn't have to make those calls. The card was very sweet and though I'm sure they have a thousand of these generic cards, the handwritten note added a heartfelt personal touch to it. They were so genuinely kind and helpful. I couldn't imagine having to take my boy to an uncomfortable doctor's office to say goodbye. They gave me the option to give him a comfortable last day in his favorite spot at home, surrounded by love. Worth every penny. Thank you. read more
