Cut the tip of my dog's ear off along with seemingly another cut in the same ear. Didn't mention anything to my parents who were the ones that took her to this groomer. Haircut is bad for the price. CLEARLY there needs to be a license requirement for dog grooming just based on this groomer alone. It seems I'm also not the only person who's experienced their pet getting hurt based on past reviews. This groomer seems to have a history of hurting animals and I'm devastated that my family didn't see/find the reviews where animals were hurt by this business. read more

We saw the negative reviews about this place and owner and for some reason still gave it a shot. BAD IDEA! My husband went in to take our two mini schnauzers to get groomed this morning after calling to make sure that they had availability. He arrived and set the dogs down and the owner yelled asking for the dogs to not pee inside, he then said, "how would you like it if I went to your house and had dogs pee all over it???" How does he not understand that he owns a dog establishment and dogs are going to pee there sometimes?? Even though our dogs DID NOT pee anywhere! My husband tried to reason with him to no avail and the owner gave him our dogs back and said, "You know what? Have a nice day", sarcastically and made sure to say it in Spanish to try and mock my husband. He then makes a point to hold the door open and let my husband know that he also owns the three other closest dog grooming places so "good luck" and then said adios amigo. What a racist piece of crap. Do not come here. read more

I should have left this review back when it happened, I've never been one to ever leave reviews. This is the first time. That said, back when this place first opened for business, I took my Husky in for a full groom, including anal glands expressed, nails trimmed, etc . . . I gave the owner absolute instructions to NOT use a blow dryer on her, as she is deathly afraid of blow dryers, vacuums, power tools, etc . . . I also told him, if he had any issues, to call me, and I could be there within a few minutes. I live just minutes away. The only call I got, was to tell me my dog was ready for pick up. When I got there my dog was muzzled, and shaking like a leaf. I told him to remove the muzzle and he said no ? After I removed the muzzle, the owner, with attitude, proceeded to tell me how after bathing my dog, she pissed all over the placed, and that he had to bathe her all over again. Seeing she was completely dry, I told him that's because you used a blow dryer on her. He shrugged this off by saying dogs aren't afraid of blow dryers. He then went on to tell me how he didn't trim her nails or express her anal glands because he had to clean up " Her Piss" his words. My dog was beyond frantic to get out of this torture chamber, so we left. Once home and for the next two days, my dog shook, and refused to even go on a walk. When she did finally calm down, I notice she was limping. Based on the distance from the table to the tub, my guess is when he had her tethered to the table when he was using the blow dryer on her, and she peed, that he grabbed her and threw her back in the tub. This guy is an Animal Abuser hiding behind his fake charm, then once its just him and your pet alone, his real side comes out, and beware, if your dog fusses at all, hes gonna reveal his true side. I wouldnt take a damn throw rug to get cleaned by this POS. If you Love your Dog, steer clear of this place all together. read more

I love their flat monthly fee for unlimited washes. There is a small fee each time of about $8. Totally reasonable. My big dogs are usually expensive. This is a really economical way to go. read more

ALL of her hair was shaved off, including her whiskers. she immediately pooped in my car and started to shake when we left. she also threw up once we got home. please please don't take ur pets here. it is the biggest mistake i have ever made. read more

Francisco and Julián are AMAZING with my dogs. All three have their quirks- and he knows this! He knows one dog is a nervous pooper. He knows one dog HATES her nails trimmed and needs to be held- and doesn't react negatively because she's a Pitbull the way all other groomer have. He's calm and patient. My neurotic dog needs a muzzle because she's afraid....and he pets her and calms her and talks to her...she doesn't even need to be tied up when he does her nails!!! These guys are literally the dog whisperers!!!! read more

First time coming here, the owner Francisco is an AMAZING person! I took my cat to get her nails trimmed, it was a while that her nails got trimmed so there were pretty long and sharp. Sky is usually well behaved, but after her sprayed I saw her other side lol. To my horrible surprise she did not behave well, I was expecting Francisco to tell me he couldn't do it, and I was surprised and happy to hear he would still try and attempt his best! He truly cares for animals and has the empathy, understanding and PATIENCE! He managed to get half of the job done, Sky was just not having it, and to my surprise he told me he will try again next week! Not only that but he didn't even charge me! He took the the time to give me tips and overall I was just so happy I went to this place! Thank you so much! If you are looking this place up, go! Do not use this service. Both of my dogs were injured one had an injured die the other had a runny nose. Both were not cut well and the male dog had a filthy uncut face as if he had been playing in mud. They were both lethargic for the whole day and my female dog was trying to soothe herself by laying on her eye. He also tried to charge me $180 even though he had not trim their nails or expressed their anal glands. I literally ran out of there. They also did not wear masks inside their own building around other peoples beloved pets. read more

Over priced & severely sub standard. We recently moved to Castaic from Hollywood and so needed a new groomer for our Maltese and Rottweiler. I wanted to find a local, small business to support - especially during these times. However- Long story short. The place is INCREDIBLY over priced for a less than average service. Our little Maltese was shaved- not cut. It was uneven and actually bald in some places. And for $70! It's cost $60 for our short haired, medium sized Rottweiler to have a bath and nail trim. SAVE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE!!! The man at reception was nice and friendly but with no prices on the website to prepare us, we just felt completely ripped off. These people must know how expensive and substandard their service is. Bottom line- I'll be going to Petco next time. Which is a real shame. read more

Never need to make an appointment and he takes my dogs right away..my dogs are not stressed out at all the way they have been stressed at other places.. We were very unhappy with the cut that was given to our dog. It looked amateur and very choppy. There was a patch on her chest that was cut very short where you could see her skin. There was no consistency to the cut. There were various lengths all over the body. They also nipped her ear and it was bleeding when we got home and we were not notified of the incident at pick up. We called and received a 20$ credit for our next service. Unfortunately, we will not be going back to utilize the credit. The shampoo did smell good and we were able to get in with one days notice, so that was a plus. read more

Whoever did my dogs cut needs to be fired because they clearly have no idea what they are doing. My dogs head is cut way too short and it is extremely uneven. Her tail is so fluffy. And they fluffed her body, which is usually fine, but they made her head look so tiny. She looks ridiculous. They also don't do bows which should be included in the $70 because WOW. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We've taken our dog there a few times, and to be honest, never really loved the service, but kept making excuses for returning ("maybe last time was an inexperienced groomer..."), plus the convenience is nice & we were wanting to support a local small business. A few weeks ago, we took our dog who was in perfect health upon arrival, but when we picked him up, he was squinting his eye. A few hours later, he could no longer open it & there was puss oozing out. We took him to the vet who had to run a special test & it was confirmed there was damage to his eye, which according to the vet, was likely caused by getting hit by something (he suggested a blow dryer). The vet also mentioned how many fresh cuts our pup had all over his body. All of this was NEVER mentioned when we picked our pup up from the groomer. We had an incident at this groomer a few months prior, where our dog was returned with a cut under his armpit (no mention of it from the groomer..we noticed it when we got home), so shame on us for continuously giving this groomer more chances. If this is important to you, he also doesn't wear a mask in the business. For the record, I never confronted the owner after our most recent visit, as reading from other reviews, he is very rude to people who express concern & I saw no purpose in dealing with that. Threatened me and my 9 month old pregnant wife outside of his shop because we weren't parked correctly in his parking lot before they even opened. There was no one in the parking lot and we just wanted to see if we could get our dog's nails trimmed. The male owner proceeded to park his car 2 inches from our truck out of aggression so I honked at him ( thought maybe he didn't see me). He then proceeded to honk back and told me to get out of the car. Argument ensued. I have a long bed truck and it's hard to get into a space since this lot was very narrow. I would have been taking up my parking space plus only leaving very little room for others to move about the parking lot freely. Yes, I was wrong for that but that's no reason for someone to have a total meltdown in front of their business at 9am. A simple request to move my truck would have sufficed. I have been bringing my dogs here for years. No matter how short the notice is they always accommodate my pups. My dogs can be a bit nervous during the grooming (especially nails) process, but they do such a great job and are so patient with my dogs. My dogs are always well taken care of an happy when i pick them up. I showed up letting him know that we have an appointment and the second he saw my cat, he immediately refused to groom my cat. He raised his voice at me and went off when I was just trying to clarify about something miniscule regarding an add on service for my dog. I was very shocked, like jeez... what kind of owner would talk like this to a client/customer? He totally raged! Very sub par service.. they couldn't even clean and trim the fur around the mouth area coz he said my dog was "being very difficult" when I can hardly believe that as my little maltese is the sweetest almost just like a stuff toy who's never budged at anything. I have gone to this groomer several times, and I thought he was doing a great job, however, when I took my dog to the vet, I was told that his anal glands hadn't been extracted in a long time, and were hardened and compacted like marbles. How can this be I thought? My groomer always told me that they did my dogs ears, toe nails and his anal glands, as ALL groomers do. Obviously this groomer did NOT, and told me that he did. It was very painful for my dog to go through the vet sticking his finger up there and trying to squeeze out marbles. For that reason I will no longer be seeing this groomer.
