Terrible communication & difficult person…read more I've had difficulty communicating with this dog walker, especially via text. At one point, she told me her calendar wasn't available, which was frustrating since most of us rely on our phone calendars. While she was texting me that she couldn't check it, it felt off-putting and unprofessional. It's for the safety of Dogs that she can't check her calendar. How is she able to text? I just can't figure out this part. She also told me she would call at 3 PM to confirm availability for a walk three days later but never followed up. When I reached out a few days later, she informed me she was taking a self-care day instead. While I understand the importance of self-care, the lack of communication was disappointing. Additionally, she mentioned she was extremely busy and couldn't do any walks in the morning, with the earliest availability at 2:45 PM. If you're looking for someone with more flexibility or reliability, she may not be the best fit. Then she told me she had the wrong month and actually couldn't fit me in at all so that was a nice kind of blow off. This was really quite an experience. Good luck. lol. (It's always a red flag. When someone only has five stars. I should've listened to my gut.)

Our two dogs, Riley and Lucy, were very anxious and very yappy corgis, so we knew we needed help. They went through their extensive training program while we were away on vacation and when we came back, they were almost unrecognizable. They learned so much and we learned even more in terms of how to better care for them, how to effectively walk them and also how to utilize the e-collars. Needless to say, they are now the best walkers and they never bark when we play fetch. Since then, we have relied on Bethany and Chris to watch our doggies occasionally and we always feel confident that they are being cared for in such a loving but controlled environment. We could not recommend Bethany and Chris enough. In fact, our dogs are doing another board and train later this summer just for some obedience maintenance and I know they can't wait to be with them again! Just wanted to write an update and give another shout out to RBR. Since my last review, we had our…read morefollow-up training after I moved. This really helped with Lola's anxiety and readjustment to the new apartment. I sent Lola back for a tune-up in Fall 2020 when I started school and moved again. In March, Lola boarded at RBR while I was away for a weekend trip. Bethany worked with me on pick-up and drop-off as I live far away and have a crazy work/school schedule. Lola's e-collar and remote stopped working (at separate times) and Bethany was able to help me get them replaced. Much appreciated! Bethany and her team have been so so so amazing. I am forever grateful for their wisdom and advice. Bethany has been flexible and helpful with me through the many environmental changes I've had to go through in the past couple of years (which subsequently affected Lola). She has also been available to answer questions and concerns I have had after training. RBR's online videos are super helpful when I need reminders and extra training tips. I'm so glad my coworker told me about RBR.

When my puppy was showing early signs of resource guarding that were concerning, Maria stepped in…read moreon short notice and with one session I noticed a dramatic improvement in his demeanor and behavior around food and bones. By practicing the exercises she gave us, he now comfortably is able to chew bones and eat his food around us and other dogs without lunging or barking which is a huge relief as he will be a large dog when he is fully grown. Additionally, she helped me start to shift my relationship with my puppy which resulted in more respect and obedience from him in general. We could only do a few sessions together before moving out of state, but it is easy to see that she understands dogs and they truly respond to her guidance. We still have a ways to go with training, but with the tools and lessons Maria left us with I am much more confident that we are on the right path!
